This episode flew by. Loved every second of it.

OK so now X Desmond set's off to round up the X 815 and show them the other world, although for what purpose I'm not totally certain.
All the while Desmond, seemingly being the only person able to withstand the machine realises there is an X universe but we've no idea what he plans to do about it.

So Desmond is the messenger then, in both worlds.

I think this is getting heavily into Donnie Darko territory regarding wormholes, metal objects, travellers and things existing where they're not supposed to.

Also, somewhat surprised that Sayid let that woman live.
