You got a good young player in Allen, should give you the pass rush you need. The problem still lies with your QB.

I would rather have Allen then a first round pick. I started a thread in the sports section about how first rounders are over rated and its better to trade them for a proven stud. The problem still is and will be all season, Jackson. He's a game killer.

Thats why they should have traded for a QB, Jackson may have been the worst starter last year. The Vikes may have made the playoffs if they had a better QB.

I know they could have made the playoffs with a better QB. The Washington game was a huge chance to clinch the playoffs at home and he threw two picks right off the bat and killed the crowd. Not to mention we probably would have already been in with a better QB. Even if we would have nabbed Jeff Garcia last year we'd have been a playoff team.

EDIT- The only competition Jackson had for worst starter was Kelly Holcomb and Brooks Bollinger who unfortunately for me, were their only other options. Its a "lets pick who sucks the least this week" QB situation.

hm. could just be dudes lying trying to get others to ffer trades. entirely possible. But seriously, Goodell needs to impose a rule were Draft picks CAN NOT be revealed before the actual draft.

This year's draft class is average at best. The only reason I'm even paying attention to it is to see what the Pats do with the 7th pick. That should be very interesting, and very unpredictable.

Both would fit in very well in that defense, and you could use the youth.
