I've been in WZCW since April now, and I've really had a great time doing this and interacting with all of you guys. I joined at the absolute best time, and I believe that WZCW is only going to grow from here.

The reason why I am posting up this thread is simple. I just want some feedback on what I can do to make Derek Jacobs a more relevant character here in WZCW. Whether it's how I roleplay or what my RP's say, if there's any kind of feedback, negative or positive I want to hear it. I promise I have thick skin and I won't get offended. If you think that I suck, tell me I suck. If you think I'm doing good but there's things I can improve on, let me know.

I honestly value every opinion you guys have, so just let me know what I can do. Thanks

Right now you are in the supporting role of a semi-hot stable. I would say that you are more relevant than most. Don't abandon ship from the the New Church gig quite yet, because I think there is still a lot that can be done with it. Continuing to read some of the best RPers every round and perfecting your format is the only true way to go in making your self one of the best, or at least a respected upper-card.

I remember following a set of guidelines that I established from reading other members.

1. Always dive into your past a little bit. (Character development)
2. Always state what you are trying to accomplish (Opponent acknowledgement)
3. Make it interesting

If you can combine those three things into a RP with ease and make it as smooth as butter, you will be set.

I am not saying that it is a set guideline that everyone has to follow in order to win, because even I stray away from it from time to time. However, I will say that I lose far more often when I don't use those three ingredients efficiently.

I know I don't have the best win/loss record - especially against Saxton and Saboteur but I am inclined to agree with Kermit.

Firstly pick a style, though don't be afraid to experiment.

Also, focus on grammar and punctuation, one or two errors can be forgiven but too many and it begins to look untidy and compromises the ability to suspend disbelief.

Talk about what is relevant - not just wrestling. Since I started writing for Howard I have had a long-term story in mind. It never stays that way and it always being tweaked (for instance I never expected to either get into the tag scene so quickly, nor become a staple of the division) but generally Howard has a past, present and future and I make use of all three in telling the story I want to tell.

Also The New Church is becoming a major heel stable by the looks of things (and I doubt your being left off the Unscripted Card is accidental by any means) so don't give up on it yet. I can see you and Thriller being Tag Champs in the future.

Keep RPing and keep improving, you've come on in leaps and bounds since you joined and it's clear that you are not even close to being done yet.

Don't be afraid to make your character or your style stand out. It's a great way to garner attention.

You're doing fine, TNC is currently the only heel team in Fed and with the way things are going now I don't see anymore appearing anytime soon. You'll most likely get involved in the tag match at Unscripted and more likely than not get a title shot (with Gentlemen and Beard lingering I can't say it will be two on two though) at AON. Derek Jacobs alone? Well that's probably a bit more difficult to answer, before the whole religious gimmick there was only so much you could do with a bodyguard paid for hire. I'm sure you'll find something to do with him after TNC has ended.
