Here are some personal notes from last night's show:

All the stars arrived at the arena at about 12:00-12:30 and stayed in the arena.

At about 6:15, I was walking in the underground hallway, and saw Sargeant Slaughter walking to the locker room. He didn't say hi to anyone, just walked through the door.

It was great to seeBob Holly's return. He was great and better then ever.

At mayve 6:28, one of the security guys at ringside pulled out the Smackdown script plan and I read the spoilers before the show even started! He saw me reading it and turned away.

As usual, pyro is louder and better in person.

During the break, everyone chanted "Scotty Charisma" to the wrestler who faced the Elijah Burke. It's his stage name.

During the Tatanka-Sylvan match, I took that time to meet Sign Guy and get a picture with him.

We popped loud for the Brooklyn Brawler and laughed at Vito.

During the Hotty/Funaki vs. Pretty Boys (???) match, we chanted "Boring" and "We want Raw". The new guys missed the finishing move and the finish looked really bad for a debut.

We booed Chavo, but whenever he mentioned Rey, we'd boo. We chanted "Thank you Chavo"

The main event was King Booker vs. Undertaker. I don't know if this was dark, but it looked live. Short match, Khali came out and Undertaker beat him up, and challenged him to a Last Man Standing match at Summerslam.

I noticed the Hogan guy as soon as I saw him. The guy playing him was walking around backstage earlier.

As a New Jerseyian, it was my duty to boo the hell out of John Cena, as did everyone else.

Overall good show, seemed that Smackdown was just a bunch of matches while Raw was actually a show... i don't know.

Well, I just searched "wwe sign guy" on google...come to find out he's just a fan. He doesn't work for the WWE, he doesn't know any of the wrestlers, and he says his credit cards are pretty much maxed out.

I agree SD! is good for there wrestling and Raw is good for there promos which most of the time are boring or pointless...

NO I TOTALLY AGREE! Smackdown has good, solid wrestling, and Raw has quick matches usually always ending in an interfearence to continue a rivalry. Raw is about rivalries and promos, while smackdown is solid wresltling

Plus they have better tag team matches than RAW has. London/Kendrick is a good tag team and at GAB and Judgement Day they had great tag team matches.I hope they defend their titles at SS...

i think smackdown is crap, great american bash was a disgrace, raw is so much better, the card at vengeance was far better as well and rightly so, it is the #1 show and where legends and mcmahons usually appear

Vengance was horrible, i only orderd because DX came back, and what a dissapointment that has become, So what RAW may get legends, nothing screams cool like a 60 year old guy with a hip replacement, no i don't hate Hogan i think he's the greatest sports entertainer of all time but still nobody really cares that much IMO, and any time the McMahons appear were guaranteed crappy promos or Vince's ass.

SD! may have alot of their wrestlers inactive but still they have given way better wrestling and nice and short promos than RAW, all we see there are DX who aren't funny, a wannabe Samoa Joe, Vince's ass, stupid and lenghty promos. SD! has also had the best Brand only (except for ONS) GAB and JD>>>>>>Any Brand Exclusive RAW PPV.

Smackdown is really boring. Yes they have the wrestling but the same old stuff. King Booker, come give me a break its a joke. The only thing they need to do is put Lashley, Batista, Undertaker back on Raw. They have no good contiders for the belt besides them three. If they could make it as good as it was I would not have a problem. They bring in these little guys for the big to beat up on. They don't build up the story lines any more.

You probally like it because of the promos. RAW's wrestling is crap.They only have good wrestling at their pay per views...SD! always has good wrestling. Just because they dont have the best roster dont mean there crap.The guys they have(most of them anyway)can wrestle.It doesnt matter who it is.The bash was pretty awesome.Punjabi prison match was good.The opening tag match was good.The championship match was good.The divas match was ok.The vengence ppv was good just like GAB.I dont compare ppv's for the simple fact that they both give it there all.You see SD! barely have promos and if they do there not very good but Raw on the other hand have great promos tht are sometimes pointless and a waste of time but RAW has matches that only go for 5 minutes.They mostly have squash matches.I still think SD! is better wrestling and thats why you watch wrestling for the wrestling not the dumb promos...

ok, my favourite wrestler by a country mile is the undertaker and he is on smackdown, i thought the great american bash was a disgrace, but to be fair 3 main eventers (all 3 of which were in the 3 biggest matches of the night) were injured. raw's promo's are better, no doubting that but the wresetling is still good, they build up to ppv's far better and whenever mcmahon's r on screen, i think it's great, they are always in feuds with main eventers so more hype. the only problem with both show is the tag team division, they are both in the depths.

raw = 8/10
smackdown = 5/10

I would also chant" Thank U Chavo" but instead of Chaovo I would say "thank U Quitter" and "Rey sux Rey sux" and "All hail King Booker".

Jersey always has the best crowd! Glad you booed Cena!! Wish I could have been there, but couldn't get tickets.

I don't know why people boo Rey Rey, it's not his fault his moves have watered down, he's one of the best wrestlers currently in the WWE and he's always been over and he's always been in the Main Event scene, the WWE just made him look like a weak champion that's all.

I'll BOO him and Flair tha loudest I can I hate those 2. Rey is a CruiserWeight Champ not a World HeavyWeight Champ. Eddie is a World Champ not Gay Rey. And I don't even have to explain why I hate Flair it's obvious.

Actually you shouldnt get mad at Rey for his moves sucking.WWE's fault they dont make Rey go to his full potential.I know if he was in TNA ...he can be big in X division and his moves would be way better...

I feel bad for Rey. He's an amazing wrestler, and they just don't let him do much in the ring. He's done some crazy stuff, wish they could let all of his talent shine through.

I miss the old smackdown, Brock vs Taker, Taker vs Kurt, Kurt vs Brock, Rey had some of his best matches but have been toned down lately. I just wish Smackdown would be live. Anyone know why Smackdown isnt live?
