Who else is a fan of MGMT? And which of their songs is your favourite?

I love MGMT, their one of my favourite bands. Ever since Time To Pretend was played at the end of the second series of Skins, I've been a fan. My favourite song of theirs is Time To Pretend, it's infact the second mosted listened to song on my iTunes. It's just plain awesome.

They're ok...
I mean, they didn't deserve so much critical acclaim for their first album, people have been going crazy about them sits 'Kids' came out.
Yeah, they're talented and they are good. But my god, they're overrated beyond belief.

It depends on what kinda music you're into.

Origin of Symmetry is arugably their most heavy, rock based album.
Absolution is more epic and complex.
Showbiz is simple and kinda poppy.

Or you could wait until the new album comes out next month.

Heard of them AGES before a lot of people. A couple of years ago I was searching on myspace for "Surf" music. On around the 17th page I stumbled across them, hardly any fans.

Added Time to Pretend (demo version) as my profile song and people started digging it. Imagine my surprise when six months later I then saw a video pop up on MTV2 and they started to become big. Infuriated me in some ways, cause while I'm happy they're successful, you do gotta hate it when a band you like becomes really popular. Haha. You shouldn't act that way, but you do.
