India Vs Australia WC2015 Semi Final (Mauka Mauka Edition)

Indian bowlers making the Australians uncomfortable. They look like a machine that hasn't been oiled in a while. Another wicket (preferably Smith's) would put us in a strong position.

What the fuck is happening? India needs to get a couple of wickets, AND SOON!! Here comes Jadeja. Ashwin, Raina and Rohit still to go. These two are settling down. Not good. Not good at all.

As long as Dhoni is there, the match is still alive. 90-10 chances at this point. If one of them gets out within the next five overs, it's over.

You indian fans and your blind optimism its adorable.

how long have you been over here now? How many games have you won in that time?

Game was over before the toss of the coin

Ye fuck off dipshit, they were unbeaten in the tourney and were doing great this far.

We certainly won more matches in this tournament than Australia did. Oh and scored more runs and took more wickets as well. Australia played better than India today and they won the match. That's it. What happened in the tri-series and the one before that is history. Saying that today's match was over before the coin-toss, is quite foolish.
But yeah, the toss pretty much settled it :D

And we've played a game less. At no stage in the lead up to the game did i fear Australia. Your bowling attack just isnt good enough to play against Australia in Australia.

Except on this occasion it was not the Indian bowling that let them down.

On that track, 330 was gettable especially after the start they got but the middle order went almost literally nowhere. Sure, the wickets slowed them down but Rahane and even Dhoni played far too conservatively. To allow the run rate to reach 10+ an over with still 17 overs left was criminal. Rahane in particular was useless during that period. At least Dhoni was going at a run a ball.

Hit out or get out.

Well i was going to say that your whole line-up isnt good enough to beat australia in australia, but its not true. Whatever India's problem is with winning in Australia it isnt talent. And thats why you were never winning.

Ye Barbs got that right, that last spell Mohit got with Johnson's quickfire cameo and then the fact that there was some horrid shot selection by the likes of Raina and Kohli killed it.

But in all honesty, Aussies are a stronger more complete outfit in this WC than India.

NZ is stronger though.

Indian batsmen really have not yet learned how to farm short pitched deliveries. And why would they given that there is almost none of it in the subcontinent.

Once the Aussies got their lengths right, it was always going to be tough for India. But even with that, the way middle order became passive, relying on a Dhoni miracle with still half of their overs left was poor.

As Shane Warne said on commentary, get bowled out for 260 with 10 overs left swinging from the hip rather than a just plodding along.
