So through the miracle of Teen Nick playing old 90s Nick shows in syndication again, I re-discovered my love for the cartoon Doug, and more importantly the best fake rock band ever, The Beets.


That is such an awesome song. Like not even in a kitschy way either, it's actually a really awesomely constructed little take on Merseybeat with some fun goofy lyrics and some killer vocal harmonies.

Seriously, that song is better than half the shit I hear on the radio today.
