These two new competitors came up short in their bid for advancement in the EurAsian Title Tournament. This week, the two square off to determine who's the better man after all.

Deadline is Monday, June 15, 11:59 PM EST.

As the promo begins clips of Karnage’s match against David Cougar is shown. It shows the most important parts of the match with both men trading blows. It is culminated with the image of Cougar pinning Karnage. As the last picture flashes onto the screen the pictures turn to video and the promo begins. The crowd are still shouting for Cougar and the heat Karnage is getting is deafening. A physically pumped up Karnage wanders up the ramp. He is shouting at the audience and motioning as though he is upset with the result. As Karnage reaches the top of the ramp, a fan’s sign reading “Karnage sucks” catches his attention. Squinting as the sweat from the match runs into his eyes from his brow, he struggles with disbelief at the nerve of the child to hold up such a sign. Karnage is visibly infuriated with the child and walks over to the security barrier purposefully, his head shaking and his mouth still moving furiously as he attempts to beat the audience for noise. As he approaches the barrier, the child lowers the sign and looks horrified. Some of the older fans around the child begin to yell at Karnage with the intent of getting the monster away from the child. With a lunge, Karnage grabs the child by the collar of his shirt and stares intently into his eyes, his jaw clenched. With his right hand he grabs the sign and after a couple of seconds he releases the child with a shove. The heat is now unbelievable. It seems as though he is another man, as though the loss has changed him. Karnage turns to the crowd and shakes his head in disgust. He turns and finishes his climb up the ramp once more, with the sign still in his hand, Karnage exit’s from the stage through the curtain.

The camera switches and we are taken into the innards of the arena where Karnage is seen walking around the corridors. Still clutching the sign in his hands, he looks at it now and again and laughs with disbelief. He still appears intense and is drawing some looks from the staff of the arena. Karnage continues on none-the-less and rounds a corridor only to be met by Vance Bateman. The gaze of both men meet for a second and neither man seems to be able to break it. As both men draw closer to each other the atmosphere thickens and it is noticeable that Vance is very angry at Karnage. His brow is furrowed and the look on his face is undesirable.

Vance: “You Fucking idiot! You imbecile! Do you have nay idea what you have done out there tonight? Huh? You have put my ass in so much trouble that I can already feel the board’s breath on my neck. Why couldn’t you just be a man about your loss? You were the poorer man, you deserved your loss and Cougar deserved to win. To top off what was already a miserable night for you, you pull that shit. You better hope that that kid doesn’t contact some lawyers because he will sue us for everything we have. And for what!? Because you didn’t like his little sign. Oh my God, I need to sit down or I think I might just kill you myself.” As Vance continues his rant, Karnage has broken his gaze and is now looking intently at the sign that he is clutching in both hands and chuckling audibly. Vance continues. “I hope you know that you have effectively killed this business. You have only been in the door for 10 minutes and already you are causing trouble. I knew I should have never bailed you out from that filth-infected hell-hole that you call your home. I must have been crazy to think that you would have changed, that you would do well, or even that you could win a match… Well, are you not going to say anything”

Karnage: “You know something Vance? I could not give a shit about any of those fans out there. I could not care less about intimidating a kid that pissed me off and most importantly I could not care less about what you have to say on the matter. Those fans need a reality check. I go out there and give it my best against a man who got the better of me on the night and what do I get? A sign that says Karnage sucks! Those fans have no idea what I am capable of. They have no idea of the emotion and rage that courses through my veins at any moment during a match. My emotions got the better of me tonight and already they have turned on me. In only my second match as a wrestler, I give it everything I have and still, they turn there backs on me. Well no more! From this moment on, I am not going out there to please anyone that is not myself. From now on I will bend, break and ultimately destroy more people than ever and do you know why? Because those fans have reminded me of something tonight. They reminded me of the rejection that society has put on me all of my life. They reminded me that there is no place for a criminal like me, that there is no redemption for scum that comes out of a ‘filth-infected hell-hole’. So from now on I will show no mercy to my opponent, I will show no remorse and I will fight with every fibre of my being to be victorious and make no mistake I will be. I don’t care if you are a child or if you are my boss. From this moment on Karnage listens to no one.”

Vance: “How dare you talk to me like that! I am your boss God-damn it. You will show me some respect and most of all you will listen to what I say. At Meltdown 24 you will be facing Sanna and you can count yourself lucky that I am not firing you right here on the spot. If it were not for the heat that the fans gave you after that little stunt, you would be out the door and back into whatever corner you escaped from. I’m warning you though, involve yourself in another little altercation like that again and make no mistake, you will be GONE!”

Vance and Karnage again lock eyes. Both men look intense and ready to blow up. Vance quickly turns and walks away. The figure of Becky Serra can be seen in the background of the scene. As she approaches, Karnage turns to her.

Becky: “Karnage, I was just wondering if you could give us your thoughts on the announcement that at Meltdown 24, you will be facing Sanna in a match that both of you have to win to prove your worth to the fans and to Vance. So tell me, how do you plan to beat a man who has a lot of problems, somewhat like yourself?”

Karnage: “Sanna huh! Yeah I’ve seen that loser lurking around the arenas before. He claims that some sort of force is helping him bend bodies into impossible angles but the only thing that is impossible about him is that he thinks he can beat me. You’re right though Becky, Sanna and I are quite alike in many ways. We like to hurt people and we have a lot of things to deal with up top. However, there is one major difference between me an Sanna. You know what that difference is Becky? No! Not bright enough to figure it out? That’s okay because I’m going to let you in on it anyway. The difference, Becky, is that while Sanna makes petty little promises to bend people into impossible angles, Karnage carries out those actions. If you were in Showtime’s locker room right now, do you know what he would be doing? He would be nursing some pretty bad injuries. I guarantee you that he is hurting but not nearly as much as what Sanna will be come Meltdown 24. When you measure myself and Sanna up, Sanna is like a little terrier. He barks a lot and gets on your nerves but ultimately he is nothing but toothless. His bark is bigger than his bite. I, on the other hand, am a rabid animal. You know, I heard around the locker room that Sanna was once a nice guy: sane, happy, easy-going. Apparently some sort of force came over him and turned him into the same depressing loser we see dwelling around the sewage systems of the buildings we use. Apparently, this force also helps him in the ring, by helping him control himself and hurt people. Some would even say that it is like taking someone else into the ring with you. Someone who is there to look after you and spot you. Let me just tell you this Becky, it doesn’t matter if Sanna brings 1,2,3 or 4 men into that ring with him at MD24, he will be in solitary confinement at the end of the fight. We both have a lot to prove in this match and make no mistake I will be victorious this time and then we will how much ‘Karnage sucks’.”

Karnage looks at Becky and s******s, tears up the sign violently and walks away…

There is a camera following Johnny Klamor as he approaches a decrepit, Derelict building.

Johnny Klamor
God damn, What the hell was I thinking? Meeting Sanna without any security, I should have at least brought a rape alarm with me.

Johnny Klamor pushes the door, That is only hanging by an hinge.

Is it even safe to be in this hell hole?

As Klamor enters the living area, He notices a light coming from another room.

Sanna? Sanna? Are you here?

Suddenly the door slams shut behind them, Making Johnny Klamor, And his cameraman jump out of their skins, As well as filling the room with darkness.

Oh god who the hell was that? I'm stuck in this damp riddled house, That looks like it was involved with a twister.

THUD!

The camera swings wildly to the lighted room.

THUD!

Johnny Klamor sneaks up to the room, And his jaw drops.

S.....S.......Sanna?

Sanna is kneeling in front of some sort of shrine, Lit by a single candle, Banging his head against a wall, As he is rocking backwards, And forwards, While muttering.

Sanna? Are you OK?

Sanna suddenly stops dead, And hides a picture.

SannaShhhhhhhh!

Sanna slightly tilts his head, And closes his eyes.

Do you feel that?

Feel what?

A big smile washes across Sanna's face.

I can feel "him", An unknown force pulled me towards WZCW, It was the reason I entered the battle royal.

Sanna takes in a huge breath.

I think it's him, I think HE is in WZCW!

Johnny Klamor looks confused.

You mean the guy that "took you under his wing"?

Hmmm.......hahahaha, You could say that, He taught me to embrace the darkness, Become one with the shadows.

A look of satisfaction sweeps Sanna.

Johnny Klamor leans forward, And tries his best not to scrunch up his sweaty face,

So Sanna, You took a loss at the last show, How will this affect you match with Criminal Karnage at MD24?

Sanna's face drops, And his demeanor changes.

Klamor, Your eye's give you away, I see fear in them.

It's the same look that Karnage will have as I tie him up, Just before I drop him on his head. He may have been incarcerated, But that will be nothing compared to the despair he will feel, When he realises that he is trapped, With only one way out.

But to answer your question, It will not affect the match in any shape, Or form. Mondragon, And I put on a show, And surprised a lot of people with our abilities, And like myself, He is destined for greater things.

What are your personal thoughts of Criminal Karnage?

Hahaha, He is a very insecure, And angry man, Maybe his life would have turned out a little different, If his father would have given him a hug, And this weakness is my biggest strength. He will lose his temper, And make a mistake when the crowd is chanting "Karnage sucks" to the top of their lungs, Whereas such insignificant things do not phase me. I could not care whether these people love, Nor hate me. I'm in this ring for myself, No one else.

He seems to think he is an uncaged animal, But if this animal bites, I will knock it's teeth out. If it tears my skin, I will break its limbs. If it roars, I will crush it's throat. When it's all over, And the dust settles. Karnage will be begging for his cage.

Ermmm, Just one more question Sanna.

Go ahead, One more question, But make it quick. Your presence disgusts me.

Johnny Klamor starts looking nervous.
Were are we, I haven't seen anyone for miles?

Why it's my parents house.

So whe

I said one more question, Shut up, And get out. Before I do something you regret.

Tell Becky I said hi.

The cameraman walks out of the door, And into the garden. Which looks like the remains of a bomb site, As the camera fades to black.

The screen fades from black to show a long, barely lit street, a lone figure can be seen walking up cautiously; it is that of Leon Kensworth. At the end of the street one house is visible; it lies next to a blinking street lamp. Flicking on and off, the house is only visible for a few seconds at a time and then disappears out of sight once more. It is desolate and does not look to be very well kept. As Kensworth reaches the gate of the house he notices an old mail box. It is old and curious looking. The name Christley has been scribbled out and “House of Karnage” has been noticeably scribbled in its place.

“This must be the place then”

From the outside of the house a dull light can be seen around the frame of the door. With a gulp Kensworth opens the gate and begins the climb up the path towards the house. As he approaches the house, an audible creaking sound can be heard nearby. It is the door opening and a large framed man stands in the shadows.

“Karnage? Is that you? Come on, show yourself”

The door opens further and the light from inside the house illuminates the shadows, showing Karnage. He looks intent and less pumped up than when we last saw him at MD23. Slowly, Kensworth moves towards the door and eventually reaches the patio, mere yards from Karnage. Leon looks shaky and uncertain.

“What do you want Kensworth, I told you people that I don’t want to be disturbed just now. You better have a damn good reason for showing up here tonight.”

“It’s just that after what went down at MD23 with Cougar and then with the fan, I was wondering if you needed anything?”

“No Kensworth, I don’t need anything and especially not from a spineless hack like you.”

Karnage goes to close the door but the action is met with the booming voice of Kensworth who has suddenly found his spine. Leon looks angry and hurt that Karnage has refused his help.

“Let me in Karnage or you’re out of WZCW! Do you want that huh? To go back to stealing and pilfering for a living, not knowing where your next meal is gonna come from? Do you really want to go back to that way of life? Let me in or that’s exactly what’s gonna happen to you.”

Leon gulps at the sudden realisation that he may have ended his own life. Shuffling slowly backwards so as to be further away from the beast that lurks in the doorway, Kensworth does not notice the small steps behind. Kensworth misses the step and falls onto the poorly kept grass that surrounds the house. Through a s******, Karnage begins to talk.

“You know what Kensworth, I was gonna make a fool of you just now but it seems you’re intent on doing it to yourself. Hell, come in, this might even be fun.”

Picking himself up from the grass and brushing himself off, Kensworth follows Karnage into the house, the same nervousness that was evident before is again prevalent in the face of Kensworth as he enters the unknown. As he gets inside the house, the bark of Karnage comes out of the darkness.

“Take off your shoes!”

Puzzlement is now spread across the features of Kensworth as he struggles to contemplate why. Kensworth stands still but has yet to take off his shoes. Karnage stops suddenly. He turns quickly and begins to move at a rapid pace back down the hall. Noticing that Karnage is deadly serious and heading towards him, Kensworth struggle with his laces and eventually gets his shoes off his feet.

“When I tell you to do something, you fucking do it! Especially in here.”

“I’m sorry Karnage, I truly am... I...I had no idea. What is it about this house anyway?”

“I assume you noticed the mailbox outside? This used to be my house, a long time ago. A lot of things went down in this house. My mother was born and raised in this house and so was I. After losing to Cougar, I snapped. This place has a connection with me, it called for me. I had to come back.”

Now turning away from Leon in the hall, Karnage walks at a faster pace than what he was before. Not wanting to be left alone in the darkness, Kensworth follows. Upon reaching the end of the hall, Karnage opens a door that is clearly decaying. As both men enter the room, Kensworth is shocked to see a pool of dry blood on the old wooden floor. There is also blood spatter on all of the walls. The amount of blood is tremendous and Kensworth looks physically sick.

“What...What have you done!?”

“This wasn’t me you idiot, this was a long time ago. When I was a kid I was a troublemaker. My father couldn’t take the pressure of being a father and pissed off. He left my mother alone to deal with a son who had behaviour issues and borderline schizophrenia. I got into a lot of fights and even more trouble than I was worth. I started stealing stuff, it started out small but before I knew it I was stealing from guys who could have killed me before I even knew what was happening. Sometimes... Sometimes, I wish they had taken me.”

“What are you talking about Karnage? What happened in this house?”

“One night... One night, they came for her...”

“For who Karnage, for who?”

“They came for my mother. I was only a kid. The brought her in here and made me watch as they beat her, they made me watch while they killed her. I felt so helpless. I was weak. I remember screaming and screaming at them, telling them to leave her alone. I was so angry. No matter how many times I screamed at them they kept going. They were relentless. I still remember what they said to me as my mother lay in that exact spot, bleeding to death. They said: What is a pussy like you gonna do about it.”

“Oh my God! What happened?”

“The next day, I found the guy who did it and I hurt him. I didn’t mean to but I was just so overcome with guilt and anger that I couldn’t stop. I kept telling myself to stop but I couldn’t. By the time I stopped he was a bloody mess my arm was limp. Thanks to the justice system, I went to jail for a year and they didn’t believe me, a criminal, who killed my mother. He got off scot-free.”

“Why are you telling me this? Of all people, why me?”

“I’m telling you because you’re the only one who has tried to help me. I want to start a fresh but society won’t let me. In here I have peace, I am calm and collected and I can think straight. Thank you Leon but you better leave I have to get ready for my match at MD24. I hope you can help Sanna the same way you have tried to help me because when I get into that ring again, I can't promise what state of mind I will be in. Oh! and don’t forget your shoes.”
