Meltdown 118

  • Dorian Slaughter opens the show. He isn’t happy about the fans getting to pick the world title stipulation at Unscripted. He thinks WZCW Management should let him pick it if they knew what was best for them. Meltdown GM, Vance Bateman, comes out and tells him the fans will decide and that his match is up next.
  • Dorian Slaughter squashes Derek Jacobs via submission. Slaughter beats Jacobs post-match with a crowbar to a bloody pulp. Bateman comes out and pleads for him to stop. Bateman gives in and says Slaughte can pick a stipulation and Matt Tastic can pick a stipulation. The audience will pick between the two for their world title match at Unscripted. Slaughter continues beating Jacobs after getting his way. Out comes Matt Tastic for the save, but he gets hit in the ribs with the crowbar. Slaughter retreats.
  • El Califa Dragon defeats Bruce Irwin via pinfall.
  • Johnny Klamor interviews Eve Taylor and Kagura Ohzora about their upcoming tag match against Theron Daggershield and Chris K.O.. Eve says they must win to prove they deserve a rematch for the respective titles they lost. Gozaburo, Kagura’s manager, is concerned about Eve’s obsession with her lost EurAsian Title. Eve dismisses it.

  • Noah Ryder defeats a slightly injured Matt Tastic via pinfall in a huge upset. Dorian Slaughter provided a small direction at the end of the match. He ambushed Tastic after the match and announced that his choice of stipulation for Unscripted is a Street Fight.

Ascension 93

  • Ascension GM, Becky Serra, talks about tonight’s card from her office. The show is in Russia. There will be a tag title match and debuting superstars tonight.
  • The bad guys, Team Russia, come out to cheers since they are in their homeland. They run down the tag champions, Cerberus, until the champs come out. The two teams banter back and forth until they decide to have the tag title match right now. Serra comes out and says they need to hold off until the main event.
  • Cassanova squashes Prince via pinfall.
  • Leon Kensworth is interviewing Elite X Champion, elegANT, about who should be the final participants in the 4-way at Unscripted when Ty Burna shows up. Ty runs down ANT until the champ tells Ty he should be worried about someone else. Ty looks behind him to see a fleeing figure in the shadows.
  • Backstage we see Chris K.O. present Theron Daggershield with an idea on how to pick their stipulation for Unscripted. Round 2 of the Unscripted 2015 cycle saw many debuting superstars, as well as some huge upsets. WZCW wants to know what you thought of the shows. Feel free to answer some of the prompt questions below or start your own discussion on a certain aspect from this past round. We want to hear your voice, WZCW Universe.

1.) It's hard to say that anyone other than Noah Ryder had the most impressive debut. However, as a fan, what new superstar are you most excited to see weekly on WZCW TV from this point going forward?

2.) After Team Russia won via DQ on Ascension 93, they are surely in line for a rematch at Unscripted with the titles on the line. With absolutely no plans announced yet, what stipulation would you like to see the teams face off in? Keep in mind that the tag champions have already been in some pretty extreme stipulations the last two PPVs!

3.) Mikey Stormrage did a great job on Ascension 93 as special guest commentator. How did you feel about his presence on the show? Would you like to see more guest commentators in the future?

1.) Such a hard question to answer this round. I personally enjoyed all of their debuts and they are all destined to do some pretty cool stuff here. But if there's anybody I'd watch for, it would be Cassanova. Love to see a guy like him and maybe Ramparte, another literature nerd, duke it out over books or some shit. Reading is fundamental.

2.) I'd like to see Team Russia face Cerberus in something outside of the arena. Lots of people hate the idea of wrestling where a ring isn't involved, and there are companies out there who flop with such ideas...but WZCW could capitalize on it. Have them in something brutal. Something that all four monsters could really get in to. It would work.

3.) A thousand times yes. Guest commentators make it all the more special.

1.) Well, I'd go with Ryder. Undoubtedly, he had the best debut. It's not that easy to defeat the World Champ in your very first match.

2.) This needs a brutal war. An "I Quit" match or a street fight will define such a bloody feud.

3.) Stormrage entertains the hell out of me. His character is just lovable. And don't ignore the fact that Stormrage did some great job on commentatory.
