Left Out In The (Yoshi) Dust?

I'm Literally Just Here for WZCW
During the last legs of the former third brand of ECW, Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust formed a tag team that made itself into a credible showing... even getting a championship opportunity for the titles on the last show. Then, they later get moved to RAW and... well... what's happened? Yoshi has been mainly appearing on Superstars and Goldust got a spot here or there... to ultimately get placed as a pro on NXT season three. Whilst RAW is stacked with a huge amount of guys at the moment and I can understand them not getting a permanent spot on RAW each week... why hasn't the WWE continued with the tag team that these two created?

Yoshi Tatsu is a young guy who can perform well in wrestling matches, offering smooth and consistent performances every time he steps into the ring. Goldust, athough ranking up there in the age, is riding a second prime in his career. He is the quickest I have ever seen him and wrestles a lot better than most, as well as maintain his character and a crowd following. These two together are a match made in heaven and since neither of them will be acheiving any singles success any time soon, so why not allow them to compete in tag team action? The division sorely needs teams right now and challengers, considering the Hart Dynasty have been left of the show as of late.

So yeah, my main question is: Would it be beneficial for the WWE to re-create the tag team between Tatsu and Goldilocks, or allow them to stay on their separate paths?

Beneficial for them, beneficial for us as viewers, or beneficial for the company?

Beneficial for them, yes, because I forgot yoshi was even still around and I'm sure he'd love being given something to do.

Beneficial for us? Maybe. I wouldn't mind yoshi being given an opportunity to shine and show off what he can do. To be honest, I've kind of forgotten how his in ring skills are but I don't remember not being entertained (if that double negative makes sense).

Beneficial for the company? Probably not. These two are not going to give the tag team titles the adrenaline shot it desperately needs for the titles or a tag division to be taken seriously or to mean anything. Honestly, I don't see them as legitimate contenders and if they were to win titles, likely mere transitional champions.

I highly doubt it. Sure it could be entertaining and it could give Yoshi something to do. But it will be very unlikely that it will spark any interest, or for that sake benefit WWE by recreating this team.

Yoshi is slightly over, but overall I find him incredibly boring to watch. Both in the ring as well as on the microphone, he lacks that kind of interest that a Japanese guy actually has the potential of drawing (Tajiri anybody?). Tajiri was great, however Yoshi is hardly anywhere near Tajiri in my opinion. That will hurt him a lot, and Golddust is getting older, like to the point that he's hardly that interesting to watch, or for that sake able to draw / hold a championship and make it worthwhile.

Golddust and Yoshi really should do their things. Golddust can do his sporadic appearances and NXT stuff. Yoshi can stay off my screen.

Yoshi Tatsu had a lot of potential in his first few showings back on ECW. I enjoyed his energy and the surprise victories he got to pull. However, once ECW dissipated, nothing was left for him to pursue. He won some battle royal and then faded. I can't remember the last match he was in. Without a Cruiserweight division and any necessary factor of distinction, I don't see a long WWE career for this guy...unless he gets reduced to Funaki #2.

Goldust is great in the ring. At this point in his career, he's best as enhancement talent. He has nothing left to prove and his greatest moments were in the 90's. Well, with the exception of his work with Booker T in 2002. That was gold. Pairing him up with Yoshi Tatsu was worthwhile viewing, but nothing worth long-term. A Tag Team Championship run by these guys would have been as forgettable as what either of them are doing now.

i dont think wwe is gonna put those 2 back as a tag team. as much as wwe needs tag teams and goldust and yoshi need a push there tag team was pretty much a comedy team and now they got replaced by santino and kozlov

It would be beneficial to the wrestler's, to the fans of each respective performer, but not to the WWE, nor the tag team division.

Why?

Two men - Santino Marella and Vladimir Koslov.

For Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu to get over enough to hold the belts, they would need some sort of hook. Looking at the pair of them, and the odd couple that they are, the obvious way to do that would be as a comedy tag team.
But that position is already filled, occasionally, by Kosarella. And WWE has invested a fair chunk of their Raw minutes trying to get these two over as a team. More than most other tag teams get.
Goldust has been used as a tag team partner in one way or another, ever since he stopped being heel. Sometimes this has worked (Booker T), and sometimes not (with a terrible face Snitsky).
While their team may have worked in WWECW, and could probably work again, it will not as long as Koslov and Marella are together.

That being said, with Raw becoming increasingly a variety show rather than a wrestling show, they could start a fued over who is funnier, with Doink the Clown as guest referee.

His theme song makes me cry. I miss Taijiri days. Not to mention Santino pre WWE was actually intimidating. Tatsu is currently a thrown bone by all appearances, little more.

I forgot Yoshi was still on the roster. He isn't even on Superstars that often. Yes it would be good to see him and Goldust as a team in the sense that we get to see them both and they would have something to do. While They wouldn't be the cure to the tag team division, they would still be a help to the division. The tag team division needs teams and the Hart Dynasty needs more teams to face. So yeah, put them back together. They were funny and fun to see in the ring and it would give the tag team division some more exposure.

I can't see the point of them putting Goldust and Tatsu back together as a tag team because Santino and Kozlov are now the comedy tag team (Goldust and Tatsu was basically a comedy team). As much as WWE need tag teams they don't need Goldust and Tatsu, as I said already we've alreay got Santino and Kozlov.

i think santino and kozlov are a comedy tag team but i think that tatsu and goldust should be back together and i think could be seeing gold from the heart dynasty

i think that tatsu and golddust were a great team and they were just split up. the thing is on raw they only have one big dtory line and that is nexus and john cena and all the matches are about them and there might be a odd stroyline about miz and bryan but all the big superstars are on raw and thats why they made a 6 pac challange coz they have so many superstars wanting the chance of the title.

if they want to make a comeback i think that a move to smackdown should be on the cards and at least then they might get a spot on the card and i think thank wwe superstars is not the way to go.

look at vance archer and curt hawkins they are on smackdown and aint doind that bad.

I don't see what it could hurt, but I am not sure it will get either of them off of Superstars. They'll add a bit to the division but it's doubtful they'll get a title run. The one tag team on the roster that I want to see reformed is Cryme Tyme, and they deserve a run with the titles.

As of right now I believe they could use any tag team they could possibly find. Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust worked well together and I would see no problem with them teaming up again.
