Is Monkey an emo?

Life is good. Work, internship, friends, and spent all day, night and morning of Saturday and early Sunday with a female. Pretty damn good I'd say.

How about you, bro?

Fuckin A, man. Sounds great. Not to bad from here. Lots of school shit, but the Kid Cudi CD comes out tomorrow and it gives me something to look forward to. I can't wait for Thanksgiving break.

What classes are you takin'? Never really listened to Cudi, but that's mainly due to musical taste. I look forward to my friend's coming home for Thanksgiving break so I can imagine how psyched you will be when it comes.

British Novels and the Mystic, Chemistry of Art, Intro to Language and Native American Literature. I understand about Cudi. I used to be all about punk and grunge music, but my tastes have opened up to rappers such as Cudi, Lupe and B.O.B.

May I suggest A Tribe Called Quest? I think you'll like them as well.

Sounds like some interesting classes. Intro to Language may be the only one I'd really be into, but just from my standpoint. My freshmen and sophomore years of high school I was into hip hop and rap. I've been all about rock and alternative rock for probably 3 years.

It's basically a linguistics class. Thank god my professor is actually cool or else it would be hell. It is interesting though. I still love some Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Alice in Chains, but rap has definitely taken over my preference as of late.

Also, Angel, I have heard some from A Tribe Called Quest. They are pretty good. I also really enjoy Jurassic 5. They are fucking awesome.
