Miz/RVD feud, Anyone?

I would like to see a Miz/RVD fued and I feel now is a good time. RVD hasnt really had a propper feud since joining WWE again, apart from maybe ADR. Its also been awhile since Miz has been in the spotlight.

We all know that RVD is an enhancement talent right now and Miz needs enhancing. So ultimately Miz should go over in the feud, I feel the feud would get both guys over too.

I think their characters would mesh well together. Miz with his over the top 'look at me attitude' and RVD with his 'I dont give a rats' attitude. I honestly think that they could do well together.

Ive always liked RVD. I liked Miz for a brief period while US champ/ Mr money in the bank. I feel Miz can become entertaining again and that RVD is the right guy to get him back there.

Id have Miz win the IC title at battleground. Feud starts over title, then gets personal. End it in a hardcore style match where Miz goes over RVD in his own environment.

1) Would you like to see this feud?

2) Can RVD help put Miz back into the spotlight?

3) Would they work well together?

The problem with The Miz is that, it doesn't matter how good he is on the mic and how good of a performance he delivers - at the end of the day the fans do not respect the guy as a professional wrestler, so this change of gimmick was by far the best thing that happened to him, because he can now, live what everybody thinks of him and be himself.

I'm a big fan of The Miz, specially after his title reign that in my mind he really deserved, however I can see that the guy isn't "always entertaining", sometimes he's really good like his matches with Ziggler on Main Event, and others he just plain sucks. He lacks the efficiency that other performers do have and he isn't even considered to be more than a midcard right now, so I don't really see that feud happening in the foreseeable future. Not with Antonio Cesaro, Rusev, Ambrose, Reigns, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Randy Orton, Kane, Rollins and even The Usos being the focus.

As a fan I think that the feud could be nice to highlight Miz's promos if given a proper cool content. However the matches would not be more than mediocre, which is fine by the way, but still, Miz would have to carry the storyline and I just don't see WWE using one of their quarters to further this up. I would rather much see him joining forces with Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston as a disgruntled union, but not even that will happen.

I have no problem with a Miz/RVD feud. RVD is a great talent who can still go better than most of WWE's current stars, and The Miz is a guy who I feel was unfairly pushed aside by WWE despite making it to the top. I thoroughly enjoyed Miz's run at the top and would love to see him feud with RVD, especially for a championship.

I haven't really cared for RVD and wished that he didn't come back.

While RVD will put over all the heel talents, his very presence keeps face wrestlers from moving up the ladder because his very presence takes up a spot that a face wrestler could be pushed into

Miz beating RVD really means nothing, since WWE would be featuring him whether RVD is around or not. I'd rather see WWE letting someone lower in the ranks STEP UP to Miz and lose in a competitive effort that will put both guys over.

Personally, I wouldn't. In my opinion, I feel at this point of Miz's career he's better off being enhancement talent for the next generation like Reigns, Ambrose etc.

I don't think anybody could help Miz get back into the spotlight. He made the most of his opportunity a few years ago as WWE Champion.

I think he'd have good matches with RVD but it's just pointless to have a feud between the two because I don't think nobody would care.

Now if RVD had a feud with Cesaro about being a former Heyman guy that would be interesting.

I like the Miz as a heel and I think RVD only works as a face, so it wouldn't be a bad rivalry...but...I dunno. RVD has become too much of the jobber lately. I actually wish Jericho and the Miz had a prolonged feud, as I thought they had good chemistry during their confrontations. Sheamus Vs Miz can be interesting, but we'll just have to see.

Also, RVD isn't that great on the mic. I think the Miz needs an enemy who can match him in verbal sparring.

I have to side with those, who say a win over RVD won't do anything for The Miz.

RVD sticks around for a handful of months and disappears again. That's the RVD cycle, and we're not going to see any changes for it, because RVD is a revolving door for the younger guys on the roster (Rusev, Ceasro, and Barrett), so they can pick up a credible win over a former world champion with some real name value. In the end, the current RVD formula won't help Miz hit the fast track to super stardom, because a. RVD constantly loses, and b. it's not going to work out with a limited schedule and WWE trying to squeeze RVD for all he's worth, so you're running the risk of an improper feud with no real stability.

Also, Miz is on to something with his pompous and delusional Hollywood movie star character, who protects his face or his "moneymaker," so there's no real need for a feud with RVD. I'm not saying it's a sign of a main event push for Miz, because that ship sailed a long time ago, but there's a chance of Miz having a more successful run in the mid card with this character.

I'm gonna come off like a prick here, but hey that's just one of the things the Internets become most useful for. For me, a Miz/RVD feud would not interest me at all. Here are my two reasons why:

1) I have never been a Miz fan. I think he is a mediocre wrestler, and talker. I also think he cannot pull off anything Gimmick wise outside of his heel gimmick from when he was last heel. He tried to be a babyface and didn't do anything else differently except wrestled heels. Now he's trying to be a heel again, but the only difference is he talks about being a movie star. Wow talk about a dynamic talent.

2) I use to really like RVD. Heck I was pumped when he showed up in TNA, and was twice as pumped when he was announced to return to WWE. Sadly in both cases I quickly went from excited to bored. Not bored like you're watching a bad movie, but bored like you're watching a good movie that you've seen four million times and you can't change the channel, and the channel is showing a lifetime marathon of the same movie. No offense to The Whole F'n Show, but we've seen the Whole F'n Show. Please do something different with you're character. Hell he doesn't even need to change anything, just at least put in a stronger effort. It seems like RVD has gotten so use to his ring style and his shtick that he literally just goes on auto pilot whenever he is in the ring. Maybe i'm just a prick like i suggested early, but for me RVD comes across like he's just doing what he's done for the past twenty years cause its gotten easy and he can get paid.

So there's my rant. Too sum it up, I love wrestling too much to stop watching even when I hate it, so this feud would lead to me ranting about it, and flipping over to Full House reruns during their matches.

I do believe the miz is using the same opening sequence that the rock used back when he turnt heel in 2001 or 2002
