Number one, if this is some stupid character change, that is pretty shitty to do to your fans. People out there will seriously be worried about him. Number two, if it isn't and he is being serious, shouldn't someone call the cops? That really isn't something to joke about...
This is both fucking tragic, and in a very dark and macabre way also kind of humorous. But mostly tragic. I sincerely hope this is a joke and that he doesn't in fact wind up dead. As someone who has struggled with mental issues like manic depression and suicidal thoughts, I can relate to Matt and I would be crushed if he gave in to the demons and actually offed himself. Regardless of how you feel about Matt, no one deserves that.
That's disturbing either way. If it's legit, I hope there's someone around (family or friend) to step in. If it's some sort of a ploy, like Nate suggests, that's in horrible taste, and I hope no one rewards him for such a terrible work.

This guy has some serious issues for sure because if this is some kind of stupid stunt or joke or some shit about him being reborn or some such shit it is not funny at all. There are people that a genuinely sick out there that commit suicide and for him to make light of it like this, if that is the case, is doing nothing but showing that Matt Hardy is nothing more than one sick fucking twisted person.
When has Matt ever posted a suicide note on YouTube or otherwise publicly threatened to kill himself? He's always had troubles, but this is a first here.
I sincerely hope his friends and family are doing everything they can to reach him right now and prevent him from doing anything drastic. This looks like a cry for help, I can only hope he isn't serious about actually killing himself.

Everyone who says this is a gimmick, it seems weird he would post his actual birth date. He is saying goodbye to the world. The only thing that seems fishy to me is he enabled ads on his youtube video. If it was a true suicide video, why enable ads? I'm confused. I really do hope the cops are getting to his house. I see a lot of people saying they have called already...
I highly doubt this is a "work" guys, what this looks like to me is a cry for help. The guy very, very clearly has deep personal problems, he's getting fucked up constantly, he's being arrested constantly, he's clearly depressed and now he's making threats about suicide. This doesn't look like a "work" to get him publicity, what it looks like to me is one very deeply troubled man subconsciously crying for help because even he must realize by now that he's been in a tailspin and is ruining his life. He needs to be committed honestly. That would be the best thing for him right now, so he can try and figure his life out.

I hope this isnt a publicity stunt for Hardy's new gimmick, web site, or Twitter. Matt Hardy has clearly jumped the shark if this is a stunt. Why the fuck is he so depressed anyway?
He had a great job working for the 2nd biggest wrestling promotion in the US (after demanding his release from the biggest), he is close with his brother, he has a hot gf in Reby Sky, loads of money.....what's he got to be unhappy about? Not everyone gets to be world champion so it surely can't be that.
I understand depression is an illness (I have suffered myself in the past), but from the outside it looks like Matt has the kind of life that most people would kill for, being able to live his dream as a top level wrestler for the last decade, sleeping with loads of fit girls, making a great living and being close with his brother.
If he has slipped into addiction and this is causing his depression then its his own fault but I REALLY hope this is just a sick and unfunny work and that he doesn't genuinely want to kill himself. He was a hero of mine when I was growing up and I would be very sad to see him gone, even though he is a shadow of his former self these days.

With all due respect, depression doesn't always work like that. Sometimes it is, like you lose your job, a loved one and you start to feel helpless. Unfortunately some depression like bi-polar disorder or the depression many teenagers are subject to at times does require a prompt. I had a bout myself when I was about 16 where I didn't want to talk to my friends in school, wasn't hungry and cried a lot, but nothing caused it.
In this case I don't think there is any depression, though I don't really know. I think it's both a publicity stunt and a cry for help, because who in their right mind fakes a suicide when they still have thousands of loyal fans just as a stunt. There's clearly something wrong there somewhere.
