Is the WWE experience worth the $ ?

Occasional Pre-Show
Everytime I have had a chance to go, I back out because I feel I get more out of the program from watching on t.v. What is it like at the live events? I am thinking about buying tickets to Extreme Rules for about 55 bucks a pop.

I suppose it depends on what $55 means to you. A few years ago I would drop that money without thinking twice and go to a show. Unfortunately my income isn't what it once was so I'm a little more picky with what I spend my money on these days. Of course I've been to countless shows over the years so the thrill has worn off. I pass on most shows now, but I decided to get tickets to the 3/28 Raw because it's the last one before mania and I figure something big might happen. If you've never gone I suggest you check it out. All fans should go to at least one live show.

^ pretty much.

If you're going to a televised show, then just go to it dude. If you think you will get more out of watching it on TV, then go to the show AND order it and record it so you can watch it back and see how it came across on TV and to the audience and then decide which you prefer.

I really have had a great time both ways. Whether it was a house show or a televised show. I've had anything from free tix to the most expensive being my last show, the October Smackdown right after Hell In A Cell, it was $180 but then again, we were pretty much in the front row for the whole show. But we also got to see NXT, Superstars, AND SD. So it wasn't a bad price considering we got 3 shows in one sitting. So, it really depends on what you consider. I'd also say look for radio contests and such as well.

Do you think I should just get the more expensive tickets to enjoy it more?

If you're going to get expensive tickets, make sure you get the ring side or atleast 3 rows back at most.

I got really expensive tickets once for a RAW house show 10 rows back from the ring and you couldn't see shit from everyone standing up on the floor seating. Either go for ring side or get seats where it starts to slope up and from experience, get tickets on the camera side so you can take pictures of people talking face on.

Yeah, when I paid the $180 bucks, I had 3rd row. But we got to sneak up to 1st row because some idiot bought the first two rows and never showed up for them, and me and my friend, and some kid in front of us ended up moving to the front row after the NXT was done taping, just in time for Superstars. I think the worst seat I've ever had was the first set of risers just before WM 25, but they were free from winning some contest at a tv station. But it was still decent enough, I was like 13 rows back. Other than that, I had won 3rd row to RAW the monday before Jericho re-debuted in 07, right before Survivor Series, and even with buying tix, never usually got worse than a 5th row seat.
