MD 54: The Crashin Movement vs. The Forgotten Powers

With the new alliance of Dr. Alhazred and James King added to the Tag Team Championship match at Kingdom Come, they made their presence felt last week after an assisted assault on Crashin Movement member Steven Holmes who was the only member around on Ascension last week. The Crashin Movement looks to get some retribution and show the new team that this is no ball park they've entered as both look to get an early advantage before their title shot arrives.

Dr. Alhazred and Mister are standing in the backstage area arms folded. A flag with a Triforce and the Power Glove on top drapes over the WZCW logo behind them. Dr. Alhazred is wearing his in-ring gear with a James King T-shirt. A toy replica of the WZCW Tag Team Championship is wrapped around his waist, the Speak N’ Spell in his hand. His right arm is bare, he is not wearing the Power Glove.

Ladies and Gentleman, I’m standing here with one half of the Forgotten Powers, the newest and one of the hottest teams out there, Dr. Alhazred and his manager Mister.

Using the Speak N' Spell to talk with a computerized voice Dr. Alhazred says:
Kittensworth what did I tell you to address me as in our phone conversation?

Dr. Alhazred the smartest man in the galaxy?

Smartest man in the UNIVERSE! jack-nugget.

Ok Dr. Alhazred the smartest man in the Universe and his manager Mister. Now Dr. Alhazred, your new partner and yourself have been on a hot streak lately, first getting a win over two rookies and last week you defeated the WZCW Tag Team Champions; the Brothers in Arms. You have now been put into the title match at Kingdom Come. What are your thoughts on your seemingly immediate success as a tag team?

Mister puts his hand on Alhazred’s shoulder.

I got this one. Are you surprised Mr. Kittensworth? Are you really surprised? You and everyone knew as soon as my boy stepped foot in WZCW, he was destined for greatness. You’ll remember his first match was a Eurasian Title match at Lethal Lottery. He started off with a bang and has only gotten better each week, add in my help and knowledge and we cannot be stopped. I will say we are a bit surprised with how well our new buddy James King has kept up with us. I’ll be honest, when he first came I wasn’t interested and when these two were first partnered, I thought the Dr. would have to carry the whole load. I was proven wrong; James King has shown he has what it takes to roll with us and he has some chemistry brewing with Dr. Alhazred. I can tell you right now with God as my witness, the Forgotten Powers are the future of this company.

Dr. Alhazred nods.

This week you have the Crashin Movement, what is your take on them and how do you plan on toppling WZCW’s most hated stable?

Dr. Alhazred crosses his arms and shakes his head.

What’s wrong? Why isn’t he answering?

Dr. Alhazred will not answer any questions unless he is addressed properly by lower life forms such as you.

I have to say the universe stuff every time I want to ask him a question.

Dr. Alhazred is looking off screen not paying attention.

You better believe it son, unless you want my boot in your ass.

There’s no need for violence, so do I ask the whole question over again?

Mmmhmm.

Um… okay Dr. Alhazred the smartest man in the Universe, this week you have the Crashin Movement, what is your take on them and how do you plan on toppling WZCW’s most hated stable?

I’ll handle this one Mister. The Crashin Movement are a joke, pure and simple, they are not a threat to the Forgotten Powers. We may have lost the Power Glove for the time being but we have been training all day and all night preparing ourselves for these fools and those conniving bastards the BiA.

Oh yeah I was wondering where the Power Glove was, it seemed to have broken over Wasabi Toyota in your match last week. Are you finally going to ditch it and win on your own merit?

Mister grabs Leon by the shirt.

How dare you interrupt Dr. Alhazred!! First off you didn’t address him correctly but we’ll let that slide because you’re clearly not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. Second, Dr. Alhazred has earned everything he has in this company himself, not because of that machine, he uses it as a backup plan just in case his initial plans fail. Third, that fat piece of Ying-Yang crap Wasabi Toyota better watch his back come Kingdom Come, because this is no longer simply about titles. This is about taking our revenge for not only causing Dr. Alhazred to lose his beautiful voice but for breaking the one thing in this world this man holds dear. The Forgotten Powers will destroy them without regard.

Mister lets go of Leon and wipes his own suit down, staring a hole through Leon the whole time.

The Power Glove will be fine, unfortunately the repairs are taking longer than expected and it probably won’t be ready until after Kingdom Come. That being said, our upcoming match against the Crashin Movement will be a statement match. I’m not in it to win it, I’m in it to hurt Steven Holmes and Doug Crashin, I’m in it to make sure they walk into Kingdom Come with a limp or not at all. The gloves are off and there won’t be any jokes on Meltdown, when they taste the Triforce Combination or when I hit the Level 5, I will not go for the cover, I will go for a chair, and I will strike it upon them over and over and over again until they cannot leave that ring by their own strength.

Dr. Alhazred runs his hands through his hair and down his face. Mister is standing behind him looking down and listening intently.

Hatred and destiny can be deadly when combined with each other Kittensworth. I hate the BiA, I hate Wasabi Toyota. For everything they’ve put me through, they stole my voice, ruined my life’s work, and made me into a fool. What they have done to me I shall do to them tenfold. And while I have no hatred towards the Crashin Movement, I’ve actually found no fault with their previous actions, but they are in my way to destiny and I cannot allow them to stop me. I came in here in a good mood Kittensworth but you’ve spoiled it. You’re probably wondering why I’m wearing this replica WZCW Tag Team Championship aren’t you?

Actually I am Dr. Alhazred the smartest man in the Universe.

A cold grin stretches across the face of Dr. Alhazred.

You see I was going to make it into a joke. That I already knew The Forgotten Powers are going to win those titles and that I was preparing myself to get used to the feeling of having a title around my waist, because it’s going to be there for a while after Kingdom Come. But no games this week, the tunnel vision is on and the Crashin Movement are in my sights. Don’t even bother showing up Doug Crashin and Steven Holmes, you’ll only regret it. Save whatever energy and strength you have for Kingdom Come and don’t step into the ring with the Forgotten Powers because we are going to hurt you, embarrass you, humble you. I’m done here; finish this off for me Mister.

Dr. Alhazred pushes the microphone out of his face and walks off screen.

Mister walks into the middle of the screen still looking down. He looks up with a serious look.

Doug Crashin, I saw you naked last week. And let me tell you, if talent was based on dick size, you’d have less than you already do. OHHHHHHH!!!

BURN!

Mister and Kensworth high five each other while laughing.

That was a good one.

I know right, I’ve been waiting all week to say that son.

Dr. Alhazred walks on screen and stares at Mister angrily.

Mister’s face immediately gets serious, he’s clearly trying to hide his laughter.

As Mister and Dr. Alhazred walk off screen we can here Mister say:

Hey man, I worked on that all week and you go out there and ruin the moment. Next time you do that I’m gonna tell them how you sleep with that stuffed Pikachu…

His voice fades away as the scene fades to black.

 

[FunKay the Inevitable]

We open with a limousine pulling up to the Crashin Movement headquarters. The grand building gleaming as the limo driver exits and opens the door for his passenger; one Douglas Crashin. Crashin steps out, having only just returned from his trip to promote the stable. This is his first stop after dropping his suitcase off. He adjusts the tie he is wearing and brushes himself down; making sure his expensive suit isn’t messy as he looks to enter the mansion. Crashin walks up the steps, the sense of anticipation building, he takes a deep breath and opens the door. Crashin’s facial expression suddenly changes from one of anticipation to a stunned, almost concerned look.

Several men are carrying heavy equipment around, including a spotlight and some camera’s. Crashin looks around to see these men walking backwards and forwards, getting things in place for something. Crashin tries to take it all in, but he can’t quite do it. He looks for his tag team partner Steven Holmes, trying to find ‘the Elite’ amongst the crowd. Finally he does so. Holmes also spots Crashin, a wide grin stretched across his face. More notable however is the rolled up sleeves, slight stubble, suspenders and messy hair as well as the black eye he earned at Ascension.

Crashin: Steven, what’s going on?

Holmes: Douglas it’s a pleasure to see you. How was Mexico?

Crashin: Hot and full of Mexicans. What’s going on?

Holmes walks through the crowd of people and equipment to meet Crashin.

Holmes: The beginning of the end that’s what’s happening.

Crashin: I don’t follow.

Holmes: I’m preparing, and have been for quite some time, to send one final message to Brothers in Arms and now the Forgotten Powers.

Crashin: Who?

Holmes: Dr. Alhazerd and James King.

Crashin: So they now have a name.

Holmes: They also have us in a match this coming Meltdown.

Crashin: A chance to show our dominance over them then?

Holmes: YES! Not only that though, but a chance to make sure they don’t interfere with the plans we’ve laid down for Kingdom Come & Brothers in Arms.

Crashin: They won’t be able to interfere if they can barely get to the ring.

Holmes: Exactly Douglas. Exactly.

Crashin: I’m still angry with the addition of them to our championship match.

Holmes chuckles slightly and puts his hand on Crashin’s shoulder.

Holmes: I was too. That was until I saw the footage back. They punched me square in the face, hence the black eye. I was angry, irate, and livid you could say. BUT I soon realised that this addition will only make the eventual victory of the Crashin Movement that much sweeter. With this addition, we will climb not only one mountain but two. We’ll prove our dominance of the division and prove that we have no peers. We are on a level all of our own.

Crashin: I suppose that does make sense.

Holmes: Exactly. The black eye I have will only serve as a reminder to me that I need to pay Alhazerd & King back. And I shall. Both at Meltdown & at Kingdom Come. We’ll slay two birds with one stone. Ending our historic rivalry with the Brothers in Arms and conquering the others in the tag team division.

Crashin: So I suppose we could say Meltdown will be more about sending a message...

Holmes: Much like I did to Ferbian.

Crashin: And Kingdom Come will be the night where we rise to the top.

Holmes: Precisely.

Crashin: Excellent. But you still haven’t really answered my question. What is this whole production team doing here?

Holmes takes his hand off of Crashin’s shoulder and a more serious look adorns Holmes’ face.

Holmes: As I said it’s the beginning of the end. I’ll be sending a message, one with personal touches, to our foes and everyone else in WZCW.

Crashin: What do you mean the beginning of the end?

Holmes: This is the start of the final chapter in the tag team war between the Movement and Brothers in Arms. It’s like that song; The End is the Beginning is the End.

Crashin: You like the Smashing Pumpkins?

Holmes: No, but Phoenix does.

Crashin giggles a little before Holmes joins in and both men break into full laughter and we fade to black, there laughter filling the air.

We come to with James King walking down a crowded street. He is wearing a pair of black sweatpants, and a coat with a bright red triforce on the back. James keeps shifting his focus to each side of the street, with a look of confusion as he keeps walking on.

After my discussion with Leon last week, I thought of something. I don't know anything about who I am, who my family, save for a few of them, what my past was.

He stops walking in front of a skyscraper. The city is identified as the building James stopped in front of is the Sears Tower. James now wears a look of interest mixed with the confusion. He keeps looking at the people passing by him.

I came to Chicago on feelings that I had.I felt that people in my past were living here. One of these people could be the biggest part of my past that I would know. But it was all to no avail. I haven't seen anything that looked familiar. Except for one person.

He turns and looks at a man across the street. The man looks to be in his mid-forties. He has brown hair, and looks a lot like James. The man has a look of concern on his face. James is looking at his with a strange look on his face, almost longing.

That man has been following me since I landed at O'hare. He seems familiar, but I can't put my finger on why. I need to head back to my hotel to think about what WZCW has in store for me.

James turns around and walks back the way he came. After giving him a few steps, the man across the street follows. James turns and looks to see him, but doesn't seem surprised about it.

Speaking of last week...

James looks up with a huge smile on his face, as memories from his match last week comes back.

Last week was the biggest week of my, albeit very short, career. On Meltdown Alhazred and I left the tag team champions on the ground. Toyota after a Level 5, and Hammond after he tapped out to yours truly.

His smile grows as those memories are replaced by what happened on Ascension.

Then, on Ascension, we were added to Kingdom Come. The Forgotten Powers are the next big tag team. We will be the ones who everyone will be talking about at Kingdom Come.

James looks back down, with a look of interest with a little concern on his face.

This week, we get the other team in the championship match at Kingdom Come, the Crashin Movement. Now, let's look at the weeks both teams had. We left the BiA out cold on the floor and were added to a championship match.

James looks at what street he's on, and turns left to a bus stop. He has a little smirk on his face.

The Crashins, if I'm remembering correctly, had the week off, and left Steven Holmes to be on the receiving end of a punch from the Doctor.

James looks up, a look of determination on his tired face

Steven, you felt our blow last week. I can only say one thing. You and Doug Crashin will feel much worse this week. When Meltdown comes around, neither of you will be able to make it to Kingdom Come.

He turns to see a bus coming down the street. He sighs at the thought of the bus ride back. He doesn't look happy at the sight of it.

The Forgotten Powers will leave you just like we left the champs last week. Out cold and broken. Neither of you will last when Amnesia Strikes.

He gets up and boards the bus as we fade out.

 

[One Punch Doug Crashin]

We find ourselves in the lobby of the Crashin Movement HQ where we see Doug, Holmes and Kurtesy in their Armani suits. The camera pans as we see the staff moving boxes in and out of the lobby. The production crew is still there and they follow the Crashin Movement to the elevators. As they get in the elevator Holmes smiles as Kurtesy and Crashin look puzzled. Holmes pushes the button labeled BMO (Board Members Only).

Doug: So. What’s with the smiling?


Holmes: Oh nothing. Just thinking on how far the Movement has gone. Ah we’re here.


The elevator opens as we see a conference table, leather chairs, 50 inch HD LCD TV and a plethora of high tech equipment. There’s also a fridge on the floor which Crashin opens up.


Doug: Nice place you built here Mr. Holmes. You’re an architect of my own heart.


Steve H: Your welcome Douglas. I’m proud to be a part of the greatest faction this fed has ever seen.


Doug: Me too brother. Which is exactly why I called you all here. We’re expanding. That’s why I was in Mexico. We’re opening a division down there. Expanding the product and such you know.


Kurtesy: But who do we know and trust that can handle business south of the boarder?


Doug: I’ll figure that out when we get to it. Right now we need to focus on strategy going into Kingdom Come. Which means we need to send a message to our opponents this week. I know Holmes and I got these newbies Forgotten Powers right?


Holmes: Yep. James King and Dr. Asshat. Doug? What were you thinking?


Doug: I have no idea. Thought he could use a rub….. Didn’t know he’d make me look like an idiot. I should’ve known better. I’m sorry.


Holmes: S’ok Douglas. Still we can’t take this team as lightly as we did the last one. They almost beat us Doug.


Doug: Hey don’t look at me Steve, I still have some ring rust. Still that should be sorted out now. Don’t worry about your match good Doctor. Doug has a plan. Doug ALWAYS has a plan.


The scene fades to black.
