Let's see the latest happenings in the NWA that I know of.
Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana defeated "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce on March 6th to become the new NWA World champion. Cabana is going to have big shoes to fill as Pearce was a very active champion, defending the championship over 50 times in the 3 times he held the championship. But Cabana is off to a good start with a successful titles defenses at NWA PSW where he defeated NWA PSW champion Brandon Collum and "Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore and had a draw against NWA RPW champion J-Rod after Hot for Lava interfered. Cabana's next known title defense will be against the NWA North American champion The Sheik in Jacksonville, FL on April 23rd.
Also a new NWA National champion was crowned on February 20th as Chance Prophet defeated "The Universal Soldier" Phil Shatter.
Also two new associates have joined the NWA. They are associates under Bill Behrens. The organizations are Rampage Pro Wrestling that runs out of Warner Robins, GA and Pro South Wrestling which runs out of Piedmont, AL.
