Ty Burna

Getting Noticed By Management
Ascension 30 said:
Ty moves some of carnage and finds Reynolds underneath table fragments. He rolls him into the ring and goes for the pin, 1.... 2.... Reynolds gets a shoulder up. Ty shakes his head and grabs Reynolds’ arm, going for the Final Séance. Reynolds suddenly bursts to life and wrenches his arm free, quickly rolling up Ty! 1.... 2.... Ty kicks out at the last split second! Ty looks shocked for a moment as he gets up. Reynolds is using the ropes to get up on the other side of the ring. Ty wants to end it, measuring him up for the Consecrated Banishment. Reynolds turns around and Ty goes for his signature kick, but Reynolds ducks it and kicks Ty’s other leg out from under him before hitting a standing Shooting Star Press! Ty clutches his ribs before Reynolds quickly picks him up and quickly hits the Five Star Backbreaker. Reynolds pins Ty, hooking the outside leg, 1.... 2.... Ty kicks out! Reynolds shakes his head in frustration and gets up and goes out onto the apron again. Ty slowly gets up and Reynolds goes for the Ego Crush. He lands on Ty’s shoulders but Ty stops him from hitting the Dragonrana. Reynolds panics and starts punching Ty’s head. Ty stumbles backwards into the corner, and Reynolds sits himself on the top rope. Reynolds hits an Axehandle Smash to the back of Ty’s head, causing Ty to leave forward. Reynolds lifts Ty up for the Ratings Killer off the second rope, but Ty struggles out of it, landing on his feet on the mat. Out of nowhere, Ty hits the Consecrated Banishment! Reynolds falls forward off the top rope and Ty drags him to the centre of the ring before going for the pin, 1.... 2.... 3!

Anderson: Here is your winner, the WZCW Champion, Ty Burna!

Ty leans backwards in the corner as he’s handed his title. He raises it in the air but the celebration is cut short as Showtime Cougar attacks him behind, taking him off his feet and starts to beat him down and shout abuse at him, only for Austin Reynolds to get up and exchange rights with his rival. Showtime tries to Irish whip him but it's quickly countered and the return is received by a dropkick, sending Showtime rolling out of the ring and rolling his chin as he points to Reynolds and Ty who has just got back up. The two competitors stare down at Showtime not before sharing a glance at each other and the World Heavyweight Championship which Ty reclaims and holds as they resume to stare down at Showtime.

Copeland: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Meltdown! Last week on Ascension we saw a classic encounter between Austin Reynolds and Ty Burna.

Cohen: Only Ty's celebration was ended quickly by his nemesis Showtime Cougar who looks to be getting another shot at the title.

Copeland: We're going to hear from Ty's opponent last week as Austin Reynolds presents, the Rating Spike!

Harrys: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome The Ratings Winner...AUSTIN REYNOLDS!!!

As Austin emerges, the crowd pop loudly. He poses at each side of the ramp before making his way from the stage to the ring. As he grabs a mic and prepares to speak, the crowd applaud him warmly. Austin smiles as he raises the mic.

Reynolds: It is an absolute pleasure to be here in front of you all. The last few weeks have been incredible. Kingdom Come 3 was the best show of my career. And last week, I got my ass kicked by the damndest force in WZCW history. And I enjoyed every damn second of it.

That match, being in the ring with that someone that confident in his dominance made me realise what I need to aim for. If I am not among the best, I am not living up to my potential. So here and now, I am announcing that if Austin Reynolds is not in the main event of Kingdom Come 4, then Austin Reynolds will leave WZCW

The crowd oohs at the surprise. But Austin doesn’t seem to show any concern.

I’ve got nearly a year to make it to a level that The Ratings Winner needs to be at. If I can’t prove to the world that I can do this, that I can earn my shot at history, at World Championship gold, then I don’t deserve to be here. So am I risking my career for a pipe dream? We’ll have to see what the future has in store.

For all we know, Ty may still be the World Champion.

A chant of “One More Time” springs up.

I’d like that too. Austin smirks as he acknowledges it.

To that end, I’d like to welcome to the ring at this time, the WZCW World Heavyweight Champion....TY BURNA!!!!

Ty’s entrance gets a massive response from the crowd. As he raises his title, the roof is blown off. Austin applauds in the centre of the ring. Ty slowly makes his way to the ring and gets a mic from ringside.

First things first Ty, I want to say how grateful I am to have faced you.

Ty: Austin, it was my pleasure.

I’m sure you’d agree with me that I hope that it is not the last time we get to face-off.

You know how I operate Reynolds. Anyone that stands in my way will face swift destruction. I look forward to your next effort against me.

And maybe one day, it will be for that title.

Then Austin, I will send you down the path of defeat that countless others have gone down. You already tasted banishment. Are you really desperate for another dose?

Until that time, Ty... Austin offers his hand. Ty shakes it but he is both cautious and hesitatant. The crowd cheer at this mutual resolution until

Showtime arrogantly patrols the top of the stage while two of his greatest adversaries stare on from the ring. He has a mic and addresses the men in the ring.

Showtime: This is sweet guys. Really, this is very touching. Show’s voice is dripping with sarcasm. Austin, you got flattened last week. Why are you coveting that title? You have no right being near that gold! I won the damn Lethal Lottery and I got screwed at Kingdom Come 3! That title is my destiny! I want another shot!

God damnit Cougar who let you out your padded cell?

Austin, stay out of this. Let the big boys talk.

I tire of your constant interruptions Co..

Ty.......the only thing I want to hear from is Yes, that you will agree to face me at Redemption so I can rightfully claim my destiny.

David, you had your chance. If you couldn’t do it at Kingdom Come, what makes you think Redemption will be any different?

Yes or no Ty. It’s not difficult.

The Meltdown theme hits and Chuck Myles makes way out and stands at the top of the entrance ramp alongside David Cougar with a mic in hand.

Guys, guys, guys...why is this so complicated? We are talking about the WZCW World Championship here. I am not going to have this resolved by you bickering in the ring! So as I have the power, the match is made, David Cougar, you will get a chance at Redemption, it’s you vs Ty Burna!!!

The crowd boo at the announcement. Ty nods silently and Cougar smiles widely.

And Austin, you are in that match too! It’s going to be a triple threat match for the World Championship in the main event of Redemption! I expect you guys to blow the ratings out of the sky.

A tremendous roar greets the news. Austin is visibly stunned by the news and immediately Ty is a little defensive towards the man in the ring with him. Austin backs away as Ty lifts his belt above his head. Austin nods his head and leaves the ring. As he reaches the ramp, Showtime runs down and hits a standing Final Act to Austin! Ty sprints from the ring and heads straight for Cougar, he tries to hit Consecrated Banishment but Showtime spots it and sidesteps it. Before Ty can turn to face him, Showtime pushes him off the ramp and he lands chest-first onto the ringside barrier!

Showtime cackles as he backs up the ramp. Backstage personnel come rushing out to assist Ty and Austin. Burna pushes them away and Austin crawls up the ramp with a fierce look on his face as we go to commercial.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Paradise hits and Cruz and Paradyse come out together, grinning. They start walking down the ring, slapping the hands of fans as they go by.

Harrys: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 504 pounds, Paradyse Cruz!

They get into the ring and discuss the game plan as they wait for their opponents. Psychotically deranged hits as Steven Kurtesy emerges and walks to the bottom of the ramp, looking focused.

Harrys: And their opponents, first, weighing in at 235 pounds, Dr. Steven Kurtesy!

Beethoven's 5th hits and Steven Holmes joins Kurtesy at the bottom of the ramp.

Harrys: And his tag team partner, weighing in at 240 pounds, Steven Holmes!

There’s a little tension between the tag partners as Holmes tells Kurtesy not to screw up again. Kurtesy looks irritated as he gets into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and it’s Holmes starting against Cruz. They lock up in the centre of the ring before Cruz quickly hits a headlock takedown and keeps the headlock locked in with Holmes on the mat. Holmes struggles, but manages to get to his knees and hit some elbows, causing Cruz to release the hold. Holmes runs at the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Cruz catches him with a quick dropkick. Holmes goes down andCruz goes for a quick pin as Kurtesy looks on unimpressed, 1.... Kick out by Holmes. Cruz gets his opponent in a wristlock and tags in his partner. Paradyse kicks Holmes in the midsection and takes him over with a Snapmare followed by a quick dropkick to the back of the head. Paradyse goes for another pin, 1... 2.... Kick out by Holmes. Paradyse gets up and goes for a quick Legdrop, but Holmes narrowly avoids it by rolling away. He starts to get up slowly as Paradyse does the same. With both men on their feet, Paradyse runs at Holmes, but Holmes catches him with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Holmes takes a moment to recover before he tags in his partner. Kurtesy gets Paradyse in a headlock to keep him down.

Copeland: This is smart by Kurtesy, he’s slowing the pace of the match

Cohen: Maybe it’ll stop those two pretty boys running around like monkeys...

Kurtesy keeps Paradyse in the headlock, but Paradyse starts to get up. He match to get to his feet and he grabs onto the top rope, but Kurtesy hits a dropkick to his back and Paradyse flies over the top rope to the floor. Kurtesy goes to exit the ring, but Paradyse jumps up onto the steel steps hits a Shuffle Sidekick while Kurtesy is between the ropes. Kurtesy collapses, falling onto the apron and rolling off onto the floor. Paradyse rolls back into the ring and waits for Kurtesy to get to his feet. He finally gets up outside the ring and Paradyse bounces off the ropes and goes for a suicide dive, but Kurtesy dodges and Paradyse hits the crowd barricade! He lies on the floor and Kurtesy rolls into the ring, telling the referee to count him out. Cruz gets off the ring apron and checks on his partner, as Paradyse slowly starts stirring. He manages to pull himself to his feet and roll into the ring as the referee counts 9.

Copeland: How did Paradyse manage to get up from that?!

Cohen: Who cares? I’m enjoying watching him get destroyed.

Kurtesy stalks Paradyse, who is slowly getting back to his feet. Paradyse gets up and Kurtesy locks the Hypnosis! Paradyse flails his arms around, trying to reach the ropes, but Kurtesy pulls him backwards. Paradyse drops to his knees, starting to fade. He goes limp for a brief moment, but suddenly burts back to life with the crowd cheering him on. He gets back to both feet and rolls Kurtesy forward. Both men get up and Kurtesy runs forward, but Paradyse catches him with a Flapjack! The two men get back up again and Kurtesy swings a right hand, but Paradyse ducks under it and kicks Kurtesy in the gut. With Kurtesy bent over, Paradyse runs forward, going for a kneelift, but Kurtesy flips Paradyse over the top rope. Kurtesy walks over to the apron and tries to Suplex Paradyse back in but Paradyse hits Kurtesy with a series of forearm shots. Kurtesy stumbles backwards and Paradyse springboards off the top rope and hits the Crossbody! Both men are down as the crowd are willing Paradyse to make the tag!

Copeland: He has to get to his partner!

Cohen: Go Steven, go!

Both men crawl towards their respective partners. Kurtesy tags in Holmes and across the ring Paradyse tags in Cruz and the crowd explode with cheers. Cruz comes in and takes out Holmes with a clothesline. Holmes gets up and Cruz hits a big dropkick. Holmes stumbles backwards into the ropes, which bounce him forward and Cruz hits a Spinebuster before going for a pin, 1... 2... Kurtesy breaks it up. The referee tries to get Kurtesy out of the ring, but moves the ref out of the way, only to get hit with a double Superkick from Cruz and Paradyse! Kurtesy collapses and rolls out of the ring. Holmes gets up and Paradyse goes to take him down with a clothesline, but Holmes ducks and hits a German Suplex. Paradyse rolls out of the ring and Holmes turns around, and sees Cruz flying at him off the springboard, but Holmes catches him with a High Knee in mid air! Cruz collapses to the mat and Holmes goes for the pin, 1.... 2.... Cruz kicks out! Holmes can’t believe it as he pounds the mat with his fist. He gets up and picks up Cruz before going for the Imperial Impaler, but Cruz counters with a Back Body Drop! Kurtesy makes a blind tag as Holmes gets up and rushes in where he’s caught with a Superkick! Cruz goes for the pin, 1.... 2....3!

Harrys: Here are your winners, Paradyse Cruz!

Copeland: A major upset as Paradyse Cruz has defeated the former World Tag Team Champions!

Cohen: Kurtesy messed up for his team, Holmes had this match well in hand.

The winners embrace in the ring as Holmes stands over Kurtesy, shaking his head. Paradyse Cruz exit the ring and celebrate as they walk back up the entrance ramp. Kurtesy slowly gets to his feet as Holmes stares him down. Kurtesy mouths I'm sorry when suddenly Holmes kicks him in the midsection and drops him down with the Imperial Impaler! The crowd boos loudly as Holmes pulls Kurtesy's head up, a look of anger and rage on Holmes' face.

Holmes: I'm done with you, you're doing nothing but holding me back Kurtesy.

Holmes backs up and hits a vicious knee to the side of Kurtesy's head before standing over his former partner, raising his hand up high into the air.

Copleand: It appears we've seen the last of the Movement finally breaking away. I would have never thought Holmes would do such a thing to Kurtesy.

Cohen: He's sick of relying on others and losing because of it. He's doing the smart thing and severing any ties to that loser Kurtesy.

Holmes turns and exits the ring and walks backwards up the ramp as Kurtesy covers his face and looks down the ramp at Holmes, a look of dejection spreading across his face.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We go backstage as the trainers are checking out Austin Reynolds for injuries. Austin doesn't appear to be thrilled with the doctors mulling around him.

Trainer: Just hold still Austin we need to check and see if you sustained a concussion or not.

Reynolds shoves the trainer away and quickly gets out of his chair. He begins walking away as the trainers rush after him.

Reynolds: Get the hell away from me, Ty doesn't need medical attention, neither do I! Showtime's going to get exactly what's coming to him. There's no way you're not let me compete next week.

Reynolds suddenly runs right into Ty Burna who's holding his midsection ever so slightly, the WZCW World Title draped over his shoulders.

Ty: Go get your medical attention Reynolds.

Reynolds: I don't need it, next thing they'll tell me I"m as messed up in the head as our little tick problem Showtime.

Ty shakes his head and pats Reynolds' shoulder as he walks past.

Ty: No need to be a hero Austin. I don't want any excuses after I crush you and Showtime at Redemption and walk out of their, still World Champion.

Reynolds watches Ty walk past, a focused look on his face. He turns and walks back to the trainer and sits down, slumping in his chair.

Reynolds: Let's get this over with.

We go to commercial.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

"Wake Up" blasts through the speakers and the crowd cheers as Smith emerges from the curtain. He raises his hand to the audience and walks down the ramp.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Washington, D.C., weighing in at 235 pounds... Sam SMITH!

As he rolls underneath the ring, the music switches to "Amaranth" and the lights dim as the crowd begins to boo. After a moment, the lights come back on to reveal Jones standing on the middle of the stage looking directly at Smith.

Harrys: Next, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 227 pounds... Chris JONES!

As Jones gets to ringside, "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" hits the speakers to a big pop and Phoenix smiles as he walks out into the arena. He looks around to the fans before going to the ring.

Harrys: And their opponent, from Heliopolis, weighing in at 213 pounds... PHOENIX!

Copeland: This match should be intriguing considering the conflict of interest between these three men over the Elite X Championship.

Cohen: I agree, Seabass. It's a travesty that someone like Chris Jones is shoved aside for someone like Smith to challenge for the title... and don't even get me started on Phoenix!

All three men are in the ring eying each other off. The referee checks on the competitors before signaling for the bell.

Jones immediately goes after Smith and hits multiple strikes to corner him into the turnbuckles. Phoenix attacks Jones from behind to stop him but Jones eventually regains the advantage by attacking Phoenix. Smith shakes it off and tries subduing Jones with a sleeper-hold but he manages to duck and throw Smith off towards Phoenix's direction, taking both of them to the corner. Jones runs at the corner as Smith falls to the canvas. Phoenix ducks out of the way and Jones hits the turnbuckle. Smith begins crawling on his knees in front of Jones and Phoenix sees his opportunity to run and jump off Smith's back to deliver a shining wizard to Jones, followed by a bulldog once Smith moves out of the way. He goes for the cover... 1... Smith interrupts the count as Jones shoulder goes up. Phoenix tries to mount a counter-attack but Smith is ready and takes Phoenix down with a clothesline, followed by a dropkick. He goes for the cover... 1... Jones interrupts as Phoenix kicks-out. Jones picks-up Smith and hits a snap suplex, which Jones rolls through and locks in a fujiwara armbar. Smith begins screaming in pain as he quickly gets to the ropes. Jones won't let go as the referee begins to count but Phoenix kicks Jones into letting go. He picks up Jones and whips him across the ring but Jones reverses and whips him across. Smith stands up behind Jones as he ducks when Phoenix runs at him. Smith jumps and Phoenix goes underneath then proceeds to rebound off the ropes. Smith ducks and Jones is up, allowing Phoenix to hit the spinning heel kick. Jones is knocked down and rolls out of the ring. Phoenix turns around to Smith and is met with Northern Lights suplex by Smith, followed with a bridged pin... 1... 2... Phoenix uses his leg strength to push up himself and Smith from the canvas and twist themselves around for Phoenix to hit a German suplex with a bridged pin... 1... 2... kick-out by Smith.

Copeland: Nice display of counters by all men thus far. It's been a quick yet impacting match thus far.

Cohen: It's only just going to make them exhausted for Jones to scoop the victory.

As Smith tries getting up, Phoenix gives him some stiff kicks to the legs. He goes to kick Smith in the gut but he catches it. Phoenix tries using an enzuigiri but Smith evades the kick however Phoenix lands on leg. Smith spins around Phoenix who delivers a reverse dragon whip to the head of Smith. Phoenix gets his bearings and tries for a cover on Smith but Jones sneaks into the ring and hits a running neckbreaker on Phoenix. Jones tries for a cover on Smith... 1... 2... kick-out. Jones switches to Phoenix and goes for a cover... 1... 2... kick-out. Jones becomes frustrated and argues with the referee. He gets up and picks Phoenix up along with him and chucks him out of the ring, crashing Phoenix to the floor. Jones looks at Smith who is still recovering and smirks, going out to ringside to meet with Phoenix instead. He picks up Phoenix and rams him into the barricade, then straight into the steel steps. The crowd boos as Jones raises his arm in the air and enters the ring. Smith is there to greet him with a couple of shots and whips him across the ring. Smith tries for a hip toss but Jones blocks the attack. Jones twists the arm of Smith, knees him in the gut and quickly ascends the turnbuckles with Smith's arm still tied up with Jones. He walks across the top rope and hits a diving armbar takedown, switching it into a fujiwara armbar like before. Smith is screaming and hasn't got the strength this time to reach the ropes quickly. The crowd begins to get behind Smith as he tries mustering up strength to begin crawling. He inches closer towards the ropes but Jones breaks the hold, drags Smith back into the center and re-applies the hold. Smith smacks the canvas in frustration as Jones keeps the pressure.

Cohen: What did I tell you Seabass? Wear out your opponents and go for the kill!

Copeland: Jones hasn't won the match yet, Jack. Smith's got a lot of heart and I don't think he'll be giving up anytime soon.

The crowd gets louder and continues to cheer as Smith stands up to a vertical base with Jones locking in the submission. Smith lifts up his foot and stomps Jones directly onto the face of Smith, letting Jones loosen his grip for a split second for Smith to slip his arm out of the submission. Jones realises the danger and gets up but is met with a series of clothelines by Smith with his good arm. He follows up with a sidewalk slam on Jones and goes for the pin... 1... 2... kick-out by Jones. Smith signals for the end as Jones gets up and tries for the final judgment but Smith isn't able to lift Jones from the damage he took and Jones counters with an STO backbreaker on Smith. As Jones gets up Phoenix is back into the ring and tries for the Incinerator from behind but Jones manages to counter it and tries for the Lifesaver... but Phoenix manages to counter that into a snapmare followed by a kick to the back of Jones. Phoenix turns around and is met with a spinebuster by Smith that takes him down. Smith looks around and sees both men on the ground and goes to ascend to the top rope. Smith stops climbing halfway as he notices someone in the audience. The crowd boos loudly as they realise it's Michael Winters staring directly at Smith. The distraction is enough to allow Jones to shove Smith off the top rope crashing to the floor. Jones likes his work, smiling as he turns around to be met with the REBIRTH by Phoenix! He goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3!

The referee signals for the bell and ends the match with the crowd cheering. Phoenix's music hits as he gets up and his arm is raised in victory, unaware of Winters presence.

Harrys: Here is your winner... PHOENIX!

Cohen: How... how did that happen?

Copeland: If you blink Jack then you definitely missed it. Phoenix hit his finisher out of nowhere for the win and... hang on, whats Winters doing?

Michael has jumped the barricade and picks up Smith to hit the Crucifix on the floor. The crowd boos as they see what has happened and Phoenix slides out of the ring to chase off Winters. Michael is halfway up the ramp as Phoenix takes care of the fallen Smith. Winters looks to the sky and begins laughing with a weird look on his face. He receives a microphone and the music cuts off.

Winters: It looks like God wasn't on somebody's side tonight... and it definitely won't be on their side come Redemption.

Phoenix begins yelling at Winters as the crowd boos as well.

Winters: But there is still hope for some people like you Phoenix... someone like me who has been born again. There is still time for someone like you to be... saved.

At that point, Jones comes from behind and hits the Lifesaver to Phoenix on the floor. Jones gets up and looks at the destruction he's caused and smiles, as well as Winters who begins laughing as he walks back to the locker room. Jones walks off as Smith slowly comes too and crawls over to Phoenix to check on him.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We go backstage where Baller is walking past the locker rooms. He appears to be looking for someone when he rounds the corner where Steamboat Ricky is standing talking to a stage hand. Baller immediately jumps Ricky and knocks him down, throwing rights at him before lifting him up and tossing him into the nearby makeup stand. Baller stands over him gloating.

Baller: Welcome back Ricky, you're just the perfect candidate for me to take out at Redemption. What better way for me to make an impression then taking out a former World Heavyweight Champion?

Ricky tries to get up but Baller quickly locks in The Gamechanger and Ricky yells out in pain until referees and trainers rush in and break it up. They separate Baller from Ricky and Baller begins walking away before yelling back at Ricky.

Baller: I'll see your ass at Redemption Ricky, it's time for the up and coming star take his place and the broken down veteran go back to the retirement home. You better believe that.

We go to commercial.

End on 9 begins and as Gordito emerges, he gets a great reception. He takes the time to go to as many fans as he can on the way down to the ring and when he steps inside the ring, he jumps on the turnbuckle and poses for the crowd. He jumps down and looks at the table set up for the contract signing. He waits casually leaning back on the ropes as he waits for his Redemption opponent.

“Megaman 2” then hits and Baez crouches at the top of the stage. He then stalks down the ramp slowly. While Gordito is casually on top of the turnbuckle, Baez doesn’t take his eyes off his adversary. He enters the ring but stays motionless.

Gordito motions to ringside and is passed a mic. He pauses as he considers what he is going to say.

“I’m kind of glad that we are having this opportunity. I want the whole world to know that at Redemption, I can’t wait to get you out of my life once and for all. I want to end the great Baez and it’s going to be done in his own match. Mayhem Rules, anything goes, we can go anywhere, we can do anything.”

Baez reaches out for a mic of his own. He seems calm.

“I said I was coming to apologise and you know Gordi, I’m going to do just that. I wish we could go back in time.”

But Gordito grabs the contract, signs it and throws it back down to the table.

“You know it’s too late. I’m signing this contract because I want the match to go ahead, I want to use a truck full of weapons and I will make sure the canvas is filthy with your blood, sweat and tears!!”

Gordito goes to leave but Baez grabs his arm to stop him. Gordito shoves him off defensively.

“But I am genuinely sorry. I’m sorry that we haven’t done this sooner. I’m sorry that we couldn’t do this at Kingdom Come and that I haven’t had the chance to kick your ass.”

Baez smirks as he sarcastically taunts the Dirty One.

“I am the king of Mayhem and you think you can match up to me? You are like a lamb being dragged to the slaughter and you have no idea what you have let yourself in for. You can shepherd these people to follow you down the path of filth all you want but they won’t be able to help you at Redemption.”

Gordito seems as if he has had enough.

“You are delusional Baez. When you were on top of the Mayhem division, you had fans desperate to follow you. They would wear your masks, buy your t-shirts, buy the replica title because you were holding it. You were one of the most popular guys in the company and they loved you for your mentality. It was brash, it was reckless and damn fun but you abandoned them.”

“This isn’t about them!”

“Of course it is! You don’t get it! You thought you were better than them, than me and you simply weren’t! Redemption won’t be enough for you Baez but when it comes around, you will be begging for me to end it!”

“The Dirty One has had enough of you, make sure you sign that. I don’t want you backing out.”

Gordito goes to leave but as he does Baez grabs a chair, folds it up and wraps it around Gordito’s back! The Dirty One crashes onto the ropes. Baez signs the contract and slams it down to the floor. He then stalks him from the side as he wields the chair menacingly, he goes to hit Smashmouth with the chair but Gordito crushes him to the mat with a huge lariat before he can strike!

Baez rolls out of the ring but Gordito follows, pouncing on him and taking him to the floor with no regard for his own safety. Baez tries to struggle free but Gordito whips him into the steel ring post.

Baez is bleeding a little from the mouth but Gordito doesn’t appear to be done. He moves the ring steps and drags Baez over to it slowly. He hooks Baez’s arms and drops him with the Meteor of War, crushing his face and torso onto the solid metal surface! The crowd pop for Gordito and End on 9 as it as officials separate and drag him away.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We go backstage where Phoenix is sitting in his locker room wiping the sweat away from his face when Sam Smith walks in. Phoenix stands and Smith extends a hand out immediately.

Smith: Great match out there tonight Phoenix. I knew facing you would be a difficult task.

Phoenix: I appreciate it, but you got something I want Smith, a shot at the Elite X Title.

Smith: That's what I came to talk to you about. You see I have no issues with Winters other than I want that belt. However I have a feeling Chris Jones may be a problem for me. I don't want some whacked out self help teacher ruining my opportunity.

Phoenix: So what are you getting at? You want me to take him out before Redemption?

Smith: No nothing like that. I want you in my corner at Redemption, just in case Jones shows his ugly face.

Phoenix contemplates this for a few moments before shaking Smith's hand and nods.

Phoenix: If it gives me the chance to make sure Winters doesn't cheat to keep his title, I'm all for it.

We go to commercial.

Harrys: The following non-title match is scheduled for one fall!

“Bliss” hits and Blade makes his way out onto the stage and does his pose before heading toward the ring.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at 235 pounds, the WZCW EurAsian Champion, Blade!

Blade climbs onto one of the turnbuckles and does his taunt again before hopping down. His music cuts out and after a moment “Becoming the Bull” blasts through the arena and Brad Bomb makes his way down the ramp.

Harrys: And his opponent, from the United Kingdom and weighing in at 261 pounds, Brad Bomb!

The bell rings and the two men circle each other before they finally lock up. Blade gains the advantage with a side headlock, but Bomb escapes and locks in a rear waistlock. He quickly tries to lock in the De-Activated but Blade locks Bomb’s arms and tries for the Halo. Bomb slips out and tries for a clothesline, but Blade ducks it and the two men face off once more. They go for another lock up, but Blade connects with an uppercut to the jaw of Bomb instead. Bomb stumbles back, stunned, as Blade charges at him for a clothesline but Bomb catches him in a schoolboy pin, 1…2… Blade kicks out. They both scramble back to their feet with Blade successfully connecting with a clothesline on the second attempt. He tries to lock in a Texas cloverleaf but Bomb grabs the bottom rope, forcing a break.

Copeland: Fast and furious action thus far with neither man really able to gain an advantage.
Cohen: Blade will pull this out soon enough.

Blade goes toward Bomb to lock up again, but Bomb instead connects with a knee to the midsection of Blade and then drops him with a snap DDT. Blade lies on the ground stunned as Bomb climbs to the top rope. Blade slowly gets back to his feet and turns to see Bomb flying at him and connecting with a crossbody. Bomb holds on for a pin, 1…2.. Blade gets his shoulder up. Bomb gets back to his feet and pulls Blade up as well. He picks up Blade and plants him with a sidewalk slam and follows it with a leg drop. Bomb goes for another pin, 1…2… Blade escapes just before 3. As soon as Bomb gets up, Blade rolls under the nearest rope and to the floor. Bomb sends himself over the top rope for a crossbody but Blade catches him by the throat and counters the dive into a chokeslam on the floor. Blade rolls back into the ring and signals at the referee to count Bomb out.

Cohen: What a move by the EurAsian champion! Told you he was going to pull this out, Seabass!
Copeland: I do agree that the chokeslam was impressive, but Blade has taken quite a bit of punishment and I don’t know if that was enough to keep Bomb down.
Cohen: Have some faith in our EurAsian champ.

Bomb rolls back into the ring at 9 is immediately met with stiff boots to the midsection and head. Bomb lies in the middle of the ring almost motionless as Blade climbs to the top rope and comes off with a frog splash. It connects and Blade hooks the leg for the pin, 1…2… Bomb just slips his shoulder up. Blade tries to lock in the cloverleaf once more, but Bomb rolls the champ up, 1…2…Blade escapes the roll-up. Both men scramble back to their feet and Blade walks himto an elevated spinebuster and both men are down on the mat. The ref begins the 10 count, and both men are up at 8. They trade rights until Bomb finally gains an advantage with a stiff shot to the jaw of Blade. Bomb goes for the Detonator, but Blade slips out and lands on his feet. Bomb is able to hook Blade’s arms, however, and tries for the De-Activated once again. Blade fights out once more and sets for the Halo, which he hits this time. Blade slowly rolls into the pin, 1…2…3!

Harrys: The winner of the match, the WZCW EurAsian Champion, Blade!

Copeland: In a match full of counters, the EurAsian Champion is able to secure the last one and the win from it.

Blade slowly gets back to his feet, has his arm raised, and is handed his belt. He poses on a turnbuckle as Bomb rolls out of the ring and is helped up the ramp by the referee.

We cut backstage to Constantine walking out of his locker room, a frustrated Mia standing inside. Constantine begins marching down the hall towards the entrance when he spots Titus talking on his phone while sitting on a table.

Titus: No I already told you I'm not taking any acting gigs for awhile. I'm back in WZCW where I..be...

Titus notices Constantine walking up to him suddenly. He shakes his head before finishing his conversation.

Titus: Look I have to let you go, I have business to attend to.

Titus hits end on his cell phone before sliding off the table and standing up to Constantine.

Constantine: Don't you worry Titus, you won't need any acting gigs after I'm done with you.

Titus: Don't you have a match next John?

Constantine: As a matter of fact I do. Let me show you what it's like to actually win for a change Titus. Keep your eyes glued to the monitor and maybe you'll learn a thing or two.

Constantine abruptly walks away as Titus looks on flustered. He looks down at his cell phone once more and sighs, answering the call.

Titus: What is it this time? Like hell I'm taking a gig like that. I don't care how much money they're offering, I have more than enough in my account. I don't care about your cut, you make more money than I do. Go to hell!

Titus flings his cell phone across the room and shatters it on the wall. The camera turns back to Titus who looks extremely pissed off as we go to commercial.

"The following match is scheduled for one fall

On his way to the ring from Leeds, England, weighing in at 226lbs, Chris BECKFORD!!”

Enya Stomp begins to a loud cheer and Chris Beckford emerges full of energy. He runs down to the ring and jumps up to the turnbuckles.

"And his opponent..."

From Washington DC, he weighs 265lbs, he is the Power Trip, Constantine!!!

Constantine strolls to the ring with a deliberate slow pace. He shuns the fans and ignores them on his way to the ring.

“Both men would love to get a win here.”

“Well the road to Redemption for Chris Beckford just got even tougher. Constantine is about to drop a roadblock on it!”

“Chris would benefit so much as he builds up to the Chairs match with Blade.”

When he steps in the ropes, he immediately gets in the face of Beckford. The former Eurasian champ pushes him away aggressively. Constantine laughs it off but then charges at Beckford. He sidesteps the charging beast that is Constantine, Beckford pummels him with jabs to the face. Constantine pushes him away, Beckford comes back but Constantine levels him with a clothesline. Beckford is reeling and Constantine stands over him, shaking his head.

“If Beckford loses here, what hope does he have at the pay-per-view?”

He slowly picks Beckford up and then whips him off the ropes before dropping him with a lariat. Constantine picks him up and again puts him down with a backbreaker.

“I think you have answered your own question. Blade will tear him apart.”

He covers Beckford but he only gets a 1 count. Constantine drags him back up again, he lifts him, holding Beckford across his own chest, he goes to throw Beckford over his head but Beckford wraps his legs around Constantine’s neck and flips him down to the mat with a headscissors!

Both men are up quickly, Constantine attempts to hit a lariat but Beckford ducks it and comes back off the ropes with a springboard dropkick! He sprints to the top rope as Constantine tries to regain his bearings. Beckford jumps off and goes to hit a tornado DDT but Constantine prevents Beckford dropping him face first to the mat and instead sends him back-first into the turnbuckle! Beckford yells in agony as Constantine applies all his weight through his shoulder and into Beckford’s gut.

“Beckford’s agility is causing problems for the Power Trip. Just like Austin Reynolds did at Kingdom Come.”

“Which is why it’s crucial that he grounds this British runt before he actually starts wrestling!”

Constantine lifts up Beckford and drops him on the turnbuckle and then follows him up. He then brutally throws Beckford off the top rope with a massive fallaway slam! Constantine gets up, prowling Beckford and is poised to end the match. Beckford gets up and walks straight into the waiting Constantine. He lifts Beckford up for the Axis of Evil but Beckford lands on his feet behind him! Beckford drops him with a desperate faceplant! Beckford moves slowly to cover him, lateral press...1.....2.....Constantine kicks out!

Neither men are able to get up quickly but as they reach their knees they are exchanging blows with the crowd cheering and booing each strike. Once they get to their feet, Beckford is on top. He slaps Constantine in the chest to loud Woooo’s from the crowd as it echoes around the arena. He then runs the ropes, Constantine tries to catch Beckford and throw him but Beckford turns it into a sunset flip!! 1.......2.......Constantine kicks out!!

“Desperately close for Chris Beckford! How can he finish off Constantine!!”

“I’ve seen the Power Trip come back from worse situations!”

Beckford rolls outside again. He goes to springboard in but Constantine ducks out of the way, Beckford lands on his feet! He goes to hit the Cross Drop but Constantine reverses it and whips him head first into the turnbuckle and as he stumbles backwards, Constantine hits Collateral Damage!!! He hooks the leg!!!! 1..........2...........3!!!!

Your winner by pinfall, Constantine!!!

“What a great win over the former Eurasian Champion!”

“That was an extremely efficient win for Constantine but Beckford will be concerned. He seemed a little off, maybe distracted by thoughts of Redemption?”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We cut backstage where Big Dave is walking down the hallway towards the entrance as he walks past Everest. The two men nod but are cautious of each other. We cut to Barbosa walking down another hallway with Kravinoff talking his ear off while Barbosa tries to frantically write on his Etch a Sketch.

Copeland: A rematch of sorts from Kingdom Come. Who will be victorious in our main event, next!

Cohen: Let me list the reasons why Barbosa was screwed Seabass. Maybe after fact number one hundred you'll get the hint.

Copeland: Go to commercial quickly!

We suddenly cut to a dejected Chris Beckford walking backstage. He turns a corner where he is met with a huge belt shot to the face. The Eurasian title is dropped next to his head and the camera draws back to show Blade with a sneer on his face.

“Chris, Chris, Chris. You don’t understand it do you? If you think that you can get this title back in a drop of a hat, you are so mistaken.”

Blade disappears for a second and returns with a ladder.

“But this, us, it’s going to need more than a Chairs match. I want to cripple you. I want see you simply unable to move after falling off a sixteen ladder. By the time I am done with you, being able to take a breath will be the least of your concerns!”

Blade positions the point of the folded ladder on Beckford’s knee joint. Beckford tries to fight it but is too dazed and Blade is leaning all his weight on it.

“You’ll get your chance of Redemption but it won’t be a Chairs match. But you’ll have to risk your body and your entire career to take the Eurasian title from me because I want your rematch to be in a Ladder match!”

Blade raises the ladder up and before Beckford can move, Blade crushes his left knee joint with the point of the ladder. Beckford screams in absolute agony. Blade picks up the title and drops the ladder on the floor before he walks away.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Can't Get You Out of My Head hits and Barbosa makes his way out, adjusting his Hannibal Lecter mask on his way down the ramp. The crowd boos him as he slides into the ring and suddenly gets an excited look in his eyes as he looks out at the crowd.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Bedlam. He stands 6'1" and weighs 237 lbs, Barbosa!

Dave walks out to a thunderous cheer from the crowd. He raises his golden briefcase up high as he smiles wide while looking out at the crowd. He walks down the ramp and stops in front of the ring and stares down Barbosa before entering the ring and raising the briefcase up once more.

Copeland: These two men were the final competitors in the King for a Day match, a match that Big Dave was victorious in and earning his World Title Shot.

Cohen: Barbosa was screwed! Dave knows he shouldn't be holding that briefcase.

Copeland: He should be looking to get some revenge tonight then!

The ref signals for the bell and the two men immediately lock up. Dave gains advantage with a side head lock but Barbosa immediately shoves him away. Both men square up with the other before Dave goes for another lock up. Barbosa ducks under and connects with a few rights. He quickly whips Dave into the corner and drives his knee repeatedly into his midsection. He wraps his arm around Dave's neck and drives him down hard with a bulldog. He immediately goes fro the cover..1....2..Dave kicks out with ease. Barbosa gets to his feet and goes to pick Dave up but Dave rolls him over and hooks him in a small package! 1....2.....Barbosa just kicks out at the last second. Both men are up and Dave kicks Barbosa in the stomach before hitting a snap suplex. He floats over and begins throwing rights and lefts. Barbosa covers up and the ref eventually pulls Dave off of him.

Copeland: Dave is taking it right to the manic one. I have a feeling we might just see a repeat of Kingdom Come.

Cohen: Dave's just bullying Barbosa in there. The ref should disqualify Dave. And for good measure give Barbosa the KFAD Title shot.

Dave stares at the ref for a moment before turning back towards Barbosa who surprises him with an inverted atomic drop and follows up with an STO, dropping Dave face first onto the mat. Dave tries shaking the cobwebs out but Barbosa applies a reverse chinlock, keeping Dave grounded on the mat. Dave tries reaching for the ropes but is too far away. Barbosa continues applying the pressure as the ref checks on Dave. He shakes his head as the crowd begins cheering for Dave, yelling for him to get up. Dave slowly gets to his knees and connects with a few elbows and Barbosa releases the hold. Dave tries to get up but Barbosa wraps his arm around Dave's neck once more and hits a sudden DDT. The crowd's cheering ends suddenly as Barbosa holds on and gets up once more, dropping Dave with a second DDT. He rolls him over and covers him, 1.....2......Dave kicks out at the last moment.

Cohen: Yes! Don't you see it Seabass? Barbosa would be far more of a threat than Dave to our World Champion.

Copeland: He hasn't put him away yet Cohen. Dave's certainly shown his resiliency over the years, and this match will be no different.

Barbosa slams his hand down on the mat, frustration showing on his face as he suddenly gets an angered look on his face. He grabs Dave by his hair and drags him up. He sets him up for a sambo suplex but Dave hits a few elbows before suddenly lifting Barbosa up and hitting a Catatonic Backbreaker! Barbosa's face wrenches in pain as he crashes hard into the mat. Both men are down and the ref checks on them. He begins the ten count as neither man is moving. The ref reaches the count of 4 when Dave begins to slowly stir as the crowd starts to get back into the match. He grabs the ropes and slowly pulls himself up as the count reaches 7. Barbosa is also slowly getting up and both men reach their feet at 9. Dave immediately hits a big boot that sends Barbosa stumbling back into the corner. Dave rushes forward and hits a big clothesline, sandwiching Barbosa. He climbs the second turnbuckle and drops down fists onto Barbosa as the crowd counts each one. Dave backs off and Barbosa stumbles once more out of the corner. He's caught however and Dave flips him over with a Northern Lights Suplex. He bridges it and goes fro the pin, 1.....2.....Barbosa kicks out!

Copeland: I certainly hope our World Champion is watching this match, he may have to face this force of nature in the ring sooner than later.

Cohen: Well he's already faced Barbosa before.....and Barbosa got screwed there too! It's a conspiracy!

Copeland: Will you shut up?

Dave gets up and poses for the crowd as they return the gesture with a thunderous response. Dave lifts Barbosa to his feet and whips him into the ropes, connecting with a powerslam off the rebound. He immediately hooks the leg, 1....2....Barbosa kicks out once more. Dave is up to his knees and looks down at Barbosa, shaking his head before lifting him up to his feet. He hits a low kick and goes for his patented high kick but Barbosa ducks under and hits the Split Personality! Barbosa collapses on top of Dave and goes for the pin, 1.....2......Dave kicks out! Barbosa gets to his knees and wraps his arm under Dave's head and begins delivering stiff knees to the face as Dave tries to push him away.

Cohen: Finish him Barbosa! Show the world what truly belongs to you!

Copeland: Dave is suddenly in a world of hurt right now. If Barbosa keeps the pressure up, he should pick up the victory here.

Barbosa delivers one final knee and drops Dave face first into the mat. He stands up once more and puts a foot on Dave's back as the crowd boos loudly. He begins stomping away as Dave tries to cover up. Barbosa signals for the end and pulls Dave up in position for the Mood Stabilizer. He lifts him up but Dave counters into a huge DDT! The crowd pops loudly as Dave drags himself back up to his feet and signals for the Stamp of Authority! Barbosa slowly gets to his feet and Dave lifts him up when Hunter Kravinoff suddenly runs out and hops onto the ring apron!

Copeland: What's he doing here?

Cohen: He's making sure his star wins this match Seabass!

Dave drops Barbosa to the mat and begins arguing with Kravinoff. Dave suddenly punches out Kravinoff, sending him off the ring apron. Dave turns back towards Barbosa who lifts him up and hits the Doppleganger! He hooks Dave's leg, 1.....2.....3!

Harrys: Here is your winner, Barbosa!

Copeland: He actually defeated Big Dave, with an assist from Kravinoff of course.

Cohen: Minor details Seabass, fact remains Barbosa has avenged his loss at Kingdom Come.

Barbosa kneels on the mat and the ref tries to raise his hand but Barbosa pulls his arm away quickly and gets up to begin stomping away at Dave. Kravinoff enters the ring and joins in, both men delivering the beatdown to the King for a Day winner. Suddenly Everest runs out with a chair in hand and slides into the ring. Barbosa turns and gets a chair to the midsection and a shot to the back. Kravinoff quickly rolls out of the ring and pulls Barbosa to the outside as well.

Cohen: What's this old artifact think he's doing? He's ruining the best part of the show!

Copeland: In a odd surprise, it looks as if Everest has come down to save Dave from Barbosa and Kravinoff!

Barbosa and Kravinoff back up the ramp staring down Everest as he helps Dave up. The two men stare each other down for a moment before shaking hands and turning towards the other two retreating to the entrance stage.

Copeland: A spectacular evening here at Meltdown. Unfortunately we're out of time! Please join us tomorrow night for Ascension as the World Heavyweight Champion Ty Burna teams with the World Tag Team Champions Brothers in Arms to take on Showtime and the Forgotten Powers. For Jack Cohen, I'm Sebastian Copeland, good night!
