Lee's top 10 not in the BZT

Lee

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Supermod!
Ten
MacGyver

Armed with a paperclip Angus MacGyver is able to build a nuclear weapon to destroy anyone out. Your super is fine with nuclear weapons? Give him a rubber band and you will see true damage.

Nine
Zorro

He has a cool hat, a horse, and is the best at carving the letter 'Z' into shirts. Zorro is the hero of California and my third favourite masked man.

Eight
Merlin

Behind every great man is a great woman. In King Arthur's case he also had a wizard. Harry, Gandalf, Roy Wood and the Ice King leave it all to the grand wizard of wizards.

Seven
Peter Pevensie

Once a King and Queen of Narnia, always a King and Queen of Narnia. As the eldest of the Pevensie's Peter lead the Narnians to overthrow the 100 year winter reign of Jadis. Add in helping Caspian and his very long reign as King.

Six
Buckaroo Banzai

Who? He's Einstein, James Bond and Batman all rolled into one! A physicist, neurosurgeon, test pilot, and rock musician, and saved the world by defeating a band of inter-dimensional aliens called Red Lectroids from Planet 10.

Five
Jekyll/Hyde

The original Hulk. The brains of Dr. Jekyll mixed with the brawn and power of Mr. Hyde. Beware!

Four
Agent K.

Here come the Men In Black. The wiser member of the famous duo has huge respect among his peers. Aliens are like bugs, he's kept them under control for years.

Three
Allan Quatermain

Adventurer, tradesmen, hunter, immortal. There's more to this man than what The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen shows with over 15 books documenting his life.

Two
Sir Percival Blakeney esq.

"The Scarlet Pimpernel, Mademoiselle," he said at last "is the name of a humble English wayside flower; but it is also the name chosen to hide the identity of the best and bravest man in all the world, so that he may better succeed in accomplishing the noble task he has set himself to do."

One
Popeye the Sailor Man

He's strong to the finish, because he eats his Spinach. You name them he's thought them. He has huge strength to boot and that's before he's opened the true can of whoopass. AgAgAgAg!

Teams as done by random:

  • Popeye the Sailor Man and Peter Pevenise
  • Allan Quatermain and Jekyll/Hyde (incidentally they teamed in the League...)
  • Merlin and MacGyver
  • The Scarlet Pimpernel and Zorro (Zorro was inspired by Blakeney just as Batman was by Zorro).
  • Agent K and Buckaroo Banzai (Both used to fighting Alien scum).

All very good names - Peter Pevensie, Popeye, Agent K, and Jekyll/Hyde are ones I'm kicking myself over. Zorro was in previous Battle Zone Tournaments and would definitely be fun to have back next year, and the others are solid as well.

Damn...how did I miss Popeye?

I'm surprised that neither Mewtwo nor Darkrai made it in. Hell, I would have settled for Pikachu. Imagine a Pikachu/Raiden team.
