MAJOR SPOILER

That's right, the ever flamboyant, undefeated Heath Slater is gonna be Mr. MITB.

This news makes me want to laugh and puke at the same time.

EDIT: I'd still take that over most anyone else in the match winning.

Christian is one of the most over faces in the company.

It is a little sad when the person wit the best chance of winning MiTB is Beth Phoenix...though I will mark the fuck out whe she does.

If I could figure out how to do the line slash through the name I would correct you Doc and replace Bethany with Handsome Heath. But alas, I have no idea, so this post was pretty useless.

BREAKING NEWS! Studio images found of Beth with the briefcase and title!

This is so awesome...Beth is going to win it!

Ha! And Christian has a better chance? Who let their contract run out, jumped ship to TNA, and came back with their tail between their legs. McMahon wouldn't even let him be the last ECW Champion, and gave that *honor* to Ezekiel Jackson.
Christian was the hottest midcarder in the WWE coming into this year. He's the only man other than Bobby Lashley to hold the ECW Championship twice in the WWE. He's been built up better for this than CM Punk.

Take your conspiracy theories and your fucking tin foil hat elsewhere. You aren't fooling anyone here.

Before we get all quote crazy on my ass, note that I am not knocking Christian's talents (at least, not right now), but that his place in the match is the same as Kane's: to make the rest of the noobs look like they can compete with some *top* guys.
Kane's a JTTS. Christian just completed two majors stretches as the top midcard champion in the WWE. Don't for one second think you're actually on to something.

Also, Drew doesn't have much of a chance at all. The last guy to hold the IC and a World title at the same time? Wasn't it Ultimate Warrior? Yeah, no, Drew is not repeating that feat (and may NorCal strike me down were it to be otherwise).
You're right. It's not like he's getting a huge push or anything or has the right friends. No, nevermind. That's exactly what he has going for him.

He doesn't win both titles if he wins MITB. You know that, right? So if he wins, he's on the same level RVD was on at one point. And despite how awesome RVD was and his potential to breakout in a big way in 2001 and 2002, he was seen as a midcarder. I see no reason why Drew can't match that feat.

You'll be waiting a long time for it. There's not much point advertising a house show in Wales to people in America.
I just felt like quoting this.

Gotta disagree there Deej. Beth Phoenix has the look of a champion. This news has made her my favorite to win. Bravo WWE for trying something so new and unpredictable.

If Phoenix won the MITB and the world title it would be as worse as when David Arquette won it, she cant legitimatly hold the main singles belt, I know you want this to happen and it would be the coolest thing ever to see it but i hugely doubt it.

Secondly Doc i know you doctored (no pun intended) those photos, its nice though to see you pulling for beth :)

Why can't she hold the title? Because she's a woman? Dude, all they'd need to do is let her win MITB as a surprise and then start squashing male jobbers, then Zack Ryder, then midcarders. Beth is strong, and her being the first woman to hold the WHC could do wonders for WWE's public image.

If Beth wins the MITB match, I'm sure that she will not use it to win any heavyweight title. She will win the womens title by her own. She might cash in the case for the Divas title. And she will just unified the womens and the Divas title.

By what standard? Holding the WWECW Championship twice is a feat of excellence or a show of confidence? Where's Lashley now, btw? He's been built up to be Matt Hardy 2.0; a talented but flawed performer that can get decent pops depending on the area, and will never be able to escape the limelight of their ex-tag parter.

Take your conspiracy theories and your fucking tin foil hat elsewhere. You aren't fooling anyone here.

What the hell is this? Am I supposed to take you seriously? Did I mention conspiracies, or Roswell, of FBI secret takeovers of your water supply? You seem like a smart guy, but I just can't take you seriously with a comment like that.

Whoa there. Whoa. There. Calm the hell down, vato. Christian just completed two major stretches with a jabroni title for the dying ECW brand.

And anyway, that's how matches like this are booked, silly; drop in some noobs with some seasoned (well, often overcooked) pros so people don't write it off as unimportant.

You're right. It's not like he's getting a huge push or anything or has the right friends. No, nevermind. That's exactly what he has going for him.

No, Sheamus got a huge push. McIntyre has gotten a push like a schizo. They forget him for a few weeks, and then push really hard that "Oh yeah, remember he's undefeated*, oh yeah, he's the Chosen One". They make him look weak against most everyone. Except one local jobber. Yep, huge push.

Try again, chief.

Oh and thanks for my first red rep.

It sounds pretty logical having Beth Phoenix win MITB.

She gets the case, cashes it in and wins the championship (I'm going to say WWE because she isn't a heavyweight and it would be more believable to win). Awesome Kong signs with the WWE and smokes through the male competition to earn a shot at Beth's belt.

Finally, women wrestlers can say a big "fuck you" to all the people with selective bladders by having the main event of the PPV being Awesome Kong vs. Beth Phoenix for the WWE Championship.

Vince won't hire Kong due to her not being "attractive" enough and not "blond" enough

How come Mickie James is a 5x Women's Champion with 1 Diva Title reign and the WWE gave Angelina Love the boot?

Angelina Love is blonde and attractive enough for the division, yet they constantly tease Mickie about her weight issues.

1. Apparently, the reasoning behind giving the belt to Zeek was that they felt he needed that extra nudge going to a different brand. They wanted to make him seem a more credible superstar.

2. RVD had the IC belt AND the Briefcase at the same time.

On top of that in 2002 when it was unified with the wwe championship
