Dixie Carter has confirmed via social media that episodes of Impact Wrestling as well as the first 2 of 2014's "One Night Only" PPV's will all be taped during TNA's annual UK Tour.

TNA: Impact Wrestling will be eminating "Live" for the first time in it's history from Glasgow, Scotland at The SSE Hydro. More tapings will take place at London England's Wembley arena where 2 episodes of Impact Wrestling took place last year. A PPV entitled "British Empire Cup" will be taped at Manchester's Phones 4u Arena and "Joker's Wild 2" will be taped at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.

Why they didn't try to get Genesis over there is beyond me. But something's better than nothing I guess. TNA makes a very strong presence in the UK and they clearly wanna take advantage of that. One detail does bug me about all thing taking place: Jeff Hardy. As far as I know, Hardy is not allowed to travel due to his past legal issues which caused an issue last year where he wasn't on TV for a month even though he was TNA Champion. Hopefully we get an update on that.

This is actually smart. Four big events in England, all with TV / PPV potential might be a great thing if they plan on moving there full time.

Moving to England can insure a lot of things for TNA, one of them is the contract with Spike will be nulled. This would allow TNA to "shop" around for a new channel that is related to Sky Sports in England.

This is brilliant on TNA's part actually. They get great crowds overseas and can't go live because of the time difference. If you want to continue on with these One Night Only PPVs, this is actually the best way to do it. Doing the British Cup is a good idea? Doing the Jokers' Wild I think is a waste. I would actually do a World X Cup as well. Use the ONO PPVs as tournament shows. When you're going to go overseas anyways, don't bother doing house shows. Make them worth something.
