MITB/Punk angle scenarios

So what do you think will happen? Here's a possibility.

Punk & Cena have a greuling match. In the end, The Rock's music hits, Cena gets distracted, Punk hits the GTS for the win. Turns out The Nexus was responsible for the music getting played. Punk clings to the title, mocking Cena as Cena can't believe it. Punk leaves through the entranceway with the title, but both come flying back out. Out walks VKM's doofus son-in-law, HHH, who gets in another shot or two, grabs the title, and leaves. This sets up: is Cena fired? Punk won the title, but didn't leave with it, thanks to HHH. Also sets up Punk threatening to sue, or whatever, to get the title back, and a possible rematch, or maybe a match with HHH at Summerslam. Vignettes with Punk are filmed via satellite or outside the arena to sell his not being with the company, but having a vested interest in HIS title.

What else you got? I KNOW everyone is thinking of their own scenarios.

This could possibly work. But i wouldn't have HHH wrestle. i would just have him hijack the title, and come out on Raw the next night saying that he got done what the "old man" couldn't do, and that its better that he and Steph run things from now on. It would set Trips up as a MR. McMahon-esque type character, and could open up a multitude of possibilities for angles up until WM. I wouldn't have Punk come back right away... just have his lawyers caught up in letigation to get the title back and off of whoever is holding the belt at that time (probably Del Rio).

Mysterio wins the MITB for Raw but picks up an injury during the match.

Cena and Punk have a great match with Punk somehow winning but possibly not with the GTS. Maybe after countering an AA attempt with a roll-up by holding the tights. The whole crowd erupts but out comes a limping Rey Mysterio to challenge Punk. The match gets underway but it is more or less even due to Mysterio's injury. The ref then gets bumped at the 5 minute interval and out comes HHH with a sledgehammer. Punk somehow hits the GTS on Rey but HHH comes back from behind and rams Punk with the sledgehammer. Vince comes out with a ref and throws Mysterio over Punk and we have a three count. We now have HHH as a heel and Mysterio as champion after MITB.

Next night on Raw Mysterio comes out and says that he is not happy with the title win as he did not win cleanly. He wants to face a guy and defeat him in order to prove that he is a worthy champion. That guy is the only wrestler in the WWE who is on Punk's level and that is John Cena. Cena is also shown backstage talking trash with Hunter for doing to Punk what he did.

The match between Cena and Rey is the main event and it features Cena being on the aggressive but Rey somehow clinging on. Then suddenly Hunter comes out and smashes Rey with the same sledgehammer that he attacked Punk with. Cena goes up to Hunter and it looks like he will attack Hunter but he starts beating up Mysterio instead signalling a heel turn. The ref threatens to disqualify but Hunter knocks him down as well and brings out another ref who makes the count for Cena. Cena becomes champ and HHH and Cena become the new Two Man Power Trip.

Cena continues running through the roster till Punk returns at Royal Rumble to take the title from Cena, this time as a face.

I guarantee that this will NOT happen but I'd love to see this unfold anyway.

He would surely get an intense negative reaction in Chicago for screwing Punk out of the title. I'd also have Punk beat Cena more or less cleanly but not with a GTS. Basically I am envisioning a HBK/ Jericho WM 19 like finish. The fact that he screwed a guy who won the title cleanly and was fending off another guy just after his title win would surely not be well recieved by the fans.

I think the reaction would mostly be mixed until the end of next night's show until Cena and HHH team up to take down Mysterio.

I think the big expectation is for Punk to win, with the MITB match winner to take it back from him. Perhaps Punk wins...Del Rio cashes in, and Punk just lays down for him. Punk literally sells out to Del Rio, who hands him a briefcase full of money. Del Rio celebrates, Punk flicks off Cena. Sets up Punk leaving for a while, and puts Del Rio in the anticipated feud with Cena.

CM Punk wins the title and Cena is fired. He defends it at indy shows sanctioned by WWE against their top wrestlers and retains every single time. CM Punk vs John Cena for the WWE championship happens and Cena wins. CM Punk is still gone. WWE is praised by the "IWC" for giving exposure to some indy promotions.

-Punk wins, Cena is fired, all the Raw faces come to the ring and take out Punk, the MITB winner cashes in. That at least gives Cena a storyline leading into SummerSlam, Punk is gone and there's a new champion.

They could probably get round the Cena firing by having him drag out the MITB winner after Punk has been taken out, that'd then create a new feud. Del Rio could say earlier in the night that he's cashing in at Mania, it's his destiny, right! Cena fucks it up by making him do it 9 months in advance.
