Well, 18 high school chearleader Montia Parker is, literally. The high school senior from Minnesota was arrested last month for pimping out a younger member of her squad, the first time police said they've seen one teenager pimp out another.

Making the story even worse, Parker used Backpage.com to prostitute said 16-year-old member of her squad, one with a developmental delay. After overhearing a conversation between the girl and her teammates about ways to make money, Parker used text messaging to ask the girl about having sex for money. The girl refused to have sex, but agreed to give oral sex in exchange for money. After coming to an agreement, the 18 year-old Parker advised the girl on how to dress and pose for her picture in the ad, and posed as her mother to get her out of school in order to perform said deed. On two occasions, Parker took the 16-year-old out of school.
On the first occasion, March 5th, Parker pulled her teammate out of school and drove her to local apartments, where she waited outside while the girl performed oral sex on a customer. Parker then pocketed $60 dollars the teenager received for "services rendered", with the younger girl allegedly receiving none. The next day, Parker again pulled the girl out of school, and brokered a deal with another customer, this time to have sex. When the girl refused, Parker insisted, and according to the complaint filed by police, told the girl the following:
Most children, especially 16 year old's, would have a problem with their mother going through their text messages, but this 16 year old is likely glad she did. Upon learning her daughter had received an unexcused absence and that she had allegedly pulled her daughter out of school, she went through her daughter's phone, and saw the messages between the two girls. She then called the police, and Parker was arrested shortly after. Said Minnesota Police Chief Mark Raquet:
Currently, her lawyers are attempting to broker a deal which will keep her from serving any time in prison. As for her schooling? After being charged officially on May 21st, just a week and a half before graduation, she was expelled. Said Hopkins High School(where Parker attended school) representative Jolene Goldade:
As I said earlier, this is the first documented case, according to Minnesota police, of one teenager "pimping out" another. I'm not naive enough to think that it's never happened before, quite the contrary. I'm sure that is has. But if this is the case that this is the first to be prosecuted, one would think a heckuva precedent needs to be said. Teenager or not, deals asked for or not, jail would seem a necessary part of the equation, would it not?
In past threads, we've almost unanimously agreed that prostitution should be legal. I'm not presuming all, because I'm sure there are those opposed to legalizing it. But, for those who are in favor, I offer the following question:
If prostitution were to be legalized, what about their 'handlers', like Montia Parker? Should that be legal as well?
Obviously, not the handling of underage teenager girls however, for those unclear. And for those against the legalization of prostitution altogether, there's still something here for you as well.
Should mandatory jail time be part of any 'deal' for Parker?
Any other thoughts on this are welcome.

So what's next for Montia Parker? Attempting to secure a deal, for one. At the current moment, she's out on bail, and has plead not guilty to charges of sex-trafficking and prostitution. If found guilty of sex trafficking, she risks the possibility of 15 years in prison or a $40,000 fine. If found guilty of prostitution, she faces up to 20 years in prison or a $50,000 fine."She really didn't deny any of the allegations. She told us she created the Backpage.com ad for her, drove her to perform sex acts on two separate occasions, for which she pocketed the payment. She informed us she had gotten a lot of calls from men who had seen the ad, and that she was still receiving phone calls from men requesting oral and vaginal sex without protection."

"Although the events did not occur on school grounds, the charges are very serious. Whether an incident occurs on our campus or not, student safety is always our top priority."
