Is Vince's Pettiness Costing The WWE in the Public Eye?

I agree with everyone on here that backs Vince. He has every right to be pissed, and I would ride this publicity to the very end. As long as the publicity shines a positive light on WWE, and truly shows how they got screwed, I totally agree.

The only thing I am worried about from a fan's standpoint, is how they write it in to Monday's show. I hope we are not in for another Rosie/Donald Trump fiasco. If this controversy causes non-WWE fans to tune into Raw, and see what Vince will do next, then they see something like the Rosie/Donald segment, I think people will just roll their eyes and start sympathizing with Kroenke and the Pepsi Center. Vince has a great opportunity here, he needs to take advantage of it. A nice suprise like a returning superstar or an exciting title change would be great!!!

The problem is this, the publicity doesn't shine a positive light on the WWE at all. All he was able to do is show that he doesn'T take this situation seriously and the more vince talk, the more he look like a crybaby and Kroenke look like a guy that try to make peace and got turn down. So the more Vince talk or do anything like what he got plan for monday, the more negative light is reflected on the WWE fans.

Also let's face it, monday night will be all about making fun of Kroenke and the Denver Nuggets and they've been flashing this all week so don'T expect anything big out of Raw this week because all it'S going to be is the same boring stuff that happens every week plus vince making fun of Kroenke and has for the 10 man match, don'T be surprise to see HHH or a member of the Mcmahon family be the fifth guy. Unless the convince HBK to come back for this. Vince will screw up this opportunity because his ego can't take it, he has to be the center of attention and that's to bad because if there ever was i time to look like a serious buisnessman and do what right for The WWE and The WWE fans, this was it and having a parody of this situation on cable t.v isn't what's right for buisness.

hell, if I spent $80 on a ringside ticket for Raw, only to find out it's been moved 2 states over cuz of an NBA game, I'd be pissed too. And I would not want to waste my $80 WWE ticket on a TNA show unless they were offering me at least a $75 refund

The fact is Vince doesnt know how to pick the battles he can win, he is off the school of you either fight em all or you fight none of em! and he fights em all. WCW and the American Government, this kroneke bloke, sometimes i think of Vince Mchmahon as a super villian he has somewhat lex luthor qualities. Admittedly i do admire Vince he doesnt take s**t from no one! but he doesnt know where to stop yeah i would have a go to the media this guy has broken contract because the WWE book the arena and they need it for something else but you just refund the money and move on! I was watching the Mcmahon DVD the other day and commenting on Vince's in ring abitlity sums the whole man up perfectly "If your going up against Vince prepared to get potatoed!" Kurt Angle! (before TNA obviously)

Vince doesn't like to be pushed around. Sometimes he doesn't know when to walk away and that obviously can create a negative image. But in this situation hey why not use it to an advantage. If it can help bring in ratings or simply just get more exposure mainstream it's good business.

It's more of a mixed reaction in the media. Many agree and some think it was silly. Fans more then anything are behind Vince. Even people who don't watch wrestling were behind Vince. He did the right thing. He stood up for himself and with any luck because of all the publicity, the ratings will go up this week. I'm sure Vince would be the first to say that any publicity is good publicity. Speaking within reasoning of course.

just read up a bit on Stan Kroenke vince's rip on him became sweeter when i saw Kroenke's wife is heir to wal-mart wal-mart own a company here in the uk called asda who i work for but i hate it the big bosses dont know how to run a company they dont know how to look after the customers imo so anyway that someone who has links to the big bosses of compay get put down i love it GO Mr VINCE K McMAHON
