I know for some people, this may be, not the right thing, in the sense, that there is only one original member, surviving. Well in my opinion, as long there is atleast one original member (W.A.S.P., Whitesnake are great examples, of one orginal member ((not that im comparing them to Lynyrd Skynyrd)), but I think they should keep going, and listening to their new stuff, they are still kicking Arse. I want to get everybodyies opinion on this album.
I have never really been a fan of Skynyrd, Sweet Home Alabama is not bad, but Freebird is Better, and although that isnt my favourite song, I would personally buy a Whitesnake record over Skynyrd Record but that IS my opinion. Anyway, back to the point, I heared Still Unbroken on a CD from Classic Rock Magazine out of the UK, and I was how would some say it....Blown Away. Considering I am not a big fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd, I really loved this song, as does a friend of mine. I really loved how this song protrays the bands feelings after all the trouble they have had over the passed 30 odd years. I do hope this album is a success, and although this album wont be their best for some of their older fans, it will certainly get them some newer fans, it has a small element of their older stuff, but majority of it, is modern, a little heavier and is awesome, I really like Still Unbroken, and if that is anything to go by, then this Album, should be a pretty good comeback for the band...
