Is it me or is JBL becoming less of an asshole?

b4 when he used to wrestle and even in his very early commentating job he used to like every heel. Now he cheers for Batista, and for Rey Mysterio and for other faces.

Even though he put eddie through hell while eddie was alive, he now speaks about him very fondly.

That was all apart of the storyline purposes. Then JBL was one of the top heels and Eddie Guerrero was one of the top faces when they feuded. Most of the time wrestling is "kayfabe", unless otherwise you hear different. In reality JBL doesn't really hate Eddie Guerrero, but when they were feuding JBL's character as a heel storyline wise he hated Eddie Guererro which was considered "kayfabe".

I'll tell you why we seem to hate him less. It's simply because he's a good commentator and because Michael Cole is a lousy commentator. Most of the time JBL is making sense while Cole is doing the 'óh my god, the babyface got screwed' crap. So basically, all the hate we're supposed to have for JBL is transferred onto Cole because he sucks as a commentator, while we already know that JBL is a WRESTLING/COMMENTATING GOD!!!.

i think JBL is a great comentator he is so funny and he is always rite on top of the action....I love it wen he comentates on vito thats sum funny shit

^^^ Omg it is funny when he goes "Michael, you go drinking with him!" When King Booker comes out, he's also funny. I like him as a comentator, I didn't like him when he wrestled. He's kool Lol.

Yeah, i'd agree with that, JR is so boring the way he always goes with Cena. If RAW had SD!'s commentators it would be miles better and by far the dominant brand.
