Street Fighter was much better. But whenever I played this, I would always be Sub-Zero because he was beyond greatness.

The roster started to greatly expand with Shaolin Monks, Deception, Deadly Alliance...

If you're going to play any, and don't care about the story, just play Armageddon. It's the newest one in the storyline, but is only like $20 (<~~ I can't exchange that) online.

It has the entire cast of characters, so you can just go straight to arcade mode (where you just have fights against the computer) or versus mode (duh).

I'm not sure...On mkarmageddon.com it has a link to "Buy Now", but only lists the XBox and PS2, but I know it's available on the Wii. It may be if you look for it.

At the link, you can also get a brief biography on each character, and it has a little video where you can see them in action, and a view of all the arenas.

I just checked xbox.com, and it is compatible for the 360, it just doesn't have it's own "version" or whatever

Yea he was the original Sub Zero. He got killed by scorpion and sent to the nether realm. Him and Smoke are different people.
