*insert sports star name here* and rape.

Master of the Aussie kiss
Seem's to be the most common storyline now day's. Wrestlers, Football players, soccer players ect, at least once every six months someone is getting accused of it. in some cases they really did it. but most cases The alleged "victim" made it up. It can ruin Careers, Teams sometimes even the whole sport. is there a way to be able to prevent this? to stop people ruining peoples careers over money, or their five minutes of fame?

I guess away to stop all the Accusations is to keep them on a short leash, let them have Parties but have people around them not drinking to keep an eye on them. Because no judge is going to believe four or so team mates that was drunk on the night in question that the guy didn't do it. It's the only way i can think of short of cutting every sports star's nuts off. What do you think could be done?

I'm not sure what can be done. You could try to police them harder but nobody is going to want that. The players want their freedom and the team is not going to want to have to monitor their players.

A big problem is the percepcition that these players have as being "the shit" being they play pro ball. They have all this money and it feeds their ego. They want to be at the clubs, have any girl they want because that's just what you gotta do. And those golddiggin women will do whatever they can to get in their pants then turn around and claim rape. Unfortuntely that's just the way it is. The only change that can be made is that they don't go out or only with their boys. But nobody wants to be in a sausagefest. You gotta have the girls.

So in reality there will be really no way to stop it from happening unless you stop going out all together. Because there's no way to out and not chase the beezies.

Most of the time you don't know what happened; people make it up for attention, others withdraw statements due to feeling pressure, however indirect, when it may have been true. There isn't anything you can do to stop it, which sports players are going to want to be followed about by people? Just be happy in the fact that it's almost impossible to be found guilty of rape, so the odds are, if she's making it up, they'll be found not guilty.

As a side note, you'd have to be very, very stupid to rape someone if you're that famous she'll recognise you.
