Generally nothing is ever truly free. And with that profound statement out of the way I shall move away from the possible deep meditation I could do on this subject and move on to the actual topic of this article
There is a music site which I frequent and I think I can't actually name due to the rules here, which as one of its many features allows downloads of songs which artists have put online for free throughout the web.
Generally as is with the way of new music there are a wide number of artists to which I am ambivalent or dislike, but the website has allowed me to listen to a lot of artists from all around the would which is actually pretty cool
Two of the artists I would like to draw your attention to today are both Russian and the third Italian. The bands are namely Mujuice, Everything is Made in China, and finally Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica.
The first of these, Mujuice composes minimalist electronic music. I remember first hearing the song I am going to show you- Moonboy- late at night one night while I was meant to be writing an essay. It had an immediate effect on me, the music at different times seeming haunting and yet comprised of a strange childlike innocence. Even when I listen to it now in the cold light of an autumn midday, it still retains its magic and I can't help but smile as I listen to it. I probably shouldn't hit you with what I think is the best first but it is my favourite song out of the three

The second artist I would like to highlight, is Everything is Made in China. They are the most conventional of the three artists, as they are actually a full band and they sing completely in English. In fact when I first heard this I would have imagined they were American rather than Russian. They play in a post rock, indie style which is getting fairly popular on the radio at the moment. While the music may not have the full weight of emotion that the other two here perhaps have, it is the most easily accessible to the public and I quite like them. While the band still needs a bit of tightening up I still think they have something about them.

Finally we move on to an Italian singer-songwriter by the name of Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica. Generally I don't like singer-songwriters, they tend to all sound derivative. This artist (it gets a bit tiring to keep typing out his entire name) sounds completely different to anything I have heard before seemingly combining the rage and frustration of a punk vocalist into an acoustic performance. Despite him singing in Italian, I think the emotion he expresses can speak to us all. Despite having no idea what it means I find myself singing along to his angry scream of a chorus.

So yes, there are three little known artists I found recently. What do you guys think- anyone interested in any of the three?
