Is Batista still with WWE?

So we all know that Batista had quit WWE back in June after the match with Evolution and the Shield(Kayfabe), but only to promote movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, but from what I remembered, he had signed a 2 year contract with the company...so what has happened? I know he was given so much disrespect from idiotic fans during his run that he didn't deserve at all, and there are no plans for him to return. So did he actually quit the company or something? Could somebody fill me in?

He's still under contract I believe. Even though he got fed up with fans, Batista's 2014 run was good for everyone in my opinion. After his heel turn, I think fans didn't really hate him anymore and were just bugging him mostly. He probably knew that too. He produced such classic moments like "Deal With It!", The cool RKO Powerbomb Spot at WM, Evolution reunion, BlueTista, and the weird hand wave he did before he left. I think he'll be back as soon as he's done his James Bond stuff to build up some kind of big angle with Aitch or something and then retire. Good old Batista.

He still wants that retirement match with HHH. Batista is a natural heel and when he went with it, it was entertaining! I never hated Batista returning and always liked him He even wrestled every week on RAW/Smackdown and even some house shows! Plus he didn't get burnt out like he used to.

He improved greatly wrestling wise and he probably has awesome anti-asmah drugs so he can breathe better. Perhaps a better cardio routine because he looked like he was in great shape.

He only got boo'ed because Bryan was the fan fav....but it worked out great in the end. WWE was smart to include Bryan in that match because the fans were ready to boo wrestlemania too the ground if it was just Randy Vs Batista.

Somebody showed me their list of Wrestlemania 31 matches, and a lot of them with the top talent were singles matches.

I had wondered whether if the Rock could be accommodated we could end up with Rock & Sting vs HHH & Batista. I know Batista left on acrimonious terms with HHH in kayfabe, but they can easily resolve that.

Dave Batista signed a year contract and he is off in Hollywood making movies obviously he wasn t even in RR I wonder why? He ll be heading to TNA afterwards

Christ at a computer, he will not be heading to TNA after he finishes the Bond movie or at any other time. Why in God's name would he take himself off to TNA, when he could return to the WWE?

If he was ever going to go to TNA he would already be there. Dixie Carter would wet herself at the thought of getting him on her roster. Well she can hold her water, cause it any gonna happen anytime soon.

I don't think he'll ever get that one on one with HHH. I can't see how they could make it happen unless his new found Hollywood success makes him more likeable and popular.

Yeah I remember hearing about the two year deal a while back, but I'm guessing he got a lot of flexibility in his deal that lets him take as much time as he wants to do movies. Which I guess kinda works out for WWE since he is a walking promotion for them and it obviously works out great for Batista. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see those 2 years pass by without Batista coming back if he can keep on getting movie deals but if he can get back to in-ring shape 1 last run that ends with him vs HHH at WM32 could be fun.

He won't go anywhere near TNA because he doesn't need the money and it would only compromise his movie and WWE career.

Not a fan personally though, I think he seems like a good guy in real life but he's terrible in the ring, for a big guy he doesn't seem particularly intimidating or convincing
