.... and I don't mean that in an insulting or sarcastic way, either. In a weird way, it's kind of endearing.
Wrestlezone (you've heard of them, right?) recently posted a news story on how the WWE was supposedly going to try and please Internet wrestling fans (you know, the IWC) and address their concerns. Well, first off... no, they're not. Maybe they'll throw us a bone here and there, but they're also trying to maintain the illusion that they're a "legitimate" sport (obviously, they know that everyone knows that it's not really, but maintaining the illusion adds to the entertainment of it). But that's a different post, I'm getting off my original spammy topic...
Anyway, in that same article, for once I can say I read the comments and laughed out loud. It was full of "Oh, geez, they're going to listen to the IWC? This can't end well" and arguing that the IWC can't agree on anything.
It's like if, during a family reunion, one of the cousins asks the rest of the family if he should stay in college or if he should go ahead and follow his dream of starting his own business why the economic conditions are right. Half of the family will go one way (passionately) and the other half goes the other... but there's always that voice of reason that goes "Are you listening to this? We can't even agree on what to have for dinner... just go your own way."
