It's a fantasy novel about a young man named Alysandros who kidnaps a baby girl named Ludmilla to save her life but doing so turns him into a deserter and outcast and even his own father believes him to be a murderer, kidnapper and deserter. It gets very bloody, heart-wrenching and I really put him through the grinder but I hope you'll find his journey inspiring and the hardship he goes through uplifting.
