Is Anyone Really Looking Forward to 2015?

I'm waiting to here further information regaurding matches with Sting and HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN. Other than that I am not looking forward to much
There is a possibility that I might go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Royal Rumble and maybe WrestleMania. But, I certainly won't be paying for anything. At the moment I'm actually more curious as to what changes TNA will make for it's debut on it's new network.

Well Vince did say that we would see Sting. He didn't say when and that he would be at Mania, but in what capacity we still don't know. I am looking forward to that. He didn't say anything about Hogan being in the ring though. Think it's pretty obvious why. Wouldn't mind Hogan as a special guest referee.

I am really looking forward to 2015 as a WWE fan. For the simple fact that it can't be any worse than 2014. Right? The best two PPV's of the WWE calendar are now on the horizon and the road to WrestleMania normally does enough to get me excited.

When you look at, they have a number of returning talents that will get us through most of that path. Randy Orton should be back within the next few weeks, I would think. He has a lot of unfinished business with a good few people in the WWE and I can't wait to have someone like him back. To be honest, the WWE are bereft of top level main event talent, the need for Orton has never been greater. Roman Reigns openly admitted that he is on the path to recovery and that is awesome too. He was cut short in the prime of his push and when he comes back, I fully expect him to go on and win the Royal Rumble. Also, let's not forget about Daniel Bryan, who everyone is speculating will return in time for the Rumble, too. There's three massive names in the WWE that are bound to be back sooner rather than later.

Also, it looks like Sting, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will do the business at WrestleMania. Hell, you might even be lucky and get Triple H and The Rock back in the ring. Like I said, the need for top level talents in the WWE is huge right now. But the talent they have at their disposal is tremendous and they really could make WrestleMania a huge draw if they handle things correctly and pay the right people the right money.

If they have a strong Rumble and a better Mania, then there is no reason that they can't have a big 2015. The old guard are now well out of the way and it is time that they start building their next generation. And with some of the talent in NXT, we might have a reason to be excited as WWE fans again.

I am looking forward to 2015. WrestleMania season, starting in January, is the most exciting time of the year for the WWE.

2015 may be the equivalent of 2005 when WWE created two big stars in Cena and Batista. The same may happen with the former members of The Shield.

I was thinking this way until I saw the podcast between Austin and McMahon and my mind changed.

Just the way that Vince talked about the roster, which he didn't seem too crazy about. The fact that he thinks Cesaro isn't credible and the only person that's reached for the brass ring is Cena. It just looks like McMahon himself has some questions about what he created going forward.

They have tons of talent. It's not used properly but it's there. Yes they've been hurt big time by injuries, but that's the time to bring others along and they were doing it with Ambrose. Now that Reigns is coming back and Barrett, Ambrose has been in a a way demoted to a feud with Bray Wyatt.

They could have teased us with Ambrose/Rollins with some insertions from Reigns, right through to Mania and had a great 3 way match. No they dropped the ball on the Ambrose/Rollins feud and burst that balloon. Even if they start up again it won't be the same.

I just don't see any of the story lines they have going for them now being absolutely to die for, must watch TV. And with the Rumble next month, and Mania 3 months away, they'd better get started and quick.
Vince can say a lot of things. He also (if you remember) named the Shield and Wyatt by name as guys he likes.

Ambrose hasn't been "demoted". Goddamn. Bryan had a feud with Wyatt and was "demoted". It's silly. You can't constantly have the gas on guys, you have to move them around. Wyatt will bring out a new side in Ambrose and make his character better. Don't be so simple minded when it comes to characters. It's not about "let's keep this character in the main event to push them" it's often about keeping them interesting and fleshing them out. That's why someones a losing streak is actually good for a character. It gives them motivation for character evolution.

They really need to call up a lot of guys (and girls) from NXT in order to have a compelling year. As great as NXT is, I think they've run into a bit of a problem establishing it as its own thing, which is outshining their main product by a long shot, in my opinion. It's supposed to be their 'developmental' promotion, yet most of the talent on there have already developed into their own unique characters. You have guys like Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady for example, who are going out there every other week and delivering the most entertaining promos in the WWE right now... to a crowd of hundreds instead of thousands (and millions of online/TV viewers). If those two delivered that material on Raw they'd be two of the biggest stars in the company. Ambrose got over pretty quickly in his singles career because of his mic abilities, imagine what these two guys would do!

2015 should be all about taking risks and building the future of the WWE. They haven't been taking enough risks. They rely too much on the familiar, which is ironic because seeing the same matches that we've seen over and over again for almost 10 years, makes for a boring and stale product. In 2015 - out with the old, in with the new.

Not really sure if I'm looking forward to 2015. First off, I'm really uncertain about WrestleMania. I feel that the perfect scenario would be Bryan recovering in time to win the Royal Rumble, but chances are that won't be happening. So this would mean that Reigns will be the guy to take out Lesnar and win the WWE WHC at Mania, which isn't something I want. I don't like Lesnar as a champion, since I feel he should have at least defended the title at Survivor Series instead of just taking a glorified hiatus because he wants more money. But Reigns gives me a really bad feeling, and he'll be getting Cena like runs with the title, when there are more deserving guys on the roster, like Rollins, Ambrose, Wyatt and Ziggler.

Well I'm Just Zay'n that this is like the worst possible year for them to be taking risks. They took a risk on Punk...he left. On Del Rio...he left. On Bryan...out for half a year. Then the WWE network blunder shows how bad of a shape the WWE is actually in right now. While I fully agree that the problem is how things haven't changed, risk taking shouldn't be happening week in and out. For the unpredictable to be unpredictable, you need a predictable to be there all the time

WrestleMania 31 Prediction:
8. Lesnar 'C'/Reigns - WWEWHC
7. Divas Championship Match
6. HHH/Sting - Control of WWE
5. Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Ambrose, Ziggler, Wyatts, etc)
4. Cena/Rusev
3. Orton/Rollins
2. Tag Team Championship Match
1. Bryan/Kane

Not saying it's going to be a great card. But I could see it shaping up like this in some capacity. Would this get you excited? For Sting, sure. Rollins probably cashes in on Reigns, which will be exciting. I don't see Bryan going back after the title any time soon, and certainly not winning it again any time soon. Maybe he feuds with Rollins post 'Mania.

IF Cesaro wins the RR it will be a great year. Build him as a mad ex employee of Heyman. When Brock came back Heyman put him aside and now he is mad that he ruined his push and he will take Lesnar and his WWE WHC title to prove he is the best. He and Cena are the only two guys on the whole roster who can beat Lesnar and make it look legit. There is NO ONE ELSE. Cesaro is the only answer! He reminds me of Goldberg in tern of looking menacing next to Brock ( yeah i know he isnt that menacing now, but he can have his moments)
Big Show is a joke since Lesnar always destroyed him.
Undertaker just would not be thesame
Kane is not a mosnter anymore
Henry is lame
Harper is good but not big enough
Seth and Dean, I just dont believe they can beat him in a fair fight.
Roman....I just dont see it.
Ziggler is .... i hate to say too small and like DB would be hard to convince that he can beat him.
