Is WWE going to buy TNA in the end?

Ok now before you cut me off. Think about this now, Hulk Hogan, a man who has made a carved legacy in the wwe. Randomly going out and partnering with TNA? Hmm.. What if he gets TNA big but he does it so in the end he can sell it to Vince mcmahon? Is this a possibility or am i just crazy?

That would be the ultimate stab in the back. But we know that Hogan is most likely going to take over the show later running it. (just giving thoughts to put in your mind.)

Please give me your opinions on this.. Bash away..

Though it is a possibility, I just couldn't see any man doing something that backstabbing for no reason. I think you may have been watching two much wrestling, thinking of storylines like this!

its a possibility. Anything is possible. i just hope wwe will get better because im sick of the pg b.s. Im not a violent wrestling fan im just sick of the wwe being a 3 ring circus. tna is becoming a 3 ring circus as well in my opinion with all the hogan, carter, sting and foley and nash drama. who decided to sign hogan? dixie or jarrett?

I would surely hope not. While guys like A.J. could potentially blow up as major global superstars (moreso than they already are), I'm afraid it would again level the playing field so much so to the point that no matter how lazy the booking got, there would again be no alternative.

While it's plausible, I don't think it'll happen personally – at least not via Hogan selling to McMahon the way you laid it out.

It wouldn't be logical to buy TNA. At this point, Vince could use a little competition. TNA isn't at a point where they could really steal the ratings, but they have tons of potnetial. It would be refreshing to see 2 promotions on tv for an extended period of time.

I'm not sure about the Hogan, Vince conspiracy theory. Hogan has more to gain if TNA is a success. On the other hand, if TNA were to fail it would make sense for them to sell their assests(Tape library) to the WWE. The TNA tape library could have some value down the road for both the buyer and the seller. I could see the WWE putting out a best of TNA DVD.

I don't see this as being feasible in ANY form, for the simple fact that TNA envisions itself as an up and coming OPPOSITION to vince's wwe. First off, Hogan doesnt have THAT MUCH PULL in TNA where he can sell the company to vince.. thats ludicrous and an idiotic thought to begin with.

Dixie has put too much work and money into TNA to do something stupid like sign over the rights to the federation to hogan.. and say what you like about Dixie.. she is NOT a stupid woman.

Hogan will use the federation to push his book or movie or whatever it is that he's got coming out, and after a few months, he will ride off into the sunset again... tho I am laying odds with a reign as TNA World Champion on his resume.

If the day comes where TNA closes its doors and ceases production, I dont think there will be ANY amount of time afterwards where they will sell their video library or whatnot to vince.

TNA was created as an ALTERNATIVE to vinces product, so why would you even consider selling the rights to your video library to the man? And before you all jump on me saying that "I bet WCW thought the same thing and look what happened to them." let me point out that WCW was a sinking ship that was looking to patch holes at the time that the NWO showed up.

If it werent for the 'shot in the arm' that the promotion got from that angle, then Vince would have owned them a LOT sooner... that, and the fact that "Billionaire Ted" pretty much 'screwed the pooch' when he pulled out of the company. With Ted's money behind them, WCW had a chance.. a VERY GOOD CHANCE... of burying Vince McMahon, but like the true predator that he is, Vince bided his time until even AOL etc pulled out from WCW and left it in a death spiral. Vince swooped in and bought the ENTIRE franchise.. titles, wrestlers, name, copyrights, images, video library etc for a mere 2 million dollars.

Since then, there hasnt been an alternative to vince's wrestling machine, but Dixie and TNA are giving it their best shot.. and since they are what.. 7 or 8 years into thier own fed now.. selling everything to Vince would be a stupid business decision.

I could see Dixie holding onto the rights to all tna's properties.. images, wrestler names, videos, etc.. either that or selling them to IWGP or some other american fed, like maybe NWA or something.. but NEVER to vince

That scenario has crossed my mind on more than one occasion. Hogan & Bischoff have done nothing but run TNA down for how many years now? My gut feeling just won't let me buy into Hogan & Bischoff coming into TNA for the sole purpose of making them competitive with McMahon & the WWE. What exactly do they both stand to gain besides padding their bank accounts? Worst case scenario....it gets run up, then into the ground and sold off to Vince at a bargain price...competition is healthy but Vince really doesn't need it.....

well first off if the ship sinks it's not going to be because Hulk sold it. it will be because they shut the doors then sell the company to Vince. It's not Hulks company it's Dixie's. But for those saying she would never sell. Bet me, Bet me and one day you'll owe me alot of money. Ted Turner tried his best to bury Vince, he hated Vince and everything Vince stood for. And sold. ECW hated WWE, hated everything they stood for. And sold. TNA if they don't turn things around will eventually sell.

I would be more worried that eric b would buy TNA and hogan and him run it. WWE has been around longer then tna. Would vince even be interested in tna since the rules and policies are different or will Hogan and Vince creat WWE VS TNA like they did years ago with wcw. Perhaps it is a plan to get TNA big but with all the main stream old legends that will not happen unless Aj Samoa Joe Daniles and the rest push it
