No, IC apparently discovered quite a few votes for Edge using the same IP address. He's looking into it apparently.

ZOMG, imagine that. Because everyone knows that 4 please vote Misawa threads isn't enough, there must have surely been some type of injustice that has resulted in this tragedy.

Actually, TDigs and CM get credit. They simply brought it to my attention. If I cannot find proof, the match ends in a tie and we go to a Triple Threat for the Gold.

Two individuals, whom both voted Misawa, brought up the fact that there could've been (stress, bold and underline the word "could've been") possible underhanded tactics that lead to the votes for the Wrestler they didn't vote for and support, ultimately ending things in a tie.. .. .. ..

Being looked into by the Admin, who started the final of 4 "I'll kiss your ass and suck your dick for a vote for Misawa" threads. Oh, the irony.

I just made her up, invented two children (afterall, my kids are way too beautiful to be my own) and faked wedding photos on photoshop.. all so I could masterfully have a secondary account in which to vote Edge a 2nd time.

Mainly all because I felt starting a "vote *insert Wrestler here*" thread was too much effort and work to put in the time to do.

Uhm, yes, you can. M-Bot never sent forth an alert thread about Erin & I sharing the same I.P addy until I stepped down. Its not to say you can't manually go in and out of everyone's account and notice if they have more than one user name running off the same I.P addy.. but M-Bot won't alert the Staff to an alt. Staff account. (unless you upgraded things, which I highly don't put much faith or stock into believing.)

Also, I feel the need to re-state something I said earlier in this thread.

It seems like way too much trouble to make up pure bullshit about alts. (I mean, you'd have to go through with banning accounts, and then since its public - explaining the whole situation on why votes are being taken away, when its never been done in this manner before, etc, etc, etc.)

Why not just "fix" the poll to show Misawa winning by 1 vote. Enough people would surely believe it, I mean look how many threads were made begging for votes? Almost a fraction of the amount of votes he actually got. So surely its possible that he could've won by a single vote. Why not just "fix it", you know, since everything you're doing now is just making this entire thing look like a shame to begin with and all?

So, just because I voted for Misawa, the only motivation I'd have to report alts voting for his opponent would be my support of Misawa? This is about as flawed as logic gets, and it's a pretty elementary logical flaw as well. If anyone needs to have things dumbed down for them around here, it's you.

Once again, I just find it a bit funny how not just a week ago everyone (and by everyone, I mean the Japanese Camp) was in an up-roar over alts. voting for HBK. Yet that one was allowed to slip and be forgotten about.

Now, a week later, another Japanese Wrestler is fallen by the wayside - barely gets by with a tie, and suddenly more "alts" are discovered in votes against him.

That doesn't in the slightest seem ODD to you? (Of course not)

And lets for one moment say this is 100% in NO connection (which it is, but thats besides the point for the moment) - so, lets say - no connection.. .. why wasn't this person banned UPON SIGNING IN with their 2nd account? Much less their 6th or 20th?

I never said it was "allowed". I said it was possible to do.

Once again, read all of what I write, Klunker. I said the M-Bot never picked up on Erin & I sharing the same I.P addy until I stepped down. (in other words, it claimed a staff member was fine with having "multiple accounts".)

Yet when I stepped down, I was told instantly by Becca that M-Bot reported me as having an alt. (ie. Erin's account)

Which lead me to know that M-Bot wouldn't pick up a Staff member with an "illegal" alt. account, if they decided to make one. Again though, you are 100% correct - (unless they're okay'd by an Admin, such as mine for Erin, they are AGAINST THE RULES TO HAVE.)

Its like you think somehow saying that will make people mistake your love of Edge but overall "knowledge" of Misawa the greater of the two "goods".

Its no different than me saying.. I respect Misawa marks in what they believe in and he looks to be a great Wrestler, but, I'm still voting Edge.

I didn't come across CM's post with all the alts in it until this round of voting. But, now that you mention it, this is the same guy who had two alts that voted for Michaels. But, Sly discounted it because he said just as many people with proxy IPs voted for Kobashi, and we just assume those are alts.

Firstly, I've never said what you're quoting me as saying there. You and HBK-aholic love to use that excuse though. Secondly, what you're saying does not make perfect logical sense. Just because I like Misawa, this in no way, shape, or form MUST be the reason why I brought up the alts. There could also be other reasons (e.g., a staff member's responsibility to report alts). I have no problem with you saying that I brought up the alts only because of my love for Misawa. But saying that this MUST be the reason why I brought up the alts is a false assertion.
