Impact Support Club House

I dunno dude, from what I've seen he's more than that. But he's a great character. Characters sell. Look at ECIII. Passable wrestler. Superb character.

Did he do the same gimmick in Chikara? The gimmick itself I'm not high on, but I've seen him wrestle a couple times in ROH. Could be a future TV champ, provided he can get it off Jay Lethal.

I have no idea. Don't watch it. I'm just basing this on what I've seen of him on YouTube, which consists of a collection of like five videos.

@MikeBohnMMA: "Rampage" Jackson says TNA "killed" his desire to do pro wrestling. Says he thinks they handled him terribly.

@brydertna: Really? First class travel for him & an entourage, & then he was afraid to get touched in the ring. Hope he loses.

Hilarious

According to The Wrestling Observer, TNA will be giving Ethan Carter III a big push in the near future.

Yeah, baby!

ECIII over Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight title. It needs to happen. It needs to.

I can't wait for the laundry list promos from WHC Carter about how he put all the greats out to pasture — Sting, Bully Ray, Dreamer, Angle...

He did not. He is/was "Smooth Sailing" Ashley Remington in Chikara

Oh, my dear Lord...

I'm rooting for a Mr. 450 signing before WWE can get to him. Good in the ring. Great gimmick. Great on the mic. And has a niche fanbase wrestling ignores.

I saw a couple of his matches in CHIKARA and ROH. But I see the same problem in him I see in RD Evans. They can't really steer matches around outside their gimmicks.

They aren't supposed to be more than that. Just fun, gimmicky midcarders. Like what Adam Rose should be

I really liked the segment with Storm, Magnus, and Mickie this past Friday. Very refreshing to see a character go for the babyface cheap heat while still subtly scheming some sinister plans as a heel. More shades of grey, please.

Also, has anyone improved as much as Taryn Terrell has from her WWE to TNA stints? She went from "Oh, look, another model wants to wrestle and bore the shit out of me every time she enters a ring" to the new white Gail Kim. She's honestly fucking awesome. Bet the WWE wishes they didn't let her go now. Love seeing Mia Yim in TNA, have had a big ol' crush on her for years. Might have to fight Norcal for her one day. The Dollhouse seems intriguing, and I like the turn for Taryn as her babyface run had run it's course. Though those kendo stick shots in that title match was some of the weakest weaksauce to ever sauce.

Between NXT and TNA (and of course Shimmer and Shine) the American women's wrestling scene hasn't been this good in....possibly ever.

I know he has his own fed, but he's still the very last person in the world (apart from his lookalike in My Chemical Romance) who I'd expect to see in Pro Wrestling.

Ill be honest. Any change on the top of the guard has to be a good one right now. As nice as TV is right now, its clear there is 0 long term planning outside of EC3 being Champion. Not to mention there's the age old complaint of writing being same old same old. Maybe a fresh corporate face will change that.

Plus, TNA REALLY needs someone that can tell Dixie "this is stupid, we aren't doing it".

Well. TNA went from a 1 man Spanish announce team to non-existent. Hector Guerrero is off on some sort of new venture now and Willie Urbina left wrestling several months ago.

Seriously, fuck Mark Madden.

I stopped reading or caring about anything he had to say years ago. He's a confirmation bias writer. You read him if you hate TNA and want someone "above you" to confirm the same biases you already share.

Useless information to anyone looking for objectivity.
