Joe Hennig what will he become?

Dark Match Winner
So I watched Joe Hennig on you tube the other day nd i must say everything about him is PERFECT, he is very simalar to his father pretty damn good on the mic i think he might be in for a good run in the WWE my question for you is will he surpass his father and how will the WWE use Mr perfect Jr. (who is 28 years old nd been in FCW for about 5months now)??

I live in Tampa and go to the FCW shows at least once a month. Joe Hennig is easily my favorite guy there and, besides Eric Escobar, seems to draw the best crowd reaction. I predict he'll be called up before the years end, maybe to get involved with the priceless angle.

Unfortunately, I get a feeling that the roster's a touch too glutted right now with 2nd and 3rd gen superstars (obviously, Joe would be 3rd) and I'm not sure how well he'd fit in; especially after watching Sim Snuka, Manu, and Jessie all floundering at the moment. But, as far as technical expertise, I can say at the very least Joe's got TD, Jr beat, as I got to watch both Main Event at FCW, and Joe is far superior in terms of carrying a match and mic skills.

As far as surpassing Curt, that's a hell of a long shot, but anything is possible, I suppose. Then again, you don't necessarily have to surpass Curt Hennig to become one of the greatest of all time considering how high Curt is on that list (imo, at any rate).

I hope, if they bring him in, they'll keep him face at least for a while, because his high energy, charisma and overall likeability I think would be better suited to winning fans over as opposed to turning them against him.

Thanks Swolf for posting this, and I hope it gets more responses than just this one from me. Joe Hennig is a great talent, one everybody who follows FCDub should be keeping their eye on (and even those who don't). He uses the Perfectplex now, but I do think he needs to do somethink like Dibiase, Jr. as far as his finisher goes as being a variation of dad's (Ted does the Million Dollar Dream into a Russian leg sweep): Maybe a fisherman brainbuster like Shane Douglas used to do, or maybe either flip it into a powerbomb or swing it into a Michinoku Driver.

I like Mr. Perfect and I hope his son can follow in his footsteps. He will certainly be an excellent addition to Priceless, and if that angle goes for a while I can see Hennig joining up. If he has a gimmick like his fathers he would fit in well. If he is successful I can see him becoming a main-eventer just because of who he is, just like the way DiBiase and Rhodes will someday. But Mr. Perfect was even bigger, and I think that Hennig will make it in the WWE and become a future world champion.

He helps Randy Orton beat Trips at Mania 25. After Cody and Ted Jr fail to do so.

Enter- the 4th member of Legacy! "The Muscle" of Legacy

I think they will bring him up to the main roster sooner rather than later. If they give him a gimmick similar to his father's, I can see him being rather successful if he can pull it off correctly. Maybe call him "Flawless" instead of "Perfect". I'm just saying.

Ive never heard of Joe Hennig until now. It really does seem Vince is on a hire everyone's son streak as of late... I think that he might get to the IC belt but I doubt he will touch the Heavyweight belt. He might talk about that "Mr. Perfect" gimmick but I dont think he will adopt it, maybe get something similar to it.

You just heard of the guy and you are already placing him under a glass ceiling?

I would assume that at 28 years old and not at the "big time" yet his ceiling could be limited. But DDP is proof that it isn't how old you are when you get there, but its about getting over and staying fresh regardless of age.

I don't think he looks like his father. He looks more like his grandfather. Joe doesn't have that chisled from stone look which is fine with me. Hennig is a great wrestler, and comes from a strong wrestling background. Maybe something like "The Perfect Son" Joe Hennig. I guess joining legacy would be cool. I'm not a big fan of Legacy, but I do feel that he should debut with Brett Dibiase on SD as debut as heels.

You say Joe Hennig has been in FCW for 5 months? I would give it a little more time than that if they don't want to jump the gun too early and completely screw up his whole career. I have not seen any Joe Hennig matches, but I have seen some Mr. Perfect matches and I hope that he is up to par with and is able to compete just as good as or close to as good as his father. If you look at any Mr. Perfect matches, you'll see that he is most mat-based and he does not need to leave the mat because he was just that... what's the word I'm looking for? ''Perfect''! Just because he is the son of Mr. Perfect doesn't mean that he will automatically be successful in the WWE, he has to convince the company that he has the talent and skills to go far in WWE and do what his father died trying to do... win the World Championship. I hope that Joe Hennig does get moved up to the main roster soon and see what he brings to the table. As for the idea of him being in ''Legacy'', I'm not against it, but I would really like to see what he could do on his own.

I think he can have a bright furture in the WWE. He has the look, the technical skill, and the mic skills to succeed in the WWE. I dont think the WWE will put him in Legacy though. I think they'll put him on Smackdown or ECW with the perfect gimmick like his father had. Joe could have a lot of good feuds on ECW, and bring some hype to the show if he used the perfect gimmick. So hopefully he debuts soon and makes a big impact in the midcard.
