J-Dogg's [Official]: "What are your favourite variations".

J-Dogg

The Backbreaker Machine
I've decided to start a series of threads based on asking you WrestleZone what your favourite variations of particular moves in professional wrestling are, everything from the suplex to the top rope moves will be covered.

When you list the variations, you can state why you like them, whose your favourite user of the variation and so on.

First move is the DDT.

I like Sting's reverse DDT. It just looks great when Sting sneaks up on the guy. Its a sudden impact move and the reciever gets little time to counter the move so it looks quite devastating.

If the reverse DDT is not up for discussion then I'd go with the Evenflow DDT that Raven uses.

I'd personally go for a cross armed DDT, when its executed it kind of looks like a brainbuster, but it still delivers the intended impact...and it also looks very good if done correctly.

Always been a fan of the Tornado and Spike DDTs, both of them usually look pure nasty. I'd say Edge's DDT but everyone's going to fucking say that

Gangrel's was pretty boss

A Spike DDT is a badass move, I love it, it really suits people like Randy, the dcevious ones who could strike at any time, which is a Spike DDT, you are there hanging, and you don't know when your opponent will drop you.

Double Arm DDT is pretty good aswell, when executed perfectly, it looks like it would hurt like shit.

I like the double arm DDT very much, just the way its executed and how its made to looks is just brutal when the head bounces off the canvas.

Haha, people just really refer to a Spike DDT as a normal DDT nowadays as far as my knowledge goes, but I have been wrong, (as shown in previous posts.)

I've got two. McIntyre's Future Shock DDT looks amazing whenever he does it. My personal favorite would be the Tornado DDT. I just love that move.

I really like the one Trent uses. Usually the more acrobatic variations appeal to me,but you can't go wrong with a DDT in any situation.

I have two, the tornado DDT and Derek Bateman's "Mantastic DDT" (esentially he puts his opponent in a headlock and then falls on his frontdriving the opponent's head into the mat)

Well it is a surprise, and there will be a new thread up in the series soon...im quite busy this week with my birthday celebrations as im 21 on Saturday and im also working so when i put up the next thread people can post away.

I'd say my faves in the DDT selection is when Vance Archer did his finishing DDT manuever...whatever it was called, I called it the Scorpion Death drop since it looked JUST like stings..lol. Then there was the one Mickie DDT where she jumps and kinda spins herself around, another is Randy's Rope hung DDT and when he gets 2 peeps in the rope, its even SICKER. Then Drew's Future shock DDT is great too.

Well it looks like i got a fair amount of good replies and discussion in this thread, next one will be up in a couple of days.

Any variation of the spring board DDT.
