I used to be a big deal

Chuck Myles and the staff were once again said to be very pleased with Meltdown last night. The arena was once again near full, and the word is the ratings were once again strong. Everyone is looking forward to Meltdown in Fresno in August 13th.

Some injuries are to be reported coming out of Meltdown however. Celeste Crimson was said to have lost a lot of blood during the Battle Royal, and it's questionable whether she'll be able to compete on August 13th as she was feeling woozy, but doctors are saying she will certainly be cleared by Unscripted on the 26th of August.

There is fear that Will Josephs has dislocated his shoulder from his match with Strife, and that Aries was on the receiving end of a concussion during his match with DC, but more details on those injuries as they are available.

In news about the next Meltdown, sources backstage are saying Chuck Myles was fuming after the show because of the actions of Strife after the Battle Royal. These sources were confirmed when Myles released the following statement:

"Based on the actions of Strife and his manager, Dr. David Creed, Mr. Myles has decided to make Strife's match with Ace Cannon as NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH. Of course, in the interest of fairness, the other Pinnacle Pursuit Semi Final match between DC and Aaron Craig will also be No Disqualifications. Creed wants to be able to influence Strife in his matches, he got his wish.

This leads us to believe that while Myles is condoning any potential actions to be taken by Creed on August 13th, he is also condoning any actions Ace Cannon's High Society members might be thinking of taking during the same match.

Finally, WZCW.com has learned of several more matches for Meltdown. On top of the three matches already announced, Titus will now team up with Everest to take on the team of Mohammed Hasheem and Arch Angel.

Also, WZCW.com has learned that both Aurelia Molotov and Brian Michaels have requested singles matches for Meltdown, and their individual requests have been approved by Chuck Myles. Their opponents, however, have yet to be announced. More on this as it comes in.

Finally, in Unscripted news, we have learned that the official poster and theme song for Unscripted will be unveiled this week at some point, along with the first few matches for the show.

We already know of the finals for the Pinnacle Pursuit tournament will be help for unscripted, but no other matches have been announced.

We can now OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE the following match:

Northern Lights vs. Sex & Violence in a Canadian Street Fight.

More matches will be unveiled during the week.

Just announced!

WZCW.com has learned who will face Brian Michaels and Aurelia Molotov in their singles matches at Meltdown.

Brian Michaels will square off against the man who eliminated him in the battle royal, Jason Sincade.

Also, Aurelia Molotov will square off 1 on 1 with Jack Harris.

Tune in to meltdown to see these matches and more on August 13th!!

  • And in other news for the 4th Episode of Meltdown, Gus, Kenny Cox and Ben Legend will face off against 2Fly, Tristan Kist and Aries. None of these 6 men have won a match yet in WZCW, and will be looking to break the duck. Chuck Myles has said to be disappointed with their efforts (or lack of in some cases) with these men, and is giving them an opportunity to prove themselves here.

"It's not like this is one of those matches thrown together at the last second. I'm going to pay close attention to this match. These guys have been underperforming lately, and I want to see who has the balls to step up and prove the doubters wrong. If they want to better themselves, now is the chance, and when I, Chuck Myles, gives you a chance, you ought to take it with both hands, because they won't be coming every day."

  • High Society's feud with Celeste Crimson and Aurelia Molotov, has been well documented. There is a strong chance that at Unscripted, we may see a match involving members from these sides, but that is to be decided later, although it certainly is on the cards right now.

  • Also, look out for a few stipulation matches at Unscripted. There have been very few of these matches on Meltdown, because Myles saves those stipulation matches for the PPV's, in an effort to increase buyrates.
