Mark Henry's 'Drink Throwing' Arrest

A slap on the wrist (with a shovel) and pay a fine. No biggie.
I met Mark Henry the morning after a house show. Apparently we were staying at the same hotel. I approached, he just looked mean, didn't say a word and got into his rental car. Apparently mountains aren't morning people....who knew?

Like many have said before me, who is to say exactly what happened because a lot of stupid stuff can happen when people are drunk. But a person in Mark Henry's place should certainly keep his cool as an "elite" WWE sports entertainer. TNA is the place for all the f-ups and that's where he might find himself. If I had anything to do anything to do with it, I would can Mark Henry's ass. He's had a cushy job for way too long and never drew a dime anyway. The WWE wouldn't miss him one bit.

Keifer Sutherland once said in a movie, "This is the sin of spin." This is no exception.

Every story where there is a victim involved has to have some added elements in order for people to get on the victim's side. We weren't there to witness the incident so the parties that were involved could say anything they want about how it all went down. For all we know, the cup thing and Chavo egging on Mark Henry could have been fabricated by the victim. In reality the incident may have went down this way:

Some fool gets an autograph and says something stupid to Mark Henry and walks away. Henry could have just been pissed off and stood up to make himself look intimidating. Guy turns around and wets his pants. Chavo was probably like "You were talking to Mark Henry, dude, you don't wanna mess with him."

In this story, it would make some nice "work chat", but there were no thrown cups, no vibrant conversation used, nothing that could help make this story a must see on websites around the internet world.

That's the sin of spin, baby.

My friend, I really hope if you ever go to court, you don't have to defend yourself, cause if so, you're fucked.

If I come at you with a knife, aiming for your throat, and I somehow miss, does that make everything cool? No biggie, right? Or say that was a chair he decided to throw instead of a drink. It's cool as long as it didn't hit the guy, even though the intention was TO HIT HIM.

Attempted assault is considered assault in the Criminal Code of Canada. I own one, I went to school to be a cop. Even if the drink was in a cup made of STYROFOAM, it would still be considered assault if there was a witness and the fellow decided he wanted to press charges. Mark is a pseudo-celebrity. He should know how to act in public. He should know the public have nothing to lose and everything to gain in a situation like that. It was his mistake and if this story is true, Mark Henry is the idiot and takes full responsibility. He really should grow up.

i think what the poster meant was that the fan shouldnt be a bitch about it, after all the drink didnt hit him and so most people would just let it slide, no harm done right? mark henry didnt come at him with a knife or throw a chair at him so you're blowing this way out of proportion. Even if the drink hit him, the incident would be highly unlikely to go to court or for Mark to get any form of sentence because they let scumbags get away with all sorts of worse shit nowadays and so I think the drink that didnt even hit the fan would just get swept under the carpet as it should be

A Caution is just that... the story stated that Henry got one... there will be no more to this from a criminal standpoint as the police dealt with it.. He basically got told no to do it again. Alcohol probably was not involved as it would have been more serious (the UK and ireland are cracking down on "binge drinking" right now... There would have been Drunk and Disorderly ala Jericho involved.

Sounds like Henry snapped cos of being on the road for too long... in WWE terms he would be fine, as they would have a hard time justifying a release of anyone who screwed up after that crazy travel schedule they had endured just to get to Belfast.

I think this is all lies. Maybe Mark did spill a drink on the fan but on accident. You know how many fans try to get stars in trouble just to get the money from them. I think by next week everyone will forget this even happend.

On the other hand, I hope Vince uses this as justification for firing him, whether it's his fault or not. (Others have been fired for ridiculous reasons, too.) He is useless. At least find a jobber who is easier on the eyes.
