Jerry Nelson passed away

[Poop Master Flex]

at the age of 78 following a long battle of cancer.

For those who don't know Jerry Nelson he was one of the puppeteers who worked on various projects such as Sesame Street, The Muppets and Fraggle Rock. As a fan of all 3 shows I was very saddened to hear about this news.

His puppeteer work included Camilla the Chicken, Statler, and Snuffleupagus. On top of that he did the voice work and singing for many of the characters on the show as well one of my personal favorite Sesame Street Characters The Count.

He was definitely a key player along with Jim Henson and Frank Oz and his work will be missed.

RIP Jerry Nelson.

He did Gobo on Fraggle Rock, he was my favorite as a child.

Always tough to lose a big part of your childhood like that.
