2nd and 3rd Generation superstars!

So thier alot of wrestlers whose sons and/or daughters have became wrestlers:
ted Dibiase jr
Mike dibiase
Ried Flair
Ricky Steamboat jr.
Cody rhodes
Joe Hennig
DH Smith
*etc

So question is who do you think is going to be the most successful 2nd or 3rd generation superstar and no im not including randy orton keep him out of this lol, you can say others if their not on the list..

For me its gotta be Joe hennig, iwatch him in fcw matches hesgot great talent and is realy good on the mic its only a matter of time until he is pulled to the main roster, his father was "perfect" lol, i think Joe will be pretty damn good as well, he is very technically ound and has "the look" to him, this just my opinion.

It's funny how there are so many of their kids in one era or wrestling. Look for Joe Hennig or Ted Dibiase, Jr to make their marks.

You also forget about Nattie Neidhart and Lacey Von Erich, who by the way, would be the single hottest, most athletic Diva if she was on a WWE roster.

Terry Gordy also has a son working in the WWE, Jesse. There's also Mike Rotunda's kid, Teddy Hart...LOL. No really, but there are many out there. But look for Joe Hennig or Ted Dibiase, Jr to break through. They have the look, charisma, and not to mention they're both 3rd Generation stars. Some others include Orton and The Rock. It's destiny.

Depends which ones can get out of the shadow of their father. Ted Dibiase & Mike Dibiase will never be looked at the same their dad, but they'll probably get world titles. Cody Rhodes will become a bigger WWE star than his father. So most of them really. Reid Flair will never been looked at the same as his father.

this is a tuff one to call. reid nd ricky steamboat jr are prob the youngest with most potential but fans will probly not respect them as much as their fathers. they will live in the fathers shadow for their whole career.
my guess will probly be joe henning. i havent seen his work but from what i hear he is just like his dad in the ring. if he has his father's skill both on the mic nd in the ring he is gonna be the next big thing

I dissagree that Joe hennig will be the most succsessful as from whatt ive saw of him he does not possess the 'look' (sorry to say that i believe he has a pot belly & has a similar hairstyle to the Legend that is Alan Shearer ala balding).

I rekon Ted Dibiase will go far because he has the 'look' that WWE likes to push nowadays e.g. muscular & lean, furthermore he has a movie coming out with WWE Films & WWE dont invest movies in people that they dont have plans for. He is a decent wrestler also, who will only improve once he gets more experience.

Cody Rhodes will also go far.

Rhodes & Dibisae are not associated with Randy Orton for nothing. WWE has big plans for these two in future.

DH Smith will go far, he is very young yet he is an amazing wrestler having started traing at aprox age 14. He has the Size that McMahons like & the heritige.

my pick would be none other than Ted Dibiase Jr. I would love to see him adapt to a gimmick similar to his fathers and bring back the Million Dollar Belt....great heel...and when he gets some years under his belt and builds the momentum he will be a WWE great. I agree he has the look, the tools, and WWE has invested a lot into this young kid.

Cody with surely surpass Dusty even Goldust. He is young, and has all the potential in the world....once legacy breaks up which shouldnt happen anytime soon and these 2 develop i see big things in both of their future...

As per Ricky Steamboats son....my prediction is this angle with Jericho is what will bring Ricky's son hopefully into WWE with his son standing up for his fathers legacy....have Ricky manage him for a while....

ps i dont know if they have signed him but they should and this is a great way to bring him in

Cody Rhodes. I've said countless times now but I see his future as really bright. I think he's great in the ring, really gifted imo and his match with McMahon on Superstars is a recent example of that. I think he makes a good heel and a good face which is something some people struggle with, he will be an asset either way...Some say that his size will hold him back but I don't think so, no particular reason 'cos I think he's good enough regardless of size...his size is actually something I like as it's refreshing to see someone normal looking rather than another muscular giant. As for his mic work, I think it's overlooked by some (granted he hasn't been given much opportunity to work the mic as yet) but I always remember a promo he cut on Santino when he teamed with Holly and it had personality and demonstrated charisma....so yeh, he's a diamond in the ruff. Will go far, no doubt about that imo....

ted dibiase and cody rhodes. and that is based on everything i've actually seen, not heard. i've seen joe hennig on the fcw site, not impressed so far...good god. seeing as how they're both young, associated with orton, working angles with the mcmahons, i think these guys are going to be huge.

The Rock...oh wait he already is.

In seriousness id have to say either cody or DH smith, cody has the skill, and Smith just looks the part, a good future for these two I hope.

I don't understand why everyone sees "greatness" on the horizon for Cody Rhodes. I'm sorry, but his size will hold him back unless he gets something else going for him to be perceived as a World title candidate. Look at the following small guys
HBK -, he got over for his unbelievable in-ring ability and skill on the mic.

Bret Hart - considered (by some) as the greatest technician/story-teller in WWE History

Chris Benoit - also considered the greatest technical wrestler in WWE

Kurt Angle - Olympic Gold Medalist. Enough said

Ken Kennedy - I KNOW HE ISN"T A FORMER WORLD CHAMP. But he will be. He is over with fans for his skill on the mic

Here's my point. In the wrestling business, if you aren't a certain height/size, winning the world title requires a little something extra. IMO, Cody being a 2nd generation star isn't good enough for me. If he wants to be World Champ, he needs to develop his character.

Ted Dibiase Jr. No question. He has all the tools needed. Look, talent, backstage connections, everything. And the WWE knows this becase he is staring in the Marine 2 and he hasnt even been on the main roster for a year yet. He is right where he needs to be with Legacy. And aside from Orton, Ted is the one who carries most of the weight in legacy. Im sorry, but honestly i see absolutly nothing special about Cody Rhodes. He has Zero carisma and is almost annoying to watch in action. Idk theres just nothing about Cody that makes me say "wow, now he's gonna be somebody". Ted on the other hand, will be a big tim player in the coming years. I can easily see him being a great heel, with a spin-off gimmik of his father, with his father as his manager. that woudl be great to see.

I really cant speak too much on the other talents cuz ive never really seen too much from them. But i would hope that Ricky Steamboats, Mr. Perfect and Ric Flairs son's get brought up soon too. I would be great to see the next generation continuing rivalries from back in the old days.

I am going with either Cody Rhodes or Ted Jr. They have been with the best heel in the business and have improved a lot. They have big and major futures, and have already won belts. I don't think Ted Jr. would do well as a face, but he might prove me wrong and Cody I think can play either face or heel. They both have big futures. I like D.H. Smith as a wildcard, I hope they call him up and put him in Legacy.

Also, Carlito and Primo have big future too. They unified the belts and they are sons of a legend in Puerto Rico and both are former World Champs there to.

I'm going waaaay out on a limb but...James Laurinaitis

A few reasons:

While he will be a 1st Round NFL Draft Pick, there is no garauntee that he'll be the dominant LB he was once predicted to be.

Even with a productive career, he could be done by age 30 and still have time to make an impact in the industry.

Pedigree being "Baby Animal"

National media exposure if his NFL career is somewhat successful.

I honestlt think Vince will pull out the stops to make him something special even if he debuts at an older age.

Of course non of this could happen and he'll have a long ass football career. But I wanted to throw a different name in the conversation.

i'm predicting that dh smith and ted dibiase jr. will do big things in the near future. wwe shoulda brought smith over to raw so he could join legacy. he would be a perfect fit for the group.

the angle with jericho & steamboat will not bring steamboat JR into WWE because he is not ready yet . jr has only bean training for yyear & half & i should now i have met & watched ricky steamboat jr wrestle. . steamboat jr was trained in WLW by harley race just like ted dibiase jr ,joe hennig ,& amy hennig. steamboat jr is right know wrestling for noah in japan to get better. then he is going to wrestle in U.K before coming back to america . steamboat jr is not sign to WWE because he is not ready yet.
so anybody hopping to see steamboat jr ,reid flair ,& amy henning soon will have to wait another year because they are not ready or go to WLW in eldon missouri.

DH Smith. He has everything he need's to be a world champion. The look, The power, The technique. He also oozes charisma, I get goosebump's everytime i see the guy, just because I know he is on a verge of greatness.
