I loved it too. I watched with a non wrestling fan friend, and he thought it was an amzing show. He was familiar with HHH, Undertaker, HBK, and that's about it. He loved every second, minus Kid Rock. That guy was singing songs that sucked ten year's ago. Someone needs to tell him that ten year's doesn't make a shitty song classic. Classics were loved when they were current, and then the years endeared more people to it.

No, it wasn't. It's another case of whiny smarky types bitching because they didn't get the winners they wanted. I didn't care who won a single match. I just liked what I saw.

I also just finished watching it with a non wrestling fan friend of mine. The result, a resounding "pretty good I guess" from both parties.

No call to be deceptive; had HBK and Taker not been on the card, I'd likely have been renouncing it as the worst PPV since Destination X, and one of the worst Manias of al time... but that one, coupled with the impressive spots pulled off by Jeff Hardy and the MitB crew were enough to carry me through the show.

The only part of the card that I really felt let down by was the main event. There was absolutely nothing there to distinguish it as a Wrestlemania match. No big spots, no impressive story... ever the wrestling was sub par. Add that to the fact that it was a match I'd seen before on multiple occasions, and the abrupt ending, and the result was me leaving Mania feeling worse about the show than I had at any point previously (we discovered that we could make Kid Rock entertaining by speeding him up to four times his natural speed).

So year... I suppose you could argue this PPV as being the best example of Wrestlmania at both its best, and worst.

The problem with the main event, is that the HHH punt looked so bad. If the camera work and HHH's coordination had been up to par, it would have been a good finish. But HHH is unable to make even the simplest move llok real, and the camera man missing it anyway is what hurt the ME.

1) Santino won the Divas battle royal
2)The IC title match was way to short.
