WZCWOpening.jpg

WZCW Meltdown emanates LIVE from the Memorial Hall in the heart of America, Kansas City, Kansas! It's a sell out with 3,500 WZCW fans waiting for action.

Copeland: Welcome to another exciting edition of WZCW's premier television broadcast, Friday Night Meltdown! I'm Sebastian Copeland and this, unfortunately, is my broadcast partner, Jack Cohen.

Cohen: Can you remind me why in the world we came to Kansas, Seabass? This town is more boring than you on a Saturday night.

Copeland:Kansas City is the heart of America, Jack, and it's a wonderful city. And it's host to a world title contest tonight!

Cohen: This town isn't worth a defense of any title, let alone a title as prestigious as our world championship, but at least these hicks are the right type to be behind that moron, the ex-champion, Steamboat Ricky.

Copeland: Now, Jack, Steamboat Ricky is a distinguished athlete and a true champion! That match is our main event, but we've got action all night- stay tuned for your opening contest!

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

10,000 Fist by Disturbed hits the PA system and blares throughout the entire arena. Walking to each beat of the music Rush emerges out through the backstage curtain methodically massaging the palms of his hands. A black WZCW T-Shirt hugs his frame and match his solid black trucks. He pauses at the top of the ramp and looks around the arena at the WZCW fans. He lets out an scream of intensity and beats his chest like King Kong before grabing his right forearm with his left hand and raises it above his head in his signature pose. He begins to make his way down the ramp to the cheers of the live audience. Some can be seen making the same pose Rush just made. He makes one complete revolution of the ring before climbing up the stairs and walking along the outside of the ring to the middle. He poses once again as the fan’s cameras create a strobe light effect inside the arena. He steps over the top rope and walks to the center of the ring before removing his shirt and throwing to a lucky fan.

Harrys: Introducing first, weighing in at 361 pounds, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Rush!

"The Great Milenko" by ICP hits the PA system and the lights go out. After a minute the lights turn back on and Milenko is behind his opponent.

Harrys: And his opponent, from the Dark Carnival, weighing in at 200 pounds, Milenko!

With both competitors now in the ring, the bell rings, and the match begins. Milenko instantly, almost like a reflex, charges at Rush. Milenko shoulder blocks Rush, but it barely phases Rush. Milenko goes for a shoulder block again, but this time it does cause Rush to stagger a bit. As Milenko quickly attempts to go for a third shoulder block, Rush has had enough. Before Milenko’s shoulder can make contact with Rush’s body, Rush stops Milenko’s charge towards him, and spinebuster’s Milenko to the mat. Rush decides to quickly go for a pin, but it only gets a 2 count. Rush quickly gets off Milenko and goes to the second rope. Rush launches himself off the second rope and attempts to land a leg drop on Milenko, but Milenko quickly rolls out of the way towards the corner that Rush jumped off of. As Milenko starts to get himself up, Rush gets up almost at the exact same time.

Copeland: Man every time I see Rush his speed still amazes me, the way he got up at the same time as Milenko after that leg drop was very impressive.

Cohen: Milenko got up slow on purpose!

As Milenko is now on his feet, so is Rush. Rush quickly charges at Milenko, but Milenko is ready. As Rush is about to charge into Milenko, Milenko drop toe holds Rush into the turnbuckle.

Cohen: See? Told you. All part of Milenko’s plan.

Rush lands face first hard. Rush slumps down off the turnbuckle, and onto the mat. Milenko begins to stomp on Rush’s upper chest non stop, then drags him with all his strength to the center of the ring and goes for a pin. It only gets a two count. Milenko drops to his knees and begins to punch Rush’s head viciously with a psychotic look on his face. After landing a good few punches, Milenko goes to the top of the turnbuckle , and jumps off into a elbow drop hitting Rush right on the chest. Without getting up, Milenko just lays on Rush for the cover, but again. It only gets a 2 count. Rush holds his chest, showing he might be in considerable pain.

Copeland: Rush might have really injured something after all those stomps and the elbow drop, but it’s gonna take a lot more then that to finish Rush.

A frustrated look comes over Milenko’s face, he quickly gets off from Rush and try’s to drag him. Using all his strength, Milenko manages to drag Rush to the turnbuckle, and place him back first against it. Milenko precedes to throw repeated punches at Rush’s head while he’s against the turnbuckle. After a good number of punches, Milenko paces himself back slowly with a devilish smile on his smile. He pats his leg and begins to charge at rush.

Cohen: Milenko has that look on his face. Haha, Rush is in trouble now.

Milenko charges at rush with a Bicycle kick, but Rush moves out of the way with the help of the ropes, making Milenko’s leg crash into the turn buckle. As Milenko drops to one knee cause of the pain in his other leg, Rush take’s advantage of this, and big boots the downed Milenko across the face. Without giving Milenko a second to recover, Rush picks up Milenko and Irish whips him into the corner, then charges at him with a Big Splash, and lands. As Milenko is about to slump off the turnbuckle, Rush Irish whips Milenko again, but this time to the opposite turnbuckle. Rush begins to charge at Milenko again, but Milenko with a amazing show of resilience manages to raise himself on top of the turnbuckle and Jumps off from the turnbuckle with a clothesline, but Rush was ready for this, and Kicks Milenko in the gut in mid air, making Milenko flop onto the ground. Rush quickly climbs the top turnbuckle as fast as he can, and hits a moonsault!

Copeland: It’s over, it has to be.

Cohen: Don’t doubt Milenko’s resilience !

Without even lifting himself off, Rush stays on on top of Milenko for the pin, getting one, two, and three!

Harrys: Here is your winner, Rush!

We're backstage as WZCW World Heavyweight Champion, Everest, is entering the arena. He has a confident look on his face as he carries his title over his shoulder and an extra walking behind with his bag. Johnny Klamor comes over and tries to interview him

Klamor: Everest, you must be excited and nervous to be competing in your first...

Everest waves him off.

Klamor: Come on Everest, you must be hyped tonight. A title defence, new show starting tomorrow.

Everest: A show I was left off and having a lower title defended in its Main Event!

They arrive outside Everest's locker room

Klamor: Maybe so, but you must be...

Everest: Look, Klamor. I've said what I had to say about tonight earlier this week and the last thing THE World Heavyweight Champion needs right now is an old timer interviewing me. Excuse but I have to get ready for what will be the greatest defence of my second reign as YOUR top man.

Everest enters his locker room with the extra in follow. Klamor's looks on.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The lights go out with the lights flashing, Zander Young comes out to a round of applause. He walks to the ring slowly and gives out Hi 5s to the crowd and then slides into the ring.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Glasglow, Scotland, weighing in at 235 pounds, Zander Young!

Copeland: Zander Young is looking to go one on one with Frankie Smith tonight. They’re becoming quite use to each other. If we go back to Meltdown 23, these two fought one on one, with no repercussions.

Meltdown 23 highlight
Zander pins Frankie and the two shake hands afterwards

Cohen: But yet Seabass, you say that and coming into Meltdown 25, that respect didn’t last long when they teamed up against TradeMark Productions, it just shows that the Scottish and Irish should never mix in the same room, not to say a team!

Meltdown 25 highlight
David Cougar covers Young. Smith makes an attempt to break the count but TM sees it and hits the intruding Smith with a scissor kick which allows the pin to go 1…2…3.

Smith pushes Young. Young mouths off at Smith and pushes him back harder, causing Young to fall to the floor. Young looks at Smith and rolls out of the ring. Smith stands alone in the ring as Young makes his way up the ramp, shaking his head in the process.

Copeland: But hopefully these two can get what’s brewing between them out of their system tonight here on Meltdown 26. Strangely enough we had Frankie Smith being attacked by some random during his weekly broadcast of Zander TV.

Cohen: Must have been a fan Seabass!

‘In Too Deep’ by Sum 41 plays throughout the arena. Zander comes out through the curtain walks down the entrance ramp, shaking his arms and looking at the crowd. He stops and stares deeply at Zander who’s standing in the corner, waiting for Frankie to enter the ring. Frankie slides under the ropes and climbs the turnbuckle. He looks at the crowd once more and then points the gun symbol towards Zander.

Harrys: His opponent, from Dublin, Ireland, weighing in at 238 pounds, Frankie Smith!

Frankie climbs down and the referee signals the bell to start the match, where Zander and Frankie both begin to circle each other, moving slowly but hesitantly closer to each other. They finally lock up, it’s pretty even as neither are giving in, then Frankie will full force pushes Zander back into the turnbuckle and starts hitting him with rights. The ref warns him to break the hold and reaches a four count before Frankie breaks his hold. Frankie steps back for a moment as Zander recomposes himself and is then hit with an enziguri out of nowhere. Frankie then picks Zander up and irish whips him against the rope and catches him with a Neckbreaker, Zander begins to hold him head.

Copeland: Frankie’s not holding back any offense on Zander here

Cohen: He’s determined Seabass, not letting Zander get an attack going.

Frankie picks up Zander again, signalling he’s going to repeat the same move again, but Zander starts hitting him in the abs, freeing Frankie’s grasp on him and then runs against the ropes and hits Frankie with a dropkick taking Frankie off his feet to a big pop. Zander gets up first and Irish whips Frankie, picking him on his shoulders and slamming him with a Samoan drop.

Cohen: I’m pretty certain the Samoans will take offence to a Scot doing that.

Copeland: You're quite the diplomat, Jack!

Zander sees an opportunity and goes for the Lionsault but Frankie gets his knees up and Zander lands right on top of them, hurting his ribs. Frankie picks Zander up and drags him by the hair into the corner, hitting some rights again. He then wraps his arms around Zander and hits a huge belly-to-belly suplex out of the corner. Zander holds his back in pain as Frankie starts to climb the turnbuckle, facing away from the ring, looking to hit the Moonsault, but as the ref moves closer, Zander swings his leg out to trip the ref who falls onto the room and Frankie gets crotched onto of the top turnbuckle.

Cohen: I always said that the refs here have bad vision and now Frankie’s at a disadvantage here!

Zander slowly gets up while Frankie recovers himself and turns to face the ring again. Suddenly Frankie gets a rush of adrenaline and runs up to the turnbuckle, using the second pad to hit a step-up enziguri on the Celtic Destroyer, who stays on top of the turnbuckle dazed and confused. Zander moves back to the turnbuckle and turns around, placing Frankie on his right shoulder, he then runs carrying Frankie and slamming to the mat with a pump handled slam. He gets up and signals that the end is near and locks the Spiral Staircase on Frankie, who is writhing in pain. Frankie, tries to reach the ropes but he’s too far away, screaming in agony, he has no other choice but to tap. The crowd cheer for Zander's victory!

Harrys: The winner of this match as a result of a submission, Zander Young!

Copeland: The Celtic Destroyer has been conquered this time by Zander once again. Frankie tried but had no other choice but to tap, but I’m sure this is far from over.

Zander celebrates by standing on the turnbuckles signalling appreciation to the fans. Frankie gets out of the ring and grabs a steel chair, he gets back in and lays Zander out and then stands over Zander’s fallen body staring down at him, shaking his head.

Cohen: You’re right there Seabass, this one is far from over!

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones hits the sound system as Carmen Bratchny walks out from behind the apron, and makes his way down to the ring with a solemn look on his face while the fans give Carmen a sympathetic pop. He walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, walking over to the opposite corner and awaits his opponent.

Harrys: Introducing first, hailing from Moscow, Russia, he stands 6' 3” and weighs in at 230 lbs, Carmen Bratchny!

Mr. Ouija 2 by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony immediately hits the sound system and the lights go out. White light begins flickering as Ty Burna appears from behind the apron, the Eurasian Championship Belt wrapped around his waist. As he walks slowly down the ramp, the fans let Ty hear it, with boos cascading from the crowd. He walks up the steel steps and enters the ring, kneeling in the middle of the ring before pulling the hood back from his face. He stands up and moves over to his corner, placing his Ouija Scroll gently on the ground. He takes off his vest and hoodie and drops it on the ground outside the ring, and hands the ref his Eurasian belt.

Harrys: And his opponent, from parts unknown, he stands 6'3” and weigh in at 235 lbs, he is the new Eurasian Champion, Ty Burna!

Copeland: This should be a great match up. We have the new Eurasian Champion Ty Burna taking on Carmen Bratchny. I hope Carmen can focus on this match after the loss of Swindle

Cohen: I don't think Bratchny has a chance in hell tonight Copeland. Any normal night I would put my money on him, but he just doesn't seem to have his thoughts on this match. That can be dangerous, especially against the Eurasian Champion.

The bell rings and the two lock up in the center of the ring. Bratchny brings Ty down into a headlock but Ty quickly reverses the headlock into an arm bar. He backs Bratchny into the corner, releasing the arm bar and punches Bratchny in the head. Bratchny covers up as the ref warns Ty, starting the 5 count. Ty backs up at the count of 4 and motions for Bratchny to exit the corner. Bratchny obliges and they lock up once more, Bratchny with another headlock. Ty backs him into the rope and sends him running to the opposite rope. Bratchny comes flying back and hits Ty with a clothesline, and hitting another when Ty bounces back up. With Ty down Bratchny lets out a feral like scream and the crowd pops for him.

Copeland: Well if there was any doubt before the match, Bratchny has wiped it away and he looks fired up.

Cohen: We have a lot of match left Copeland, save your inspirational speech until he actually finishes the job.

Ty gets up off the ground and has an angered look on his face. Bratchny rushes forward and attempts another clothesline but Ty ducks and hooks Bratchny's arm and drops him down with a Reverse STO. Bratchny sits up but gets a kick to the back of the neck for his efforts. Ty drags Bratchny up and attempts a Russian Legsweep, but Bratchny blocks and hit his own Russian Legsweep!. Bratchny drags Ty to his feet and throws him into the corner, and hits a Big Boot in the corner. He climbs to the second turnbuckle and raises his fist, looking out towards the crowd. He begins throwing punches into Ty as the crown begins counting to the punches. At 9 Ty pushes Bratchny off of him and walks out from the corner, but is hit by a huge Spear by Bratchny. Bratchny goes for the cover 1.....2.....kickout by Ty. Bratchney immediately follows up with a sleeper hold, adding a body scissors to it as well. Ty's face is a wall of pain as Bratchny wrenches back, stretching the neck and back. Bratchny continues tightening the pressure as it appears Ty is fading fast.

Copeland: Ty looks like he's fading fast, Bratchny is poised to pick up the win via submission

Cohen: Shut it Copeland, we know this is nothing more than Ty playing possum

As Ty's eyes begin to glaze over, he rolls onto his stomach, and struggles to get to a kneeling position. Bratchny continues to pull back on his neck, but Ty gets to his feet. He runs backwards and slams Bratchny back first into the turnbuckle, causing Bratchny to release the hold. Ty drops down to one knee and Bratchny slumps against the turnbuckle. Bratchny charges Ty but gets caught with a kick to the gut, followed by a open palm strike to the face, and gets dropped by a spinning heel kick. Ty goes for the cover. 1...2....kickout by Bratchny. Ty is slow to get up, and braces himself against the rope. Bratchny gets to his feet but eats a running high knee. Ty bounces off the rope and nails a HUGE knee drop right across the throat. Bratchny squirms on the ground, holding his throat while Ty signals for the Ouija Flame. Bratchny again gets to his feet and Ty lifts him up into a torture rack position but Bratchny squirms out and hits a thunderous DDT. Both men are down as the ref begins the 10 count.
1............2................3......

Copeland: What a reversal by Bratchny, he was able to avoid the Ouija Flame there.

Cohen: I think Bratchny has some luck on his side tonight Copeland, but it will run out.

Copeland: And the count is to 7, neither man is moving.

7.......Both men begin to stir and slowly start dragging themselves to their feet. 8......Ty is up to one knee as Bratchny uses the ropes. 9.....Both men are up at the count of nine. They stumble towards each other and start trading bombs, the crowd popping for Bratchny when he connects, and boos when Ty connects. Bratchny gains the upper hand and sends Ty into the ropes, Ty attempts a clothesline, but Bratchny ducks and connects with a big time Spinebuster! Ty is on the ground gasping for air as Bratchny goes for the cover. 1....2.....no, Ty kicks out at 2 and half! Bratchny begins to show frustration as he picks Ty up and signals for The Petrov Driver. He drags Ty to his feet and hooks his arms, and arches back, but Ty lands on his feet! Ty quickly frees his arms and catches Bratchny in the Dragon Sleeper!. Ty pulls back, stretching Bratchny out, causing him to scream out in pain. He's no where near the ropes and Bratchny begins fading quickly, his arms dropping to his sides and his eyes glazing over. The crowd gets behind Bratchny as the ref checks on him, and lifts his arm up, it drops. He lifts the arm up once more and it drops. He lifts it a third and final time but Bratchny catches his arm mid fall and forms a fist, slowly pumping it into the air and reaches down, able to break the body scissors. He makes his way to one knee, throwing an elbow into Ty's stomach. He continues until Ty breaks the hold. Ty quickly rushes Bratchny and attempts another clothesline but Bratchny ducks and throws a kick at Ty. Ty catches his foot but is immediately hit with a hard Enziguri.

Copeland: These two have put on quite a show tonight Cohen. I wonder how much either of them have left.

Cohen: This match has been a test of stamina for both these men Copeland, but I think my boy Ty Burna is coming out on top.

Both men struggle to their feet once more, Bratchny taking control of the match with calculated strikes. Ty tries to cover up but gets pushed into the corner. Bratchny whips Ty to the other corner and then rushes towards Ty. Ty halts him as he gets his leg up at the last second, knocking Bratchny back. Ty lifts himself up to the second turnbuckle and as Bratchny turns around, Ty is able to connect with a flying roundhouse kick, knocking Bratchny to the ground. Ty quickly capitalizes and drags Bratchny to his feet and lifts him up for the Ouija Flame. Bratchny starts elbowing Ty in the side of the head, but it doesn't seem to fade and Ty drops him down, connecting with the Ouija Flame. Ty covers. 1...2.......3. The ref signals for the bell.

Here is your winner, Ty Burna!

Copeland: What a great match up between these two. Ty has really shown us something here defeating a former World title contender. It has to be devastating to Bratchny not being able to pick up the win here tonight.

Cohen: Ty continues to impress me Copeland, and this just continues to show the dominance that he has brought to the WZCW. I look for him to continue this impressive streak of his.

Ty gets up from the pin as the ref hands him his belt and raises his hand in victory. Bratchny slowly gets up and slams his fist down onto the ground in frustration. Ty stands over Bratchny, with malicious intent in his eyes, but instead allows him up. He extends his hand forward to offer a handshake. Bratchny considers it for a moment before finally shaking his hand. Ty exits the ring as Bratchny receives a loud pop from the crowd.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The Leaving Song Part 2 by AFI begins as Ace David makes his way out from behind the apron. He has a huge confident smile on his face and his WZCW Tag Team title across his shoulder. He stops midway down the ramp and kneels down, holding his arms out wide. He stands and makes his way into the ring, standing on the second turnbuckle and raises his Tag Team Belt up.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Brisbane, Australia, he stands 187 cm tall and weighs in at 105 kg, he is one half of the WZCW Tag Team Champions, Ace David!

The National Anthem plays as USA is out next, stopping at the top of the ramp and saluting the American Flag on the Titan Tron. He makes his way down the ramp but stops midway and does a few military pushups. Entering the ring he makes a stop at each corner and salutes the fans.

Harrys: And his opponent from The Purple Mountains Majesty, he stands 6’4” and weighs in at 257 lbs, USA!

Copeland: USA needs to have an impressive performance here tonight, especially if Titus retains his Elite X Title in the main event of Ascension, USA will have a shot at the gold at Ascension next week.

Cohen: Shut it Copeland, USA may have claim to a title shot, but we know Lars Reidar will destroy Titus in that steel cage match. USA may be looking past this match and take Ace David for granted.

The referee signals for the bell as USA looks for a tie up in the middle of the ring. Ace slips out of the ring to a shower of boos as he has his hands on his sides. USA stands in the middle of the ring and salutes the crowd to a plethora of cheers. Ace slides back into the ring and finally ties up. USA uses his strength advantage to gain a headlock, backing up into the rope but Ace sends him to the other corner. USA hits a shoulder tackle as Ace quickly gets up and bounces off the rope again, only to eat a big clothesline from USA. USA stomps away at Ace before picking up and hitting a body slam on him. He bounces off the rope and misses with the legdrop as Ace rolls out of the way. Ace now on his feet connects with a bicycle kick to USA and quickly follows up with an ankle lock attempt. USA kicks him away but eats a spinning back fist from Ace.

Copeland: And Ace David has taken control of this match up, it looks like he will use his speed advantage to keep USA off balance.

Cohen: Like I said, USA is too focused on a possible Elite X title shot and is forgetting that Ace is as good as advertised.

Ace with a fist drop on the downed USA and goes for the cover, 1….2….no kickout by USA. Ace pulls USA to his feet and connects with a few punches. He sends USA into the ropes, but misses with the flying forearm smash. USA quickly connects with an atomic drop, and pulls Ace’s legs out from under him. He signals to the crowd and catapults Ace into the corner. USA follows up pulling Ace from the corner before sitting on the top turnbuckle. He connects with a big Tornado DDT. USA goes for the cover, and only gets a 2 count. USA locks on a chin lock, focusing on wearing down Ace. Ace fights back however and gets to his feet, throwing a few elbows in USA’s midsection. He jumps up and connects with high knee to USA. USA is stunned and Ace follows up quickly with a Dragon Whip, and goes for the pin. 1…2…no only a 2 count.

Ace looks frustrated and waits for USA to get up and attempts an enzuigiri but USA ducks, picking Ace up and dropping him with a Samoan Drop. USA follows up with a Patriot Missle, the Impaler DDT as Ace looks to be out. USA goes for the cover but gets rolled up by Ace, but he only gets a 2 count. Back to their feet Ace goes for a flying forearm smash again, but USA catches him midair and plants him with a gutwrench sitdown powerbomb, a variation of his Bunker Buster. USA picks Ace up and delivers the Rocket’s Red Glare. He quickly goes for the pin, 1….2…..3! It’s over the ref signals for the bell.

Copeland: Impressive victory for USA tonight Seabass, can he continue this momentum if he indeed receive that Elite X title shot?

Cohen: He won’t even have the opportunity Copeland, Lars is walking out of Ascension with the Elite X title, and any hopes USA had of having a second chance at it.

USA gets up and gets onto the second turnbuckle, raising his arm up in victory before saluting the crowd. Ace quietly slips out of the ring with his Tag Title in hand as he retreats up the ramp, holding his midsection.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

“10s” by Pantera plays out as Celeste walks toward the ring, ignoring the crowd, absorbed in herself. Celeste leaps up onto the ring apron, and grabs the top rope. Celeste then slingshots herself over the top rope and into the ring. Celeste will then taunt the crowd at the corners, and patiently waits for her opponent to enter the ring.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Peterburgs, Russia, The Submission Queen, Celeste Crimson!

Copeland: Celeste is taking on one of the newcomers, in the form of Blade, tonight. Interestingly enough, Blade seems to have a bit of an interest in the Submission Queen, wouldn’t you say?

Cohen: Sounds like the Zero Hunter has found his prey for tonight. But like it stands for, him beating Celeste, his chances are zero!

“Bliss” by Muse echoes throughout the arena, Blade walks out on to the stage to dark red flashing light. He stops on the stage, looks around at the crowd for a few moments, then bends his right elbow at a 45 degree angle, palm facing upwards and slowly moving his arm upwards while tensing his muscles, posing to the crowd. He then quickly draws a slashing motion and begins to walk down the ramp

Her opponent, from Dublin, Ireland, weighing in at 235 pounds, Blade!

Blade walks down the ramp, steps up onto the apron, gets into the ring and does his taunt again on the second rope of the turnbuckle, Celeste does not look impressed. The ref signals for the bell and we get under way. Celeste challenges Blade to a lockdown, of which he obliges, Blade manages to use his height and weight to hold Celeste in a head lock, only for Celeste to back up to the ropes and use them to push the lock off. She catches him on the return and throws him with a belly-to-belly suplex, Blade looks shocked given the strength of his opponent He gets up again only for Celeste to lock around his waist for the same move, but Blade reverses it with a belly-to-belly of his own.

Cohen: Looks like a bit of “I say, You say” is going on here

Celeste gets up again, only to turn around and be met by a clothesline from Blade, she gets up again, another clothesline, she gets up again and as Blade goes for a third clothesline, the Violent Reactor does a backflip kick taking down the Zero Hunter. Blade gets back up and Celeste starts using a combination of low kicks and high elbows which is proving a bit much, she then steps back and his a Shuffle Side kick, which gets a series of boos from the fans. Blade gets up again, only for Celeste to grab a lock onto him, but Blade reverses and picks her up a suplex, but he has her held up high, delaying the drop, he walks around for moment to mock off his strength to the crowd, who give a mix reaction, he then slams her back to earth.

Blade picks up Celeste, and irish whips her, on the return, he catches her by the throat and picks her up in a chokeslam, but she reverses into an Evenflow DDT. She gets up to lock the Omoplata on Blade who starts to scream in pain

Cohen: This is the end, tap Blade, save your arm!

Copeland: He’s not going to quit now Jack, but the pain must be excruciating!

As Celeste continues to hold on, Blade reaches out for the ropes but they look far away. Suddenly, Mr. Baller comes running down, and Celeste breaks the hold, looking at Baller, questioning what’s doing as well as the ref. She goes up to him as he’s standing on the ringside and hits him with an elbow. She turns around to find Blade is back up and he hits The Halo. Blade covers Celeste 1…....2……3

Harrys: Here is your winner, Blade!

Blade gets up and does his signature taunt to the crowd, while standing on the rampway is Baller who gives Blade an unimpressed look.

Copeland: Celeste had this match won. Had it not been for Mr. Baller, Blade would have probably tapped.

Cohen: This was a damn steal. But why did Baller help Blade of all people? Even after the words he said

Copeland: I don’t know Jack, but it’s definitely the start of something for sure!

Celeste exits the ring, and notices Baller, who starts running off as Celeste follows pursuit in a power walk. Blade continues to pose to the crowd.

---

Backstage, Becky Serra is with former world's champion, Steamboat Ricky.

Becky: Ricky, tonight you've chosen to enact your rematch clause for the world's title. Is this a wise decision, just recently removed from your brutal match with Everest and Carmen Brachny?

Ricky looks at her with a crooked smile.

Ricky: Wise? Is it a wise decision, Becky? No, it's not a wise decision, but that title is the most important thing to me, to the fans, to WZCW, to everyone who loves this business. That title can't be around the waist of someone like Everest for a minute longer than is necessary. I have to spare WZCW from Everest, and I have to do it...tonight.

Becky: Are you afraid Carmen Bratchny might interfere?

Ricky: I feel sorry for Carmen, but I've had way too much training to do for this match to bother with a man who doesn't even like me - a man that tried to take my title. Carmen is too distraught to try anything tonight, especially with a match already scheduled for him.

Becky: Well, Ricky, the fans will be behind you in this contest. Good luck!

Ricky gives another crooked smile and then walks away from the camera as the screen fades to black.

Suddenly, the lights flicker out and die. The silence that descends on the crowd is barred only by the occassional murmurs and the small illuminations by those with lighters to hand. A few seconds later, a long drawn out tone is heard as the big screen flashes up with a red glowing line. An eerily familiar voice can be heard over the quiet but steady droning of the tone.

Voice: "Some men are born great, some men achieve greatness, and some men have greatness thrust upon them. Some men however, some men have all three..."

The long drawn out tone suddenly changes into a steady rhythm of beeps, and the line on the screen begins to spike in tune. It becomes evident what we are looking at is a representation of a heart monitor. Behind the beeping, the steady thumping of a heartbeat can now be heard, and the voice speaks again.

Voice: "He is not the future of this business. He is the Dawn of a new era entirely. He will not change the landscape; he will remake it into any image he desires.

... That I desire."

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! It will be contested under hardcore rules, and it is for the WZCW Mayhem Championship!

Harrys: Introducing first, weighing in at 213 pounds, from Winnipeg, Canada, accompanied by Milenko, he is “Showtime” David Cougar!

“Ladies and Gentlemen” by Saliva hits and Cougar makes his way out. He smiles arrogantly and poses for the crowd. He points to the back and Milenko comes out, grinning and limping slightly, carrying a barbed wire bat. Cougar and Milenko make their way to the ring, where Cougar enters and continues posing. Milenko stands outside holding the bat.

Copeland: I don’t like the look of this, Jack…

Harrys: And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds, from Cleveland, Ohio, the WZCW Mayhem Champion, Drake Callahan!

“Be Free” hits and Drake Callahan makes his way out, belt over his shoulder and full beer in hand. He takes a gaze at the ring, shrugs, chugs the beer, throws the bottle into the crowd, and charges the ring!

The bell rings as the action gets underway, Drake standing out and ducking underneath Cougar’s clothesline. He rebounds off the ropes and dodges underneath again, rebounds back, and this time, flies into Cougar with the Mayhem belt in hand, braining him with the title! He covers Cougar quickly and gets one, two…but the count is broken up by Milenko, who smashes the barbed wire bat over Drake’s back!

Copeland: And now we see the real plan here! This isn’t going to be a match – it’s going to be a beatdown!

Cougar slowly stumbles up as Drake writhes in pain and Milenko gloats. Drake staggers to his knees and Milenko smashes the belt over his back once again. Cougar rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair, grinning arrogantly, as Milenko keeps working Drake over with the bat. Cougar tells Milenko to lay off and motions with his hand, taunting Drake to get up. Drake somehow staggers up as the crowd jeers Cougar and Milenko relentlessly. Cougar smashes Drake across the head with a steel chair as Milenko laughs. Cougar points at Drake and then at the top rope. Milenko holds down Drake as Cougar ascends to the top rope. There, he performs a pose for the crowd, before leaping off the ropes with The Final Act.

He covers Drake and easily gets, one, two, and three.

Cohen: Brilliant move! Why not use a partner in a hardcore match, it’s perfectly legal!

Copeland: It might be hardcore, but there’s still a spirit of competition to be upheld, and it’s been torn apart tonight! This is a miscarriage of justice!

Cougar stands up and celebrates as Milenko pulls Drake onto his knees and delivers a quick Murder-Go-Round, which seems to knock Drake unconscious. For good measure, Milenko lays into him with the bat some more and kicks Drake out of the ring. EMTs rush to ringside where they begin to place Drake into a stretcher.

Harrys: Ladies and gentlemen…here is your winner, and the new Mayhem Champion…”Showtime” David Cougar…

Cougar celebrates and grabs the mic from Harrys as he holds his new belt. The crowd boos relentlessly.

Cougar: Now, now, I made it very clear what my intentions were in this match. I was going to use Milenko’s help to win and gain the title.

The crowd boos. Milenko has now acquired a mic from outside.

Milenko: That’s right…and I upheld my part of the bargain…now, Cougar, if you don’t mind…yours…

Cougar smiles and lifts the mic.

Cougar: Of course, Milenko, our little promise. You help me win, I give you the title, and I focus on bigger pursuits like our friend Mr. Burna.

Milenko nods.

Milenko: If you’ll just hand me my belt, then…

Cougar holds the belt out and takes a long look at it. He smiles and laughs in a derisive way. He proffers to the belt to Milenko, who reaches out for the belt.

But, suddenly, Cougar snatches the belt away!

Milenko looks angry as he grabs his mic.

Milenko: What the hell are you thinking, Cougar?

Cougar smiles cockily and lifts his mic.

Cougar: I’m thinking Milenko…I’m thinking maybe, the Show could use a little bit of hardcore.

Milenko looks quizzical as he raises his mic, but he never gets a chance to speak, as Cougar BRAINS him with the title belt! The crowd doesn’t know what to do, as they hate both men, so they only keep booing. Cougar, however, raises his belt like a conquering hero as he locks in the Commercial Break on Milenko, who writhes in pain as Cougar holds his Mayhem title belt. He derisively lets Milenko out of the hold, who angrily rolls out of the ring, half stumbling, half crawling to the back. Cougar holds his belt triumphantly in the ring as the show goes to commercial.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship!

"Over the Seas" by Alestorm hits as Steamboat Ricky walks down the ramp, carrying a cooler of his signature non-alcoholic grog. He’s dressed in his usual outfit. He high fives his adoring. Polly rests on his right shoulder giving him advice. He then enters the ring, running around in circles for awhile to allow his cape to float in the breeze.

Harrys: Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 260 pounds, from Tortuga, he is the former WZCW World Heavyweight Champion…Steamboat Ricky!

'Supernova goes Pop' by Powerman 5000 hits as orange laser lights shoot back and forth across the blank big screen that then flashes the words “Are you Ready to Go” The lights go out for a second and when they kick back on Everest stands in the middle of the ramp, derisively eyeing the crowd as he welcomes their boos. He makes his way to the ring slowly, staring only at Steamboat Ricky as he raises his title belt.

Harrys: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 205 pounds, he is the WZCW Heavyweight Champion of the World…EVEREST!

Everest presents his title belt arrogantly as the fans boo him relentlessly. He hands the belt to referee and the bell rings as the contest begins.

The opponents circle each other for a moment before staring each other down. They move to the center of the ring and lock up. Ricky forces Everest over to the ropes and the ref calls for a clean break, which Ricky gives. Ricky backs up and the two begin to circle again. The two lock up in the center again and this time Everest locks in a side headlock on Ricky. Ricky struggles but he can’t break the headlock. Everest starts to move toward the ropes but Ricky pushes him, rebounding him off the ropes and catching him with an elbow on the return.

Copeland: A slow, technical start to this world title contest.

Everest rolls out of the ring for a minute as he takes a break. Ricky taunts him from inside the ring and eventually Everest makes his way back in, where the two circle each other again. In the center of the ring Ricky catches Everest with a punch and knocks him to his knees and keeps punching him until he’s down on the ground, where Ricky locks in a front facelock. Everest keeps struggling and eventually gets over to the ropes, where he rolls out of the ring again. Ricky taunts from the inside as Everest slowly returns to the ring. The two trade shots in the center of the ring and Ricky gets Everest over to the corner, where Ricky beats Everest down into a sitting position. Ricky charges the corner and hits a knee into Everest’s head. Ricky quickly throws Everest down to the mat and locks in an armbar.

Copeland: Fascinating strategy from Ricky here – it’s as if he’s trying to prove he can wrestler as technically sound as Everest can!

Cohen: And he’s full of it! It’s only a matter of time before Everest gets the better of him, like the true master he is.

Everest gets a rope break and rolls out of the ring yet again. This time, however, Ricky follows to the outside and pursues Everest. Ricky catches Everest with a big right and then slams his face into the guardrails. He keeps punching Everest and then gets back into the ring, where Everest slowly follows. While Everest’s head is on the bottom rope, though, Ricky drops a big leg on him and Everest falls out of the ring. He staggers back in and as his head is over the top rope, Ricky forces his throat down onto it and Everest falls to the mat. Everest stands up on the ring apron, Ricky hooks him…and suplexes hi into the ring! Ricky covers Everest but gets only two. Ricky backs up as Everest gets up, and as Ricky goes after him again, Everest rakes his eyes!

Cohen: Ha! I told you he’d get the better of him.

Everest hits a few punches on Ricky and forces his head between the ropes, where he uses the ropes to choke Ricky. He pulls him out and keeps a headlock on. Ricky punches his way out and gets the better of Everest. After a few punches, Everest is down, and Ricky gets in a catapult set up…and launches Everest over the top rope to the floor! As Ricky goes for a piledriver on the floor, Everest reverses it and backdrops him right onto the steel steps! Everest follows up with a few slams of Ricky’s face into the steel steps. Everest rolls into the ring to break the ref’s count and returns outside, where he punches Ricky a few times and forces him back into the ring. Everest kicks Ricky in the shins several times before letting Ricky up. Everest punches Ricky until he’s in the corner, where he slams his face into the turnbuckle. The two engage in a slugfest that Everest gets the better of, putting Ricky into another corner with more punches. Everest locks in a waistlock, looking for a German suplex, but Ricky reverses it into an armbar attempt…but Everest rolls out, kicks Ricky in the head, gets behind, and locks in a cloverleaf!

Copeland: A dangerous submission hold locked in that could cost Ricky the match!

Ricky, however, powers out of the hold and staggers up, where he’s met with a clothesline from Everest. He covers Ricky but gets only two. Everest climbs to the top rope, looking for his diving headbutt, but as he flies off, Ricky rolls out of the way, and Everest misses completely! Ricky and Everest both get up at the same time, and Ricky kicks Everest in the gut, and nails a double-arm DDT! He covers Everest, but gets only two! Ricky gets up and signals to the crowd that he wants the Blunderbuss! Everest staggers up, Ricky kicks him in the gut, and…NAILS the Blunderbuss! Everest falls back, and Ricky covers Everest, getting one…two…

But suddenly, Lars Reidar is in the ring, and he kicks Ricky square in the head! The count is broken as the ref immediately signals a DQ, but this isn’t over, as Vengeance has a steel chair with him. He goes to town on Ricky, beating the spit out of him. Everest is still out on the ground as Reidar simply demolishes Ricky. Reidar lays the chair out on the mat as he pulls Ricky up, elevates him, and plants his head into the chair with the Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

Copeland: Disgusting! Ricky had his title won, and this Pearl Harbor job by Reidar just cost him the match!

Cohen: Now, don’t go on one of your tangents, Seabass! Reidar has his reasons for this, I’m sure!

Reidar picks up the chair again as Everest staggers to his feet. Everest grins a little bit as he realizes what happened, and turns to gloat to the crowd. As he turns, however, Reidar charges him and nails him with the steel chair! He stomps all over Everest before elevating him and nailing the Sacrilegious Desecration on him. Ricky and Everest are both knocked out and bleeding as Reidar stands tall in the ring, screaming for a microphone. He gets it and begins to speak.

Reidar: This match…is a TRAVESTY. I am the number one contender…ME! LARS REIDAR! I cannot let this happen…I am the rightful King for a Day, the rightful contender, but what do I get? I get Elite X title matches, I get no name feuds with superheroes…I…get…nothing. I refuse to let anyone have a fair title shot before me. I want – I demand! – a title match at All or Nothing…and if anything besides just that happens, WZCW will be introduced to the worst forms of pain I can unleash. I will destroy the good, the evil, the just, the unjust, everyone, if I don’t get what is mine.

Reidar paces the ring for a moment, then stops.

Reidar: No…I want more than just a title match…I want to know, to prove, to show, that I can beat every one of my adversaries…every challenger…everyone who thinks they can beat me. I want them all in the ring, at the same time, in an elimination match…where I can destroy them all, one…by…one…

Reidar: I want Everest…I want Ricky…I want Bratchny…and I want the sop whose title I will take tomorrow night, I want Titus. Five men, elimination until one man is standing…one man left champion…one man…Lars…Reidar.

Reidar drops the mic and paces angrily around the ring as he waits for some kind of acknowledgment or response. A few tense moments pass, before the unfamiliar music of “Falling On” hits! Suddenly, Chuck Myles is out, laughing as he applauds Reidar in a slightly mocking way.

Cohen: Only an arrogant prick like Chuck Myles would give himself music…he’s just a GM, Seabass!

Myles has a microphone and he begins speaking.

Myles: Lars, old buddy, old pal, look, I like what you’re doing here. I like the get go attitude, you’re taking charge, that’s great. So, hey, look, I can’t let this keep happening, I gotta book the title matches, I gotta let Meltdown rock, I just got my job back, y’know? So, hey, listen, this elimination thing you want, you got it, but I gotta put a little, y’know, a little bit of Chuck Myles flair onto it. I got a guy, great guy, you’ll like him, and he’s a pretty big name in the parts where he comes from, and I want to put him in this match of yours. Ricky, Bratchny, Titus, Everest, that’s great, you get in there, wonderful, we throw in this guy I got, hey, this is main event stuff, yeah?

Reidar stares with cold fury at Myles before picking up his mic,

Reidar: I don’t care who your little mystery man is…I will destroy him as well…I will prove my dominance over any challenger, all at the same time.

Myles grins in a nervous sort of way.

Myles: Great, great, Lars, buddy, I knew you’d like it. Now, hey, how about you come on back here, and we do a little business, yeah? A little contract signing, a little drinking, y’know, the usual business stuff.

Reidar stands silent in the ring as he slowly raises the mic.

Reidar: Myles…you gave me what I needed…now…go away, before I hurt you…

Myles beats a quick retreat, still grinning, to the back as Reidar places one foot above the prone body of Everest, who merely lays there, unconscious, Reidar signifying his future title win at Meltdown goes off the air.
