To our fans:

After nearly a year of coming to terms with our heartache, we finally feel ready to announce publicly what we have thought privately for some time. We can no longer continue making or performing music as Lostprophets. Your love and support over the past 15 years has been tremendous, and we'll be forever grateful for all you've given us. As we look forward to the next phase of our lives, we can only hope to be surrounded by people as devoted and inspiring as you guys have been.

Can't say I'm surprised really. their frontman Ian Watkins is being charged with several counts of peadophilia and even beastiality. I mean regardless of if he's found guilty or innocent he's going to be carrying the stigma with him forever and the other members of the band would as well by association. I mean Michael Jackson never really shook it off and he was the biggest pop star of all time.

That's shit but I understand the reasoning. The allegations towards Watkins' are disturbing and even if he was innocent, it is something that can never be forgotten. They are my favourite band and I will still listen to their music regardless of what happens to Watkins.
