The finalists in the search for a theme song for Meltdown! The winning song will be announced at Meltdown this coming week, and be performed live by the band at that show!

The finalists are:

"Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven
"Big Machine" by Velvet Revolver
"Click Click Boom" by Saliva
"Image of the Invisible" Thrice"
"Ten Thousand Fists" by Disturbed
"10 Scene Points to the Winner" by Funeral For a Friend
"A Kiss to Send us Off" by Incubus

Click the songs to listen to them, and choose the song you feel best represents Meltdown, and the energy of Meltdown.

The winner will be announced at Meltdown, where the winning band will perform.

- The new Meltdown theme song will debut this week. The two still being considered are 'Paralyzer' and '10 Thousand Fists.' WZCW has contacted both Finger Eleven and Disturbed, and the band with the chosen song will give a live performance. Chuck Myles has said that people have only one more day to cast their votes.

I chose the songs in conjunction with the rest of the staff, we chose songs that fit the mood of Meltdown, at least what we were trying to portray, and we were trying to choose something fairly recent, preferably something practically new.
