[Vox walks through a landscape of rubble, in an environment that seems to have been war torn from years ago, and never fixed. It is gray, broken, and full of browned over gravel and broken buildings.]
Vox: *Pants moderately, taking in the destroyed landscape in front of him.*
Voice: *Breathes back, in-between the panting of Vox.*
[Vox sees a color unfamiliar to this place, the pristine white tail of a horse. Vox walks up to the tail, but as he nears closer, it vanishes. Vox goes to look for it, but he can't find it.]
Vox: *Pants heavily, fright in his voice.*
Voice: *Calmly breathes back, in-between the panting of Vox.*
[Vox is now running through this wasteland, finding it to be completely bereft of humanity, desperately searching for anything or anyone to find companionship with.]
Vox: *Gasps for air, getting just enough oxygen to keep from turning blue.*
Voice: *Calm breathes, almost leisurely.*
[Vox collapses to a knee, then to both knees. He is crawling towards a house that is somehow standing. It is dilapidated and in poor standing, but it is easily the most in shape place in this entire hellish landscape. He is bleeding out of his nose slightly. He crawls to a chair, pulls himself up, and finds a way to collapse himself into the chair.]
Vox: *Breathes as though air has finally filled his lungs. His face shows a euphoria so strong, he is unable to speak.*
Voice: *Snarls in its breaths, which come in-between the silence of Vox's breath.*
Vox: *Breathes in a more measured manner, almost silently*
Voice: *Breathes loudly, almost manically, in-between Vox's breaths.*
[Footsteps crushing gravel are heard, they near the house.]
Vox: *Breath continues to be measured, though louder than before.*
Voice: *Nearly silent, letting out only a slight wheeze before...*
[A LOUD THUD hits the window. The window is so dirty, Vox cannot see through it.]
Vox: *Breaths come at a higher, and slightly more manic pace.*
[There continues to be loud thuds at the window. They grow louder and more frequent, punctuating between Vox's breaths. Vox leaves the chair to open the window. As soon as he is stood up from the chair, he falls back to his knees.]
Vox: *Begins bleeding from his nose again, his breaths are strained, almost choking him.*
[The thuds continue, hitting so often it is though the sound doesn't have a chance to stop before the next one comes. Vox crawls desperately to the window, attempting to open it as though it is going to be the last thing he does before he draws his terminal breath. He opens the window, and a white dove flies in, just as white as the tail he saw before. Vox lays his body against the wall beneath the window, he is no longer breathing. The dove flies to him, landing on his shoulder, and proceeds to return him to the chair in the room.]
Vox: *begins breathing normally again*
[Voice begins to manifest itself through the Dove]
Dove (Voice): *Breathes in sync with Vox, at the same volume and pitch.*
[Vox starts to pet the Dove. First on top of its feathers, the begins to scratch it underneath. Vox smiles, making the thing that saved his life happy gives him more pleasure than anything else in the world.]
Dove (Voice): *Giggles*
Vox: *Giggles*
[A white horse enters the room, from the top floor of the house. it is the same white horse Vox saw before. As it reaches the room, the walls all turn an elegant purple. The horse comes face to face with Vox, and licks his face. The voice now is also emanating from Horse as well.]
Horse (Voice): *Breathes in*
Dove (Voice): *Breathes out*

Dove (Voice): *Breathes out*
Vox: *Hyperventilates*
[Horse tilts its head up, and begins to fountain out water. It is a vicious and thick stream, almost as if a fire hydrant had burst upwards.]
Vox: *Gasps for air*
[The room begins to flood with water. The water level that touches Vox turns a greener shade of blue than what is geysering out of Horse.]
Vox: *Is no longer breathing, his eyes roll back in his head and his clothes turn a blue that is associated with choking though his skin stays it's normal slightly-pale white. His clothes then turn a deathly pale.*
[Dove flies to the horse, and lands on its head. Dove opens its mouth, and sucks in all of the water in the room. Once the room is free of water, Horse turns a stark black, and dies instantly. Not even letting out a whimper, nor a thud as it hits the ground. There is no sound in the room anymore, except from the Dove.]
Dove (Voice): *Breathes in*
Vox: *Breathes out*

[Dove opens its mouth, and flies to Vox, landing on his shoulder again. It plucks a feather from its plumage, and places it on Vox's right hand. It alternates its colors between black and white. It returns to Vox's shoulder.]
Dove (Voice): *Breathes in*
Vox: *Breathes out*
Vox: *Breathes in*
Dove (Voice): *Breathes out.*
[All of the windows and doors of the house open simultaneously, and A LOUD SCREAM PUNCTURES THE AIR! It is of a high shrill and fear.]
Dove (Voice): *Calmly breathes in*
Vox: *Calmly breathes out.*
Vox: *Calmly breathes in*
Dove (Voice): *Calmly breathes out.*
[Vox awakens in his apartment. His bed drenched, presumably with sweat. He goes to reach for the light on his night stand. Upon doing so, he notices a tattoo of a Dove feather, changing its colors between Black and White.]
