Not the only fights, but all the major fights. Some quality fights coming up, actually. I figured I'd do this every month, just to keep those that are interested aware of the dates and channels.

Thank you. I will be looking forward to Vitali's fight for sure. Cotto-Mayorga is another one I am highly anticipating. I think Cotto is going to floor Mayorga for the win and I can't wait to watch it Saturday night.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. David Medina

Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Jorge Solis

These are the fights to watch though. Gamboa is a very entertaining fighter to watch and he is a total badass. Chaves Jr and Medina are also great fighters on the rise and will put on a great match. I urge everyone who reads this to watch these fights by any means necessary. Get onto JustinTV, do whatever, just don't miss these two fights as they will be worth your time and effort.

Definitely some great fights coming up.

Sergio Martinez vs. Sergei Dzinziruk - Don't know anything about Dzinziruk to be completely honest, but Sergio is a fucking beast and always a pleasure to watch. Hopefully he can continue his run by getting another knock out to his name. His knockout on Paul Williams a few months ago was one of the most incredible, devastating things I've ever seen in a boxing ring.

Miguel Cotto vs. Ricardo Mayorga - Should be REALLY fun to see Mayorga get his fucking ass kicked. Miguel Cotto is pound-for-pound one of the best boxers in the World, while Mayorga is and always has been a fucking joke. The only reason Mayorga gets fights like is because he has a big mouth; that's literally it.

Yuri Foreman vs. Pawel Wolak I'm really rooting for Yuri Foreman to turn things around after the Cotto fight. There's no shame to losing to a guy like Miguel Cotto, but still... that lost hurt. I don't know much about Yuri's opponent here, but I expect Yuri Foreman to look the best he's ever had and whoop this guy's ass.

Vitali Klitschko vs. Odlanier Solis - Vitali is easily my favorite Heavyweight Fighter, so I'm always down to watch him get some ass. It'll be fun to watch him put yet another title around his waist.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. David Medina - If Chavez Jr. fights anything like his father, then he has a fan in me. I need to look some of his stuff up on Youtube.

Chavez is a bit like his father as in he's a durable enough fighter. However, I don't think he has the dedication. He's young, though. Bigger and a bit faster than his father way, though.

This fight ended up being pretty entertaining. I thought Cotto would just dominate it throughout the fight. Cotto was definitely ahead by a good amount by the time it was stopped in the beginning of the 12th round. Mayorga was hanging in there though. Mayorga was trying to brawl, and Cotto kept it technical not getting drawn in by Mayorga. Mayorga landed some good shots, but it didn't seem to hurt Cotto at all. The injury Mayorga suffered in the 12th looked weird. I didn't see him hurt his thumb/hand at all. All of sudden Cotto clocks him with a left which sends Mayorga back, taking a knee holding out his hand. It just looked out of place, I didn't even see the hurt hand throw a punch before he went down. Still a pretty good fight for Cotto, hopefully he see him get a rematch with Margrarito next. As for Mayorga, he'll probably get another big fight, for putting on an exciting fight.

Like you, I didn't know much about Wolak either. Only learned about him by checking out his stats during the fight. Then remembered seeing him on the undercard of Foreman/Cotto. Definitely a tough fight for Foreman, as Wolak is a ranked in the top ten for Light Middleweights, and coming back from knee surgery. Wolak just dominated the fight until Foreman's corner didn't allow him to answer the bell for the 7th round. Hopefully it isn't the end for Foreman, I like him to take some time off, then come back against a few guys just outside the ranks, to build himself back up. He's only 30, which is like being middle aged for a fighter, so he still has some time left to get his self together and make a run up to the top.

Sergio Martinez is pound for pound the best boxer on the planet. I said it. I think the guy could whoop anyone in and around his weight division, including Pacman and Mayweather. The guy's style is absolutely flawless. His elusiveness and athleticism are unreal, and he's developed some incredible punching power. I do not see anyone beating this man any time soon if he continues down this path. James Kirkland will be an interesting match for him (and will undoubtedly be Fight of the Year if it happens), but Kirkland needs another win or two before he can get to Martinez.

Andy Lee vs. Craig McKewan from the undercard of Martinez/Dzinziruk had one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen in fighting. Not just boxing, but fighting period. McKewan whooped Andy Lee's ass for the first 8 rounds, only for Lee to come back in the 9th and 10th to floor McKewan. It was unbelievable. What heart shown by Andy Lee, because his career would have been over if he lost last night. But, I have to say at the same time that McKewan handed that fight to him. He gassed, and Lee took full advantage of it. It was still an amazing thing to witness though. I still can't believe it.

And I have yet to watch Miguel Cotto vs. Ricardo Mayorga or Yuri Foreman vs. Pawel Wolak, but I read the results and was surprised to see that Mayorga actually put up a good fight. Fucking shocking... I guess he finally took something seriously besides his trash talk for a change. Definitely looking forward to watching that one. And of course I was disappointed to here about Yuri Formean losing once again. He won't be able to rebound from two dominating losses... damn shame.

Honestly, last night was one of the better nights in boxing in a while. All good fights. Cotto-Mayorga was good and it might have been the least impressive of the fights. Which isn't a knock on Cotto-Mayorga, it was simply a brilliant night.

Foreman-Wolak, while it was a beat down, was a good fight.

As JMT stated, Lee-McEwan was one of the best come-from-behind victories I've seen in the last decade. Easily. First round, Lee. Then, he gets pummeled for the next 7 or 8 rounds. Then, he manages to save the fight and his career with a knockout win. Incredible.

Martinez was brilliant. Dzinziruk isn't a slouch by any means, either. Martinez made him look relatively basic. Martinez had his knees buckled, but otherwise; he was elusive, outjabbed a jabber and got a stopage against a defensive guy who's never been dropped and had never lost.

Very fun night of boxing. Good shit all around.

Had a great little saturday, was at the Burns/Laryea fight and it was a decent little fight which burns dominated, hopefully he gets his unification bout with Fana next as the kid is totally dedicated to the sport and im glad he is getting a few defences in and getting a decent payday as he was still working in a sports shop up until he won the WBO SFW title last summer.

Martinez is what he is, a beast who has all the tools, he made Dzin look very ordinary, which he isnt, he is definately number 2 on my p4p list and i hope he secures a big fight soon. I dont really see any big fights out there for him other than a rubber match with P-Will. But that wouldnt end well for the American. One thing i will say about Sergio is he one handsome bastard(no homo) and if he had got a chance 7 or 8 years ago he could have been the face of the sport, time is not on his side though.

What a great little fight Cotto/Mayorga was, i love watching Ricardo as he is such a badass, that moment in round 2 or 3 where he went over to the corner and motioned Cotto into the corner for a brawl was amazing, i was instantly reminded of Mayorga/Trinidad in the most badass moment i have ever seen in boxing, its a pity he never really took his career more seriously as he was tough as nails and P4P best shittalker since Ali.

The best fight of the weekend was on the Martinez undercard in a celtic battle between Andy Lee and Craig McEwan. This was an absolute war and McEwan was winning on all scorecards going into the final round, but his stamina let him down again and Lee decked him and forced the referee stoppage for the come from behind win. Credit to Lee, a great little fight.

I'd love to see the Ricky Burns/Mzonke Fana bout. It would crown The Ring Magazine World Jr. Lightweight Champion. Any fight that allows for more definitive champions is a good fight in my opinion and both fighters are solid, to be more impressive.

Anybody else catch the quick work Vitali made of Solis?

That punch Vitali landed in the last 10 seconds didn't seem to look that powerful at all. It looks like after Solis was hit he took a back step and planted his foot wrong which probably led to him messing up his knee. You see him clutch his knee as soon as went down.

Even if the knee injury didn't happen I think Vitali would've closed the fight out within 5 rounds anyways. He just towered over Solis. He looked great physically and his boxing looked crisp as ever.

Since UFN was on Saturday night, I had to pass on the Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Jorge Solis fight, but I got to watch it earlier today, and man.... Gamboa is a fucking MONSTER.

This was my third or forth time watching Gamboa fight and the kid just blows me away every single time. He has to have the fastest hands in all of fighting, no competition. And his opponent last night, Jorge Solis, who fought Manny Pacquiao in 2007, said Gamboa hits harder than Pacquiao. Wow! And realize, he's not just blowing smoke up Gamboa's ass. Gamboa put Solis away in 4 rounds, whereas it took Pacquiao 8 rounds to put him away and he didn't knock Solis down nearly as many times as Gamboa did.

So, yeah... Yuriorkis Gamboa is one little fucking monster, man. He had his flaws, but it looks like he's gotten a handle on those. I don't see any Featherweight defeating him anytime soon.
