Kharma and her role in WWE's Diva division

I'm putting this in the general WWE forum because I'm still a little fuzzy on what show and when she'll debut but my question is this:

Will she be booed because of the vignettes that show her plucking the heads off of dolls that resemble certain Divas?

When she does debut, is the Women' division so weak at the moment and in need of competitive talent that she'll be cheered when she destroys her first competitor?

Is this what WWE is actually hoping will happen, in a sense creating a sort of anti-Diva, rule-breaking quasi face?

Or will she become another Mark Henry, Beth Phoenix type superstar where she'll dominate for a few months then be forgotten about?

It's my first original thread, so be kind but I'm eager to see what others think will happen as I'm for some reason extremely stoked that she's (eventually) going to debut.

I think she will be coming into the WWE as a heel and will most likely compete against Beth Phoenix on RAW. I think she will finish with Beth and then go through the "Divas" (hate using the word) division, destroying every barbie look-a-like she finds!

Yeah, she's gotta be coming in as a monster heel. I wonder if they'll give her the belt right away, or if she's just going to destroy girls for months.

Personally, I don't think the diva division is THAT weak. I just don't think they are given enough time to develop anything that can be considered compelling, except for Laycool. You figure on Raw, Beth, Melina, Gail, Maryse and to lesser extent Kelly and Eve can all wrestle. On Smackdown, Nattie, McCool, Tamina, Layla can all go. Just give them time and a decent storyline, then the division might be more enjoyable to watch

Putting her against any other diva is ridiculous when you consider she weighs around 275 pounds and the other divas are as skilled in the ring as the Great Khali, kharma could very well injure the divas by accident. I hope they put her in a more of a female body guard type role who beats up on and occasionally wrestles male wrestlers.

She's going to be a heel, but the fan reactions gonna be Tweened.
All the brainwashed kiddies and women are gonna be booing, but a good chunk of viewers can't wait to see the life sized barbies get broken.

I see her coming in, and destroying a couple barbies, Kelly Kelly, Eve, then maybe the Bellas, then one of the real divas will step in (Built up real divas) Melina, Natty, or Beth Phoenix, and you'll see some real matches rather than squash (the closest squash match since Yokuzuna).
I'm going to be really disappointed when we don't see a Kharma Gail Kim rematch, or actually I might be more disappointed if they have one with WWE divas style.

I hope she has a tweener role, where she just destroys everybody. I'd like to see here make her debut while Cole is doing his "this divas match sucks/waste of time" interruptions, then she beats the living crap outta him. Since that would get her cheers I doubt it will happen since I don't think that is where the E is trying to go with her.

I want her cheered, but she will probably get booed. I hope they do with what TNA did and that was make her a huge monster destroying everyone in her path. The only diva that took her to the limit was Gail and I would love to see that renewed, and if Michelle is truly leaving for a while, I hope Gail gets a good push in her absence.

I would like for her to start laying out the women that can't wrestle (the bellas, Kelly, Layla, Eve, Alicia Fox) which is almost all of them and continue that until Beth says no more and puts the Glamazon foot down which causes a war but ultimately she loses, Kong, i mean Kharma then opens to challengers as all sorts of women show up even Mae Young, then finally Gail says hey we have unfinished business and they go at it. Thus pushing Kharma to a huge role and finally allowing Gail to have a real feud and spotlight other than DBD love interest.

It's hard to say right now. It looks like she may be a tweener, but it depends on how the WWE wants to play their hand. It's gonna be hard to get people to boo her cause the fans are tired of these divas putting on lackluster matches. To get her to be a heel she gonna have to squash a diva that fans really like (none comes to mind maybe kelly kelly). After she squash a few divas I would like for her to get into a program with Gail Kim; I think the "E" needs to save a Kharma-Phoenix match for the far future cause that's the money match whereas the divas division is concerned.

clearly you have never seen old matches of gail kim and awesome kong/kharma... go watch them, then come back and apologize for calling all of the diva's bad wrestlers... Yes there are some that have been elevated just due to looks but natty neidhart beth phoenix and gail kim (amongst some others) can all wrestle and wrestle well... They'll do well having someone else as an "unstoppable" woman on the loose and may cause the viewing audience to not take a concession stand break during the diva's matches anymore

After beth phoenix, maybe she moves on to tamina, hell, maybe this will convince wwe to take a more active role in the development of their women's division. Shimmer is proof that women's wrestling sells when it's done right. Kong could be the start of a new era, or just another released wrestler...hopefully the former.

Kharma should come out when Cole is making fun of the Divas and have him introduce Kharma to the audience saying this is what a real womens wrestler looks like and have him be her mouthpiece, have her wreck shop on all the Divas and let the real women who CAN wrestle come afterwards where we actually get real matches.
She should have the Goldberg role minus calling it a streak just have squash matches for awhile. and the whole time while she is squashing the divas have Cole be just the hype man for instant heat then when Beth,Gail or Natalya ( The most realistic and best choice would be Beth ) finally gets the win over her they will be the John Cena of Divas for slaying the unslayable.

I do agree with the other poster. Michael Cole could definitely up her already high stock by having her show the other divas what a real Diva looks like and also have her destroy the other girls. But in that role, it may get Cole some cheers.

People forget Tamina can wrestle and is one of the strongest womeen on the roster. She and Kharma could give one hell of a match. To be honest. Kharma can sell anyone. You only have to look at her Shimmer Matches and work in Japan to see that she can make a very weak wrestler look very good.

But she should start with the pretty girls before fueding with Gail, Tamina . Then the Match with Natty [ A Rematch from Japan ] should be on a PPV. With the Beth Phoenix match at Wrestlemania. That is the real money match for now so WWE should save it until Miami. There is no need to rush that. Have her do a three month fued with Kim to give her the rub and demonstrate some good wrestling. You can always have her in tag matches.

Another money match would be Trish Stratus vs Kharma at Mania. Either way. let her work up to the better girls.

Lets face it, with the exception of a few, there is a lot of dead weight in the Diva division. I see her steamrolling over a few barbie esque Divas, leading to kayfabe injuries and a few 'future endeavours'.

I think putting her against Beth straight away is blowing her ultimate pay off.

They're showing VTs of her destroying Dolls so why not have her come in and destroy the dolls first?

Beth is the closest thing Kong has to legitimate competition and WWE is going to blow it by having them square off straight away.
And then what?

If they put her against Beth they can't exactly down grade her after that to destorying the doll divas.

I think the best way for Kong to be used in the long term would be...
... To keep Beth Phoenix out of her radar until Kong has bulldozed her way through 2 or 3 mini feuds as a Heel, eventually demanding an 'earned' title shot. She would of course destroy the Bellas and then Beth; playing the face, could step up to face her in an against all the odds situation.

Doing things this way would set Kong up with a self telling story right up through the year. WWE will of course not do things the way it should though because, well, probably just because the IWC has called it.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if her debut is used to destroy McCool, writing her out until she's ready to return as a face for the Wrestlemania match I think they might actually be building for, instead of Beth. It's fine having her debut and destroy one of the barbies but if you really want credibility, having her injure McCool is the way to go.

who ever wrote in this post about her having a bodyguard role, thats a really good idea. In order to do that Vince should have her be Vickie's Bodyguard , that why she can destroy any one who disses Vickie and makes fun of Vickie to . That includes some of the guys who do those things to Vickie to .

I can see her coming in heel but turning face by destroying Cole in some way. He's been doing his disrespecting the Diva matches for weeks now and I can see him trying to do it during a Kong match which will of course end with him being destroyed. It would throw some light on why the WWE is having him do that anyway. I hope it is anyway or maybe they just literally have no respect for their own divas,

Finally some life in the boring WWE for we're all waiting to see Kharma
destroy the Bella twins and the rest of the Barbie's. I really like the idea
of her debuting as Vicki's bodyguard.

It's be like when Umaga came in and steamroled over everybody, I think they may even be able to put her in matches with men if their willing to go that far.

All in all, she will be a great addition to the women's divison and will make it interesting again. Judging by the vignette's, she's debuting a monster.

I see Kharma destroying the Barbie look alikes and who else to start with then Barbie Blank aka Kelly Kelly. She will take out Kelly Kelly and move on to Beth and Natalya and all the other diva's for a good 6 months or longer. Then I see Michele McCool aka Mrs Taker coming back as a face to knock of Kharma.

I see her getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. There will be fans that boo her and ones that will cheer her. Naturally she's a perfect fit for monster heel so she will get heat especially if she works with a program with the more popular divas like Eve or Kelly Kelly. On the other hand she's going to be an impressive presence in the public eyes, if I can recall in TNA Kong got a lot of "lets go Kong" chants, I can see this replicating in the WWE.
