Lex Luger after WCW Buyout

Lex Luger and the other huge WCW stars with huge contracts some worth 6 to 7 figures and they choose not to join the WWE because of there guaranteed WCW contracts worth big money so they basically got paid to sit on there ass if they would of joined the WWE right after the buyout they would of had to work for the WWE for lesser non guaranteed money

I think part of it was Luger burned that bridge when he showed up on Nitro, and most of it was he chose to sit at home and collect the rest of his contract. I was always a Luger fan, but at that point I don't think he would have made that much of a difference anyway. Wasn't he into drugs pretty heavy to around that time? I think there were a lot of different things working against him at that point, but like has been said I think the bottom line was he choose to sit and collect the duration of his contract.
