Just Got Back From Seeing "Wrath Of The Titans"

The Cerebral Assassin
Pretty good movie, actually, when you take into consideration it's a sequel. Lots of deaths and turns by the main characters. Sure, the first one was better, but this one was pretty good with solid action. The ending was a bit rushed, but the characters were intriguing enough. In the end, solid sequel that gets us to the last film (the third film's already been greenlit) which will hopefully be at least a little bit better than this one.

Anyone else see it/planning on seeing it?

Given how terrible the first was, the fact that is was better than this does nothing but reaffirm my belief that this movie is shit & not worth my money.

I actually liked the first one a lot. But if you didn't like the first one, then you probably won't like this one that much. There's less action and the story doesn't seem to be as long, but there's more focus on the characters and their relationships. However, there's still an epic feel to it.

I'll probably see this one. I liked the 1st one, not as much as the original but thought it was good in its own way if you take it for what it is. Sure its no masterpiece but it was still good.

Yeah. I think Greek mythology is fairly interesting. Although they deviate away from the true telling(s) of the figures in these movies, they at least keep their general stories/characeristics intact for the most part.

(Without giving too much away) It's quite funny in this movie though, because they directly address Zeus' betrayal/trickery of Hades and pretty much handle it by a big "I'm sorry about that bro, my bad". It's not meant to be funny, it's actually a fairly big part of the movie. But it's still kinda funny.

I'll probably watch it at some point and scoff at how they deviated from the source material.

I stil preferred the original Clash Of The Titans to the remake. The remake had an epic feel but ended up being meh, not bad but not great.

Also what happened to Gemma Arterton??
